It's challenging to choose our favorite bedroom, as all three are well-sized and charming with unique decor that reflects the look and feel of the surrounding forest. My sisters and I booked this lovely cabin for our 20th annual sister trip. It was heavenly! Quiet, clean, plenty of space and lots of places to be together, inside and out. We loved our bedrooms and those comfy beds! We cooked our dinners in the spacious kitchen and ate inside or on the deck. We slept in-it's so quiet in this neighborhood. The property was charming and well-maintained. When we had a minor fixture problem, Elizabeth was quick to get it remedied for us. We hope to come back soon!

Wonderful property. Funky in a great way. The manager could not have been more helpful. Instructions were left throughout the cabin concerning how things work; I wish everyone did this. We've visited several VRBO properties over the years and this was one of our favorites. Can't wait for the opportunity to revisit this outstanding property.

Our group had a wonderful time at the property. Check-in was smooth and the host was easy to communicate with throughout the stay. The entire cabin is well decorated and comfortable. There are beautiful views out of every window! We wouldn't hesitate to book the cabin again if we were coming to the area.

Charming! Making your way to this home on tiny streets that are more like paths ultimately revealed a beautiful cabin home nestled on the mountain side with incredible views. I am glad we delayed the wild drive up the mountain until daylight due to a lot of snow! The hour+ drive from Palm Springs is not for you if you get car sick or are terrified by heights! The home is filled with eclectic art, a lovely book selection, and is so comfy and cozy. I would have loved to have enjoyed the fun yard and deck but the snow was too deep and the temps too chill! We will have to come another time. I think this fun/artsy town must be very busy in the summer. Great eats and drinks in town!

We enjoyed a quick getaway here, with our dog and family. Of course this property and owner are well-reviewed! The cabin has adorable decor, comfortable seating and beds, bathrooms and a kitchen with all the necessities, lots of storage space in the bedrooms, good tv's and an amazing deck. Just a couple of minutes from town. Due to snow, we couldn't take advantage of the deck, but I plan to book again and will enjoy it then. The owner is very communicative and kind.

Our initial plan was to hike, but the unprecedented snow storm kept us in. Instead, we relaxed in front of the fire in the comfort of this homey cabin, appreciated the beautiful view of the mountains, enjoyed the variety of streaming services, and did some cooking in the well equipped kitchen. Elizabeth was readily available for any help we needed both before and during the trip. We've stayed in other VRBO places and this one was one of the best. We hope to go back soon.

We found this enchanting and spacious log cabin to be wonderful place to get away and unwind for a few days. Elizabeth was a gracious and thoughtful host, equipping the comfortable cabin with everything we could possibly need during our stay, along with a generous basket of snacks and treats! Our grandkids enjoyed sledding and playing in the snow, and we never had to leave the property! This was a perfect place for our family of 5 to connect and relax, and we would highly recommend staying here.

I loved everything abt this cabin it was high up with a great view from the living room and the cabin was amazing. My kids had a blast there playing in the snow and having fires at night. Is abt 10 mins from the restaurants in town and the owner is easy to get ahold of and is very helpful. Me and my family can't wait to go back to this cabin definitely family friendly.

There were six of us total. Three couples. All three bedrooms were extremely spacious and beds were super comfy. The fireplace was awesome. The kitchen had everything that we needed and then some. Very easy to get in and out the front door with the keypad. The house was extremely light and bright, and very welcoming. it was perfect for our family gathering. And less than 10 minute drive into town. Also great walking in this beautiful little neighborhood. And having a park pass to go hiking was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something cozy and comfortable and oh so quiet.

This place exceeded expectations at every turn! We were greeted by a deer family at check in and they arrived at about the same time every day. The house is incredible inside and out and every detail is considered. We’re definitely coming back!

The place was fully stocked. You literally only need to bring your food. Everything else is provided. Deers literally pass through right next to cabin. Beds amazingly comfortable. Windows nd beautiful views everywhere.

This cabin is a perfect getaway! The check-in process was easy and smooth. The host, Elizabeth, was readily available for any questions and checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was okay. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and stylish. Everything you need is there - plenty of dishes and cookware, and towels and extra linens. The grounds are beautiful and the 2 decks are great for relaxing in the fresh air. They also have a very nice selection of books and games available. We would definitely stay again!

This is our second time staying at this cabin in the last 2 months. The cabin is very clean and has everything you need (and more!!). Beds are comfortable and on our second stay, the weather was warmer but having the AC made it cooler. The property is located in an ideal spot that has a breathtaking view of the mountains. We mostly stayed in the cabin and made our meals (occasionally went to the shops and hiked one day). Very peaceful and relaxing to read books (finished 2 books during our 4 night stay and host has a great collection of books), play ukulele (husband), and violin (daughter) at the deck. Elizabeth was easy to contact for any questions and instructions for check out were easy. We look forward to coming back to stay again before the end of the year.!!! Thank you Elizabeth!

We are a family of 5 with 3 little boys, ages 2, 4, and 5. We always have problems between sleeping arrangements, TV, not kid friendly, etc everywhere we go. It is very rare for a rental to have everything we need. This time we even brought my MIL to help with the kids. We've stayed in quite a few rentals from hawaii to vegas. And this has by far been the BEST one! I felt so much at home. Like I was house sitting for an aunt, not at a strangers house. It was a full house. With everything from condiments to board games. They even had a 3 story wooden fort, a slide, and a sand box. This is the ultimate family home getaway. I also had several questions for the owner over the course of the last 2 months. She responded so quickly each time. This experience was simply the best and I'm sure we will try and get this cabin next time we are in Idyllwild.

LOVED this log cabin and its whimsical and colorful decor. The kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfortable, and the deck with its view was outstanding. We had such a good time, we're already booking a return visit. Elizabeth was extremely easy to contact and very helpful!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time visiting this Idyllwild cabin with our dog. We’re planning to return with some friends because the cabin is the perfect size for 2-3 couples or a family. Idyllwild is very dog friendly, so it wasn’t a problem that we had to take our dog with us on our hikes and restaurant outings. The cabin was full of thoughtful little touches, including great little snacks, a nice note, and access to a parking pass perfect for snow season. The book selection was truly incredible, and we enjoyed the host’s tips on getting around town. We can’t wait to return!
