Our family of five ( four adults, one toddler )had a wonderful week in the Miscouche/Summerside area and the cottage met our needs very well. The chalet was very clean on entry .The main floor dining and living area had lots of room to enjoy games, puzzles and reading. The roomy kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. The bedroom layout was perfect for us as well. We really enjoyed the large deck and the sounds and sight of the ocean. We were very close to places to explore , enjoying the Confederation Trail for biking, the Summerside boardwalk for walking and the playground in Wellington. Viva La Crepe food truck, a short drive from the cottage ,was amazing as was the ice cream at Holman's and the coffee at Samuels in Summerside!! We enjoyed many enjoyable day trips within a sixty minute drive. Great location!

This property was just as described and even nicer than the pictures. Beautiful location right on the waters edge. Very close to amenities. We had our four children with us from age 11 to 17 and we had ample room and privacy for each of us when needed. The sunsets were beautiful. We had communications with the owners a couple days before arrival for the entry code and they checked in with us mid week and then we reached out on the day we left. Very responsive and little communication was needed as everything we needed met our expectations! We would definitely recommend and hope to return again. Thank you.

The cottage was well equipped and as described. The access to the beach is within 50’ of the deck. At high tide the water depth is 3-4’ so you will need to wade out a fair way to get into deeper water. At low tide you can walk for miles, do a little clam digging or just enjoy the serenity and beauty of your surroundings. Beds are comfortable but if you are use to a king it’s a bit cramped. Our host Brian was outstanding and very responsive; the bbq crapped out and was replaced the next day with a new one.We enjoyed our stay and would certainly return.

We were very happy with the location, and the house when we got there . However , we were very disappointed with the various repairs that need to be done in the house. Someone in June commented about the patio doors , and windows not working. We, arrived at the end of July , and clearly , nothing had been done. Neither patio door worked. And the big windows all across the front of the cottage , either wouldn’t open , or wouldn’t close if you did get it open.
The tv was difficult to get working. And after speaking with Jacqui for half an hour , we finally got it working , only to find out there were actually only two channels that worked.
We were woken up two nights by the Non functioning alarm system that just beeped as if there was a low battery .
We were left no instructions on when the garbage /recycling was picked up. And when we questioned the owner , he didn’t know either .
Over all , we loved the location, and the house , but felt it would be much easier renting a VRBO from an owner who actually lived near by and knew the house and property.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for kids and we went into the ocean multiple times a day. The house lay out was great for kids and relaxing. The only reason I didn’t put a 5/5 for our stay is because a few things in the house were broken and low stock/missing some house essentials. We would definitely rent again!

I gave the cottage two stars because the view is amazing ! However, We arrived at the cottage on June 14th. I tried numerous times to get a hold of the owner to give us the code for the key box. We had no idea how to get in. I finally found a phone number and it was their son's phone. He said his parents were working he would call them and he did call back with the number for the key box. When we finally got into the house I thought we had hit the jackpot , a piece of heaven ! Looking out of the windows and sliding glass door to the beach is amazing until you find out you cannot get any ot those windows or the sliding glass doors open !! The owner called and I mentioned that , and then he had his son talk to me about the TV and how to use it . Only to find out the TV was not hooked up or plugged in . Thankfully my family came over to visit and could do that for us as it took three of them to get it done because the TV is so big ! . The binder that should have all the needed information in it but it only had a pamphlet on how to use the microwave , no local contact numbers, or garbage day things we needed to know and expect to be there. I asked the owner and he did not know the info we needed, but said they were working on a page for the binder. Did not do us any good ! Our first night the bed in the main floor squeaks so much you can hear it in the living room ( and every night ) and very uncomfortable. The fact that with the sliding glass doors all jammed in it w

We simply loved the location in a quiet area near Miscouche......right on the beach/ocean [ Northumberland Stait]. Great sunsets ! The home had everything that we could ask for....spacious living room area ; a large deck ideal for relaxing & grilling & enjoying the spectacular views. Only a 10 minute drive to Summerside. Good sized bedrooms & kitchen/dining area. Our family gave it 5 Stars! Would not hesitate to return in the future...

The property sits on a gorgeous location overlooking the ocean. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. The tide goes our very far creating a great beach for long walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Miscouche.

We have just returned to Pennsylvania. It will take me some time to get over my sadness at leaving a beautiful, magical property and the island, itself. Brian and Jacqui were superb with timely responses and continued to check in over our two week stay. Terry and Jerry were local and met any and all needs over the first few days. Highly recommend. It’s a lovely, well-furnished home with an unforgettable view.

Amazing spot, close to groceries and everything you need(about 10 min drive) while also being very private. We had the beach to ourselves a good 90% of the time. Can’t say enough good things about this one.

AC keeps kitchen, eating area and living room nice and cool. The bedrooms downstairs and upstairs get quite warm during the day. In the evening there is always a nice breeze so if you open the windows in the front bedroom it cools it down. Overall I would give this a 5 star rating. We will be returning in 2023!

Spacious cottage with room for kid space & adult space. Can’t beat the location - 10 min to Summerside, beautiful drive to Cavendish, Rustico & west coast. Down quiet red dirt road, opening up to stunning property with the cottage on the beach. A few cottages set back behind, making it feel very private, yet not isolated. Shore line is amazing for kids, and when tide goes there are kilometres of sand for kids to play on. Great kite flying & breezes! Afternoons spent bbq on huge deck. Beautiful view Confederation Bridge too! Don’t forget to head east along shoreline for a beautiful & peaceful walk as kids search for shells & crabs! Amazing property!

