Brian quickly responded to my question and was flexible with accommodations. House was clean and bedrooms were very spacious. Parking was okay, got lucky with a spot. Close to the convention center and that’s what we wanted.

Just as described!

Downstairs lovely. Bathroom upstairs needs adjustment. Kept running water we had to lift lid to fix so water wouldn't run. Upstair attic bedroom somewhat misleading and hard for seniors. Getting into property extremely hard. Key system stuck. 1 hour after many phone calls a neighbor helped us She said it was stuck. Thank goodness it wasn't dark or rainy

Communication with property managers was excellent. They responded very quickly. The house was very clean. I stayed at the home with 9 adults and was spacious enough for all of us. Parking was limited but we managed to find parking to accommodate 4 suvs. Quiet neighborhood. Only regret was not booking a day before the wedding we were attending. It would have been nice to have more time to spend in the home with my family. Highly recommend staying at this home.

House and rooms are much smaller than the pictures appear. It is an older home so we understand that part but air conditioning seemed to struggle. We had to leave for a family issue so we did not stay the night. Host was very quick to respond and very nice.

It is a nice place to stay. Clean, central and good accomodation. Parking was in a nearby carpark for 15 dollars a day, which was fine. Overall a pleasant experience. The children also loved the house.

The property suited our needs for 5 adults - was spacious, had everything that we needed, the mattresses were good for sleeping, and good A/C. It is in an OK neighborhood, but if you are not used to city life, parking was a bit frustrating and disconcerting (especially at night). We utilized a public parking ramp about a block away for one evening (out of 4) for the 3 vehicles that we had. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay and the hosts provided everything as described.

Would recommend. House was very clean and air conditioner worked well overall (twin bed room was a bit warm). Easy access to downtown - .6 miles from the Marriott where we needed to go. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Lancaster!

The manager was responsive and the apartment is large and roomy. The cleanliness was par and the location is not somewhere I would stay again. Did not feel safe.

We wanted to see shows at Dutch Apple Theater and Sight and Sound Theater but needed someplace close to each to stay. I found this gem of a home located between both. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed for the few days we were there. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of space. There were lots of places to eat and a CVS one block away for any toiletries we needed. Surprisingly the neighborhood was pretty quiet considering it was located in downtown Lancaster. We had no problem retrieving the key. We did have trouble connecting to the internet until we figured out that we were putting in the password incorrectly. Everything was great and we had no problems with anything during our stay. We hope to be able to stay here again when we come back for our next trip to the Lancaster area.

My party consisted of 3 ELDERLY people, my daughter and my granddaughter. The bedrooms were all on the second floor and in the attic. The stairs were very narrow, and did not have banisters on both sides. Only one bathroom. The room with two beds consisted of twin beds sitting very close to the floor. If my father “had been able” to get into the bed, he would never have been able to get out. My other friend walked with a walker…she was not able to get up the steps. We ended up moving to a hotel in a better part of town. Parking was “what you could find on the street.”

Property is great, location is great. The only complaint we had was there was alot of Marijuana smokers in area so we had to keep windows closed. Dear Owner, it would be nice to add a few basic items.
1. All bedrooms should have a mirror.
2. There was only 1 clock in house in the dinning room and it did not work. A clock in living room would be nice and alarm clocks in bedroom.
3. If house sleeps would be nice to have 8 chairs for dinning room so we could all eat together.
We will be renting again!!!

A lovely accommodations with plenty of room. The stairs were just a little treacherous. Nice walkable town.

Very comfortable. Parking wasn’t an issue at all, beds were comfortable, could have some powdered creamer for coffee, had to have help from contractor working outside nearby to get the door unlocked. Little tricky.

Was a nice place to stay. Hostess was very kind. Pretty well stocked kitchen. We stayed one night so never used anything in the kitchen. Had enough rooms and beds for 9 ppl/ 2 families. Had a pleasant night stay.

Nice townhouse, on street parking is the only downside of staying here, which we knew about before booking.

Short Getaway
We stayed 6/20-6/22 to celebrate father's day, a birthday and our son graduating Kindergarten. It was located in a neighborhood near many things, either by a small walk or a short drive. The furthest we drove our car was to The Hands On Museum and to Longs Park which were both 20 min or less. The home was clean upon our arrival and had everything we needed (dishsoap, toilet paper, towels, linens). It just had a distinct older home smell, but we got used to it. The home was pretty equal parts old charm and modern amenities - just be aware that the stairs are very creaky and noisy (again old home and expected). My son and I thought the beds were fine, but my husband found them to be too firm for his liking so that's something to keep in mind. I loved that we were able to bring our dog - we really only try to stay in homes where we can bring him - and it was well priced too. My biggest complaint is that the outside of the home (sidewalk/walkway) had a lot of trash. This is not the homeowners' fault but it definitely takes away from the curb appeal (to be fair, I am a country girl, so the 'city' life is not really my thing). I also think the flower box on the outside of the home should be repaired, mostly for safety reasons because nails were exposed, but also for curb appeal. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we will likely stay here again if we return to Lancaster. Thank you for opening up your home to folks.

The neighborhood was tricky to travel to and from, and parking was uncertain at times, but the townhome was welcoming, clean, and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen adequately supplied except for a need of more forks. The owners were great to work with.

First of all the hosts of this property are absolutely wonderful. E-mails are answered promptly and they are so welcoming and nice. The townhouse is lovely! We loved it. They have everything you need and the beds are extremely comfortable. The TV and internet speed are lightning fast! This location is SO convenient to everything. Parking was never a problem. There is a fabulous Greek restaurant next door. We spent our days and most evenings until about 7 pm with our Amish Family. We met them by chance in 1995. Although we get the real Amish experience - there are plenty of things to see and do. Brian’s place is convenient to all. May I suggest getting out of the commercial areas? Lancaster/Amish Country is beautiful to say the least. If you want to eat a wonderful buffet. - He Shady Maple in East Earl can’t be beat! Outlets galore in Strasburg/Paradise/etc. We had a wonderful visit and a wonderful stay. I want to say it is especially nice that Brian’s place is Pet Friendly and very cost friendly. This property is definitely five stars from us! You can’t go wrong! Two thumbs up from us!

I lovely small home with everything we needed for our family to come back to our hometown and visit. The only downside is lack of parking and having to park nearly a block away on a daily basis.

This was an extremely comfortable and cozy home. You can tell the owners went out of their way to ensure that it was comfortable. I do have one little teensy weensie small thing…the parking….and unfortunately this has no bearing on the property. It’s just one of those things due to the location. They do have parking in the back but trying to get to it is a struggle. Then once you find it, I was wondering if I would be towed. Once it was located, it was fine. But whew… other than that really nice. Oh and try the Shady Maple Smorgasbord!

House was clean, outside was not. Steps were littered with trash. (Enough that you had to step around it.) Not a good first impression. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Nice remodeled turn of the century home with some unique 'old house' features. Comfy and homey. Convenient walk to the stadium and many restaurants. Hosts are amazing and helpful. Would stay here again if I was in the area. My dog loved it too!
