Great place to stay

A wonderful place to stay. I've been in the country for about 10 days and this was my absolute favorite place I stayed at. The owner clearly cares about giving guests a nice experience, the rooms are well-decorated and clean, the shared kitchen is a super great amenity, and the hot tub was a delightful surprise. 10/10.

Lovely place, great value for money

We enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was very clean and the hosts were friendly. It provides all essentials, we had access to a very well equipped kitchen and an entertainment area (pool table, darts, chess). Location was very good, there are restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. It is also a nice area for hiking, close to the Hot Springs, where after a 45 min hike we got to relax by bathing in the warm water of a river. Would definitely consider going back.

The best place to stay in Iceland!

There is a towel/rope drier! It's usually forgotten / not invented in hotels. It seems warm floors softly regulate temperature. There is a shared washing machine & kitchen. Very friendly owners!

Breakfast would be a nice addition. It is hard to find it in the town in the morning. Petrol station helped a little bit.

Would definitely come again

Great location to explore the golden circle. Well equiped appartement with enough privacy, you can easily cook, even has a washmachine. Nice hot tube outside. Hosts are very friendly, despite a belated arrival of our plane we got the keys without problem.

Superb

Very nice room, clean and modern and comfy. Host happily allowed me a late checkout so I could shower between hot springs and the airport.

Instant coffee was a little disappointing but there was a good coffee shop right down the road

Nice guest house with a great host

Very pleasant guest house, with super friendly host! He made sure to warm up a jacuzzi for us, since we were traveling during winter times. The guest house is located in a quiet town with several bars and restaurants, not too far from Reykjavik. Good place to stay while traveling down the south coast.

Beautiful, clean apartment with an outside hottub

The owner are very sweet and helpful. We were the only guests but they filled the hottub just for us. The rooms and bathrooms are new, very clean and clearly designed with taste. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to any one that wants to stay in the area. Price was very fair for the comfort!

Superb

Very clean and nice room, modern interior. Netflix available. Host was very nice also. We were able to use the hot tub and got it by ourselves, because there were none else at that time. Shared kitchen available. All in all a very nice place.

Loved our stay wished we could have stayed longer

Great location for seeing the golden circle attractions. Also great to access the hot springs. The accomodation had everything you needed a fully stocked kitchen, washing machine and even stocked the basics for you like laundry powder etc. we loved our stay.

Hot Tub in the backyard for your relaxation after busy day at hiking trails. Great apartment with well equipped kitchen and cozy rooms.

Great find and very modern.

The location was awesome. Very modern and well appointed. It has a hot tub, which I didn't remember when booking. Bonus! The bedrooms were comfy. The bathroom was huge. The living area had very comfy chairs. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities. The outside patio was nice to sit and have coffee/after dinner drinks. The location was quiet. It was within walking distance to the downtown restaurant area. The town is clean and safe. Unfortunately the thermal park next door was closed.

The best place that we have stayed during our 9-day Iceland holiday

The property is in a local residential area. We were given a 2-bedroom apartment with large open plan kitchen and living room. The bathroom is also huge. The place was tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was amazing and shared with other residents. There are shops and restaurants nearby. It is a short drive to the steam valley which we visited the next day.

Nothing really. We would like to stay longer.

The room was well spaced, very quite and well stocked. The hosts were very friendly and made sure they had heated the hot tub for us. The shower was glorious!

The only thing that might have been useful was the ability to turn down the temparture in the room. (the under floor heating in the bathroom was SO nice after coming in from outside) but the room got a bit hot at night.

Absolutely fabulous guesthouse—much exceeded expectations!!

This is a fantastic guesthouse! The owner had heated up the hot tub for us before our arrival, snd even adjusted our rooms to get us an apartment together. It was incredibly spacious, cozy, and inviting that absolutely exceeded our expectation. Very sophisticated guesthouse super close to the thermal river hike and other great sights.

Ideal

This location has it all. Great location for Golden Circle and for driving the South coast. We didn’t visit the local swimming pool, but there is one. All the amenities for cooking meals, but easy walking to several restaurants, grocery store, bakery and local brewery—but not so close that you would have noise. Private, peaceful location, with good heat and comfortable beds. We stayed 2 nights but could have easily stayed longer.