Beautiful and peaceful.
Lovely large property. I would of given it 5 stars for cleanliness except the BBQ was so greasy we didn’t want to cook on it. Inside everything very clean and easy to find. A good number of towels and basics. Thank you for providing a home for our wonderful trip with family.

An Absolute Gem
My husband and I stayed at Brian and Jacqui's ocean front cottage for 10 wonderful days!
From beginning to end, communication with them was fast and easy.
The property, itself, is exactly as described! Magnificent views of the ocean from the large windows facing westward towards awesome sunsets!! Peace and quiet our entire stay!
We had everything we needed to cook, which was a joy, as my husband and I are foodies! And we were a mere 14 minutes away from Summerside, which has everything you need to make your stay a home away from home - Atlantic Superstore, Sobeys, Canadian Tire, PEI Liquor, Shopper's Drug Mart, and our favourite place JMK Fishmart for the lobster and mussels.
We walked on the ocean floor at low tide and saw a variety of sea life and collected shells as souvenirs.
All in all, everything was fantastic! The only downside of our trip was the 1800km trip back to Ontario! We miss the cottage and the ocean already!!

My friends and I were visiting from Ontario and stayed here for a week. Collectively, we were 4 adults and 2 kids (both around 2 years old). This is a great spot for kids and adults alike; beautiful scenery, spacious and well kept inside, and fantastic location. Our favourite thing about it was being about 50 feet from the ocean, and how when the tide is out, you can walk for a couple hundred yards on the sand. Very cool, and an ideal spot for little kids, as it creates a natural little splash pad where they can run around in forever. The host, Brian, was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

A Hidden Gem!
Our family had the absolute pleasure of staying at this beautiful Chalet for a week!
The hosts, Brian and Jacqui, went above and beyond in accommodating our needs and were both kind and helpful. I hope to be able to be able to meet them one day and treat them to a lobster dinner as a token of your heartfelt thanks.
The Chalet itself is a hidden gem on the south shore. The expansive deck provides a breathtaking view of the water (it's beachfront – nothing in the way to obstruct one’s view), sunrises and sunsets. If you enjoy beach-combing, you’ll love this beach at both low and high tide as you can walk for miles. We had a Bald Eagle land on the lawn, saw many Osprey’s, as well as countless other wildlife (foxes, birds, sea life, etc.). The water was warm like bathtub water. There’s a fire pit for evening S’mores, plenty of deck furniture to relax on and only steps to the beach/water. One of the features we really appreciated is the easy access to the beach – young and old could easily get to the beach and water.
The Chalet itself is lovely and boasts a main floor bedroom with patio doors to the deck. This is great if you have anyone with mobility challenges. There’re two full bathrooms (one adjoining the master bedroom upstairs) and another on the main level. There’s a seating area on the second floor affording a lovely view through the floor to ceiling windows. The Chalet was beautifully appointed with everything one could need.

Private Beauty
This was our second stay at this property in the same summer. A first for us that really says it all - we didn’t see anything else on the island that compares! It’s private, beautiful, spacious, clean, safe (no cliff, sandy beach) with unbelievable views all day with amazing sunsets that seem different every night. It’s one of the only places you’ll find where the pictures don’t do the reality justice. Brian and Jacqui are the perfect owners and we hope to be calling them again soon.

My family and I had a great week staying here. It is very quiet, couldn’t be closer to the water, and friendly neighbours surrounding the property. The kids had a great time kayaking and paddle boarding in the shallow waters at high tide (~5-6 ft deep out to about 600meters offshore). The owners were extremely friendly and easy to get hold of. We had one small issue with the wifi, and Brian was extremely attentive and worked with me to correct the issue quickly. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Beautiful quiet getaway
My family and I had a great week staying here. It is very quiet, couldn’t be closer to the water, and friendly neighbours surrounding the property. The kids had a great time kayaking and paddle boarding in the shallow waters at high tide (~5-6 ft deep out to about 600meters offshore). The owners were extremely friendly and easy to get hold of. We had one small issue with the wifi, and Brian was extremely attentive and worked with me to correct the issue quickly. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Best kept secret in PEI
We’re from PEI originally, and since moving away, we’ve returned every summer and have seen what we thought was the entire island. Until we found Brian and Jacqui’s oasis.
This rental experience was nothing short of amazing. The view, the house, the property, the deck and the privacy are nothing short of world class. Not to mention daily sightings of bald eagles, bunnies and foxes. Even wildlife knows how special this place is. It’s the kind of place that makes you rethink where you currently live (and how) in exchange for this exact property and lifestyle. Exactly how the owners described in their story. Both low and high tides provide an enormous, private playground for any age with sunsets that blow your mind.
No vacation rental works without great owners. We had incredible communication with Brian and Jacqui before, during (and hopefully after) our 18 day stay. Mainly to feedback real-life pictures that belong in magazines. We certainly plan on making this exact rental at 41 Camp Rd. our family base from now on when we return home for the summer if it doesn’t book up too fast!
Thanks again to Brian and Jacqui for sharing their home with us until they get to enjoy it for themselves. It’s been truly outstanding.
