Definitely worth a repeat visit

Was in St Augustine with my son and his GF while he played an amateur golf tournament. Property is in great spot and great inside renovations. Host communicated regularly to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything.
Festival of Lights is a must see also!
Highly recommend!

Property was clean and nice. There was an elevator. Balcony was nice overlooking the pool. The pool was heated. Plenty supplies, although tin foil and plastic wrap would be nice.

Ocean Villas was a fantastic property to stay at from the very beginning. The booking was so easy to do online. Communication was great and the unit exceeded our expectations.

Condo was perfect for our party of 6! Clean, well maintained, updated, and fun closet of beach supplies. Property managers were super helpful.
Property is a short drive to lots of food options and to the historical sites!

Fall break trip with the family. Condo was lovely. Plenty of room to spread out, well equipped kitchen, plenty of bath towels and beach towels. Two well-maintained pools. Nice short walk to the ocean. Responsive owner. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay with our 9 yr old grandson and daughter. The pools and beach provided the perfect beginning and/or end to a day of sightseeing. The condo is clean, updated and very comfortable for the 4 of us. David was always responsive if we had questions.
Highly recommend and hope to return some day!
(PS David, there IS an elevator at the far end of the building! :-)

First of all- Thanks for allowing my family and I to enjoy your condo. David, you were so attentive to any of our needs/questions. The condo was clean and comfortable. The location was superb.Only disappointment has to be the way too early checkout time of 10:00- David, PLEASE give us just 1 more hour of enjoyment before we have to travel back to reality🙏!!

Really enjoyed our trip, the condo was very nice and clean. Thank you for allowing us to spend time in your home❤️

We had a great time. It was super easy to move things from car to condo to beach…very user friendly ramps and sidewalks. The living room could have used more comfortable seating. What was there was comfortable but not enough for occupants of 3 bedrooms. Beach was fabulous!! No rocks, great for surfing!! It was incredibly hot so the pools were also incredibly hot. Having them be cooler would have been amazing but the pools were very nice. Having the utility closet was great!! Highly recommend if looking for a condo pretty darn close to the beach.

This condo was everything we were looking for. Close to the pool and beach, easy access to both. The unit is very spacious with everything you need for a vacation. The only drawback was the grilling area--wish they would update and add more grills as there is only one small charcoal grill. A great spot for all ages. We will absolutely be back!

Loved our time at the resort and the unit. Planning to return next year!

Family Fun was had by all at the Ocean Villas this July. Condo was clean and nice. Waves were a big plus for teen kids. Only issue was with laundry - no working dryer until day 4.

We had a great time here. The condo was updated, clean, and decorated cute. Loved the property itself with two pools and private boardwalk to the beach. The only minor inconvenience was only having two parking passes and having to park any additional cars offsite in public parking. The property management group was awesome to work with and very communicative and responded to inquiries very quickly. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was wonderful! Pools were amazing. One was heated. There was stuff to walk too close by, coffee, restaurant, etc. Condo was clean and had everything you could need. Make sure you ask for the gate code because we did not get that with check in instructions and that was a bit of a hiccup. Overall 5/5!

We had a great time. Condo was great, but could use some more towels. Close to historic St Augustine. Very clean and has everything you need. Will rent again !

The condo was clean and spacious. We were disappointed that the wall to the Lagoon was being rebuilt making it difficult to get to the pool. The pool water was very cold.
The stove has some damage but works ok. We had a fun time together with some vicious games of UNO with the grandchildren at night.

The property management team was quick to respond to a small problem, the condo was perfect and we would definitely come back again.

A great place to spend our family Christmas. On the beach and yet plenty close enough to the Night of Lights display in downtown St. Augustine.

Dirty floors, dirty area rugs and stained sheets. Master bed caves in the center and is terribly uncomfortable. I messaged manager about the dirty sheets the first evening of check-in and was told they would bring a clean set in the morning...

Great location, easy access and parking. Pools, while heated were a bit chilly for the kids but the ocean was wonderful. We enjoyed the beach chairs/toys. The house was clean, but needs some updates. Instead of the nice tan couch in the picture, there is an old brown couch, and the candles set out had ashes in them from previous guests. We hid those behind the TV. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and spent most of our time exploring the wonderful town and beaches.

Overall the unit was clean and as described on the listing. However the elevators were very old and not working most of the time in fact we were stuck in the elevator for over 20 minutes and had to have the fire department to come and rescue us. Would only advise you rent this property if you are OK using the stairs however someone in our party was not

The stay was nice and the communication with the property manger was great. However, the floors were very dirty and when you walked barefoot in the condo your feet would be black on the bottom. The refrigerator quit working the first night and we had to throw away dairy and meat products. This was an added cost and inconvenience of having to go back to the grocery store. The pool and grounds at the property were better than expected. Overall the stay was nice but had room for improvement.

