About this condo rental
Nestled in Florence, this charming condo for £171 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. CENTRAL FLORENCE APARTMENT VACATION RENTAL, NEXT TO CENTRAL MARKET, WI-FI and A/C. You will be welcome in our lovely and comfortable apartment situated in the heart of Florence! This is a fantastic location, just a few hundred meters from the Cathedral, the Accademia Gallery, the Medicean Chapels, the S. Marco Museum, S. Maria Novella Church. Most of the city's amenities and attractions are within easy walking distance. The famous San Lorenzo Market, with its typical Florentine atmosphere and the “Fortezza da Basso" Pitti centre of exposure is 5 minutes on foot. You can reach every place of interest on foot! The apartment is located in a beautiful typical quiet street (no traffic noise) at the ground floor of a XVIII° sec. building. It is made up of: a small living-room with a sofa, a well equipped kitchen (kettle is provided), one bedroom with double bed (160x190 cm), a second bedroom with 2 single beds (80x190 cm), one bathroom with shower/bath, Wc, bidet & wash-basin, a second small bathroom with Wc and wash-basin. In the second bedroom there is a single comfortable bed, a wardrobe and a small desk. There is also a mezzanine with a single mattress bed the wooden floor. There is a ladder to climb over so this last solution of the mezzanine is suitable for young people. The two bedrooms, the living-room and the kitchen open to a private charming flowered courtyard (40 sqm). The whole apartment faces the inner private courtyard and not the street so during the night there is no traffic noise even if the street is not busy. Please, note that the courtyard is exclusive for our guests. The apartment is tastefully furnished and it has been recently fully restored. INDEPENDENT GAS HEATING SYSTEM for winter time. FREE INTERNET WI-FI, SMART TV and A/C AIR-CONDITIONING: As the apartment has thick walls and it is located on the ground floor of an ancient building, it is naturally cool, even in summer. However we have also equipped it with air conditioning and with mobile fans, which make it perfectly refreshed during the hot season. KINDLY NOTE: during the night the air conditioning will be turned off from 11pm to 8am each night per condominium regulation to avoid noise in the courtyard and mobile fans may be turned on. With this system the apartment is perfectly cool also during the night. The remote control will be provided only from half June to half September. Being the apartment on the ground floor it is easy and comfortable to carry your luggage in. The location of the apartment allows our guests to come back home and having a break during the day, and sightseeing later... without taking any bus or taxi. Arriving by train guests can reach our apartment from the S.M. Novella railway station easily on foot (15 minutes) without taking any cab or bus, if they wish. From SM Novella railway station they can get buses or train to easily reach (and without driving) all the most important towns of art in Tuscany (Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Arezzo). Our apartment is ideally located, close to everything but in a very convenient and safe area away from the crowds! Few steps from our apartment there is a well-stocked supermarket (Carrefour express). Restaurants, bank, pharmacy, bike rentals, every kind of shops are at walking distance. Bike and scooter rental's is 50 meters far. PLEASE NOTE LINEN: we provide bed and bath linen (included in the price) on arrival but extra change is 20 € per person. If you are 2 people and require to sleep in different beds kindly let me know it in advance. In case of long stay customers are due to pay also costs of water, gas and electricity. Check in from 3:00 pm until 8.00 pm. Check out by 10.30 am on departing day Different time can be arranged in advance with the owner. Arrivals after 8:00 p.m. are possible paying an EXTRA COST of 30 Euros to be paid on arrival in cash, in euros. Arrivals after midnight will be charged 50 Euros. KINDLY, COMMUNICATE YOUR ARRIVAL TIME IN ADVANCE FOR A QUICK CHECK-IN. No smoking inside the apartment. No parties. Sorry, the apartment is not adapted for wheelchair users. No pets allowed.

We liked the location - walked from train station and walked to museums and other areas of interest. Also was on a quiet street in a quiet building.
The unit itself is small for four people. The second bathroom was a sink and toilet only and those barely fit in the room. The main bathroom therefore was used for showers for all four people. The living area does have a couch and a bookshelf but not much space. No space for four people to congregate unless we all sat on the same couch in a row. The kitchen was serviceable but also small with four people wedged into a table pushed up against a wall.
Main bedroom did not have a door so any sounds from any activity in other parts of the apartments drifted in.
The heat is not ideal. A central thermostat but with registers in the main bedroom and by the front door resulting in uneven heat distribution. The main bedroom was hot and the other bedrooms were cold.
Check in and communication were great. Very clear and responsive.
The apartment met our most basic needs.

Very cozy apartment with all you need to have an enjoyable stay in Florence. The location is very close to the Central market, shops, restaurants, major sites and train station. If you're looking to stay in a convenient Florentine neighborhood, this is the place! I would highly recommend this property. Rosy and Marco were the perfect hosts.