I reported these issues yesterday under the “report issues” section of the app, but not sure if they were received. I wish I could give a 5 star review for this condo, but currently, there are some issues that need to be resolved.
On the plus side, this is a lovely condo, with nice sized rooms and a good location. The interior is decorated tastefully and the furniture inside is new and in good condition. The kitchen was well stocked with a variety of glassware, plates, utensils and cookware, as well as dry condiments. The beds were comfortable.and the rooms were clean. The bathrooms were stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The two pools were lovely, the beach boardwalk was great and the beach was beautiful. There are recycling receptacles by the trash dumpster. Parking was adequate and instructions for entry and parking were clear.
On the negative side: The ice maker did not work at all. The fan light in the dining room would flash on briefly and then turn off when the light was switched. That was a little scary. The sliding door in the living area would not lock. When we used the security bar to secure it, my five year old granddaughter demonstrated inadvertently that it opened anyway, as the security bar just telescoped and did not hold. So, even though we were on the second floor, this could be a security issue for keeping people out and children in. The porch was not clean. The furniture on it is serviceable, but definitely worn, and the wicker table needs to be discarded. The indoor/outdoor carpet on the porch should be removed/replaced or at the very least cleaned/vacuumed. There were ants all over the porch. I know this is Florida, but some ant baits are needed. There were wasp nests in the upper corners of the porch.
I cleaned the porch furniture when we got there with the dishrag in the sink, only to realize that there were no other dishrags, and only one dish towel and no scrubby, and no dish soap. There were only two dishwasher tabs and two garbage bags provided. Not really enough in my opinion. There were children’s handprints on the mirror on the back of the master bedroom door. The pillow provided in the queen bedroom was really not suitable for use sleeping. More towels should be provided, and it would be nice to have them displayed when guests arrive so that we didn’t have to hunt for them.
The boardwalk around the lagoon pool is in very bad condition, and could injure children especially with splinters or worse. I realize that the condo is trying to address that, as we saw a notice to the homeowners about it on the elevator. there was a locked door to a mechanical room near the elevator that had water flowing from under it. That made me wonder a little about the structural condition of the condo, when I added that to the weird electrical flashing of the fan light and the crumbling boardwalk.
The itrip excursions were nice, except that they were a little time consuming and clunky to use. Also, for four nights of stays, it would have been great to have four “credits” for free things that I could pair together. For instance, we took advantage of the one free adult trolley tour, but that was a great day to also do the pirate museum- but we could not combine the offers. So, we were able to use only two free items for four days. It felt a bit gimmicky to me.
I think the owners of this condo deserve a better review, but I am giving you an honest report because I think these things should be corrected. My daughter insisted that I let people know so they wouldn’t be surprised, and unfortunately, we will probably not return here due to these issues, although St. Augustine is a great place to visit with family. Sincerely, Susan Ritchie

We had the absolute BEST time at this condo. The place was fully loaded with anything you needed and perfect for our family of four (1yo and 4yo). The two pools kept our kiddos busy the whole time and being right on the beach with private access was just icing on the cake. Everyone in the community was so nice and it was a nice quiet stay. iExplorie was so accommodating and quickly responded to everything needed. We called about using our complimentary one free ticket to the alligator arm and he had it sent to us within minutes. Saved us $35!! We can’t say anything g negative about our stay and we will certainly be back.

A Mixed Bag
Property was as advertised, although a bit smaller than we expected & dated. Many nice features, though bathrooms are small with very limited counter space. Loved the balcony, although it was rather dirty. Biggest disappointment was that the pool was closed for 2-1/2 days of the 6 we were there. Caused the other pool to be overcrowded (managed to "borrow" one chair for our party of four) - & we went early in the day. (I realize that is out of the owner's control - but it was disappointing.)

Perfect stay in St. Augustine Beach
This is a well appointed, clean and spacious property. My husband and I stayed with our two young adult children who each brought a guest. Both pools were lovely, but we preferred the one closer to the beach. The beach is magnificent! Clean, not crowded with terrific water temps. Loved the historic areas (10 minute drive) but were also very happy with restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, grocery stores, etc. right on the A1A Beach Blvd. strip. This was our first stay in St. Augustine Beach - we will be back!

Enjoyed
Our party of 4 adults and two children enjoyed our week in this unit. Bldg has an elevator. Situated between the two pools and easy walk to the beach. Unit is fully stocked. Couch is a good size for our group. Grocery store a couple minutes away. Host has check on us to make sure all is well. Overall very pleased with our stay.

Great place to stay for a quick get away. Just what we were expecting. Condo was clean and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The only drawback was the kitchen table. It was too large for the space and difficult to fit around. Definitely not conducive to at home dining.

I came with my book club for a relaxing weekend of reading and sunshine. Check in was a breeze. The location was perfect. Easy access to the beach and only 15 mins away from all the restaurants and shops. The condo was pretty clean but I do feel that the linens could use some updating. The towels were pretty dingy and some had stains, like they were really old. The bedding also didn’t look great. But the couch was comfy and perfect for all 5 of us to sit and chat. We also enjoyed breakfast on the patio every morning. I think a small group or family could really enjoy themselves in this condo.