The suite is well situated and close to restaurants and store. Nice quite neighbor hood.
Good communications with Rosy. Met us at the suite when we arrived from Rome.
We could have used extra towels and sheets .Because we were there two weeks and it rained a lot doing laundry became an issue.

Place was nice and clean and easy to get to all locations from. 3 of us were able to spread out. Nice to have the little court yard as we were there during a heat wave.

Off the beaten path but a 15-20” walk to train station and major churches and museums. Grocery store at end of street. We used the washing machine and there is a big folding rack for drying. Bed was comfy could use softer sheets and the hot water shower was iffy depending on time of day. Rosy was an excellent communicator and the fan and AC worked very well. Staying here gave me a real sense of what living in Florence would be like.

The apartment is in a great location for access to all the sights of Florence.
It is quite a dark apartment, being on the ground floor, which was fine with us as we were out all day sightseeing and only back during the day once.
The courtyard, although being overlooked by other flats and receiving limited sunlight, was a nice space to relax as long as the air conditioning unit was not on as it was extremely hot weather when we were there. All the facilities were as described.
My son left his laptop charger which the owner confirmed was at the apartment but did not follow up when I requested for it to be posted at my cost, which is unfortunate because all correspondence up until this was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment! The layout is fantastic with the open terrace in the middle. My wife and I really enjoyed spending our nights out there and our kids loved sleeping in the loft.
The check-in was a little problematic in that I couldn’t get my phone working internationally right away so when we arrived at the apartment and no one was there to check us in, it was stressful but it all worked out in the end.
The location is nearby all the attractions and we had no trouble getting around. A big plus for us is that there was a playground right around the corner. We would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to return in the future!

We loved the property - it was a place I could imagine staying in for a long while. The garden patio was a lovely scene in which to relax and enjoy nature in the middle of Florence. The location was optimal, being quite near the Academy. The apartment was spacious and very clean. We loved it there! Thank you!

The property was great and we enjoyed the courtyard immensely. Walking wsa easy to most attractions. Ths musician on the second floor serenaded us several nights as he practiced. Overall a great plac eto stay and we will return.

The apartment was exactly as it was shown in the pictures. Check in was easy and everything about the apartment and surrounding area was nicely provided for in a book. The terrace was lovely, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were perfect for 3 women. Very easy walk to main attractions and train / bus station where we met up with all our tours . Host was easily reachable if we had a question . Would definitely stay here again should I be lucky enough to return to Florence .

Rosy very kindly allowed us to check in a bit early. We only had one night there but it was lovely. Sat out on the patio listening to the raindrops. So quiet and peaceful. Right by Mercato Centrale. Nice neighborhood with a variety of ethnic restaurants nearby. Would definitely choose to stay there again.

Very nice and clean 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor which was very helpful for my mother. Great proximity to most of the great sights in Florence including the amazing Mercato Centrale. What a market. Our hosts Rose and Marco were very helpful and kind. Would love to stay there again if and when we get a chance to return to Florence.

We had a very comfortable stay. The place was clean and well kept. Also the courtyard was great for a little outside space. It was the perfect set up with one queen bedroom and the other having the 2 twins with one in the loft was perfect for me an my son for a little extra privacy. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to stay whilst in Florence. The home was close to the centre of all attractions. Central Market 6 minute walk, coffee shops all nearby.
Clean, quirky and outdoor space. We enjoyed the home and all the amenities, kettle, coffee pot along with fresh coffee. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful two bed, two bath with enclosed patio on the first floor was comfortable and clean. Centrally located to all attractions. Easy walking. Loved also that Centrale Marquet was close for fine Italian food - especially great gelato. Apt was easy to find from train and we were met by Marco who was very helpful

Charming traditional apartment with courtyard
The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. Super charming and well equipped with everything we needed. It really does stay cool without air-conditioning. A quiet street, easy walk to everywhere. Definitely recommend it!

clean, quiet and comfortable. It was very hot in Florence when we were there but the apartment stayed a comfortable temperature. The courtyard was a quiet and comfortable place. The apartment is about 10 -15 min walk from most major attractions. We stayed here 4 nights, we have 2 teenagers, it was perfect for us.

We discovered some notable restaurants named: Royal India, Paoli and Amalfi Pizzeria. Our host Rosy responded quickly to our needs and her home is spacious and cool, as the days were fairly warm the week we travelled. The courtyard is stunning with its lively plants that make you forget you’re in a busy city. It’s a must to walk the streets around the Duomo in the evening when Florence’s beauty sparkles at night. A small tour to the cities of Cortona in Tuscany and Assisi in Umbria were fantastic (see Viator). All in all, we had a lovely visit in Florence with San Lorenzo as our haven to rest and recharge.
