We enjoyed our 3 night stay worth the price other than the cleanliness of It.

It has everything we needed extra toilet paper dishes etc. everything is near by super convenient. Beds were very comfortable overall enjoyed our stay here.

It’s needs a bit more cleaning after every guests. We couldn’t find the remote for the tv downstairs in the process of looking for it we checked under the bed and there were someone else’s underwear and a lot of trash. Carpet could be replaced and new comforters they looked old and had a couple stains. Mostly work on the cleaning.

Overall, definitely worth booking! Beware of the hidden, crazy expensive cleaning fee.

Location is amazing, the building is amazing, old world and gorgeous. I was traveling with two toddlers and loved that there was a gated back area with grass so that they could play. walking distance to Liberty Park, and about 15 minutes away from everything you'd want to see/visit. The kitchen is fully stocked and the toiletries in the bathrooms/showers were very thoughtful. There's a washer and dryer which was a godsend!

I didn't like the crazy high cleaning fee ($140!) that was not included in the booking price. Some small things that were off-putting were: no extra blankets/comforters but plenty of extra sheets and towels. Also, almost every single light bulb in the downstairs area was burnt out - including the lamps. A light fixture in the closet downstairs was also hanging from the ceiling from the wires. Some of the bedding (comforter and pillow cases) were torn/damaged.

great location, all you need apartment for one or two people

the apartment is very well equipped and has plenty of supplies for doing the laundry and the dishes or taking a shower. It's very close to the park which is ideal for running. It is very quiet during the night time

You can hear the neighbors but the neighbors were luckily not loud

Not impressed, needs a lot of TLC

had a kitchen and laundry room

smelled moldy, single pane windows, some windows didn’t open or windows that did open did not have screens, front door had gaps that seeds from tree blew in under door, smoke alarm in laundry room and kitchen inoperative, some of lights burnt out, upstairs glass shower door didn’t stay closed had to use shampoo bottle to hold glass door closed when taking a shower, bathroom matts dirty, dust in glass light fixture fan, walls not insulated could hear everything from first apartment attached to our unit,etc.

Good

Place was clean cleaning staff was nice. Land lord was nice and accommodating. The fridge didnt work. I still have not received my deposit back and we left the place clean with the exception of the linens.

We liked the fact that one room was upstairs and the other was downstairs. It was set up like 2 apartments

perfect location for downtown touring

location was amazing!! beds comfortable, heater worked great!

dishes were dirty in the cabinet, could hear other unit noise, sound bar to tv wasnt hooked up!

Very good

Rented the whole house. Loved the location! Very close to downtown, and also a short walk to a nice local park. The house is split up into three (3) separate units, and none are accessible to each other from the inside. Some of the people in my group like to stay up later than others, so it was quite convenient to have our own respective areas.

Seemed like the property could use a little more attention when cleaning/prepping for the next renters. I stayed in unit #2, and the cups/plates/utensils weren't the cleanest. Also had some table lamps missing light bulbs. The front door lock for unit #1 wasn't working from the outside (probably just a dead battery), and we had to look for bath towels. Found some in a few of the dryers, but didn't really see a proportional amount of wash cloths. The separate units were nice, but when all of us wanted to hang out together we'd have to congregate in a single unit (#1 being the largest). Driveway was also a little narrow at the street, but not sure if anything can be done about that!

Would stay again; need to resolve temp issue.

Apartment- comfy stay for family of 3. good location, comfortable beds, decently appointed kitchen, host was very responsive and accommodating for late night arrival and last minute booking.

temperature was inconsistent- cold in basement while very hot upstairs. Some of the dishes were greasy and needed to be Re washed; could use some things like foil in kitchen, maybe games, heard some early AM noise from other apt.

Family Visit SLC!

The apartment was very clean,comfortable and cute! Loved the TV, shower,laundry, and bed was great. Perfect location could not ask for a better place to stay.

Great location, extremely uncomfortable pull out sofa

We stayed at apartment #3. New appliances, clean and well equipped kitchen, beautiful decor. Quiet neighborhood.

We slept on the pull out sofa bed that was extremely uncomfortable to the point that we had to borrow an air mattress for the second night. If someone charges top dollar for a night at least make sure that the guests are comfortable. We were also cold because there weren't enough blankets for all of us and some of the blankets were old and dirty.

great location for Salt Lake City Centre.

It was in a very good location and we didn’t hear any road noise. The bed was comfy and the wifi was very fast. It had all the facilities that we needed except for a tin opener. There was a barbecue outside for cooking the steaks on. The supermarket is within walking distance if you wanted to walk and it only cost $8.00 to get into the city centre with an Uber. Plus there is a bus stop right out the front of the house. The shower was good and big and it had a washing machine. It had very good air conditioning, but the outdoor units are right outside the bedroom window so you might need your ear plugs at night.

Overall I had a good start at three 8th Street Apts?

The apartment has a good layout, has a washer-dryer, is located close to several cafes, and there's artisian well water right across the street.

The air conditioning is located right outside the bedroom window, and that could be a problem for light sleepers.

Cozy, clean

The apartment was very comfortable. It was nicely renovated. Also, the AC worked fine. We found the controls and set it to a nice 72° for our stay. I guess others don’t realize how to do this. There was a lot of room for our toddlers to play(they ALSO supplied a gate for the stairs!!!) and the back yard was nice as well. We always stay in hotels and found that this was a lot nicer. It gave our kids and us all the privacy we needed. We really loved this place and could’ve stayed a lot longer if we would’ve had the time. It was a cute and very accommodating place and the spring across the street was very neat. There’s lots of dining nearby and we ordered Cheesecake Factory through Grubhub and it took barely an hour at their busy time. We felt safe and it remained mostly quiet(as quiet as the city can be). We found cleaning supplies and trash bags just fine under the kitchen sink. We took our own trash out to the designated outdoor cans. Monday all the outdoor bins were on the road for disposal. The internet was available but I did not realize it, my 16 yr old son found it. They had Netflix, Disney, Hulu. Maybe more, those are all I tried. We were please with this place and would suggest it to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay while enjoying the city.

The ONLY complaints we had with this place(which are not deal breakers) were that we found a few spiders in the basement. The basement was a tad tilted so the drawer in the bed kept coming out and the shower door to the bathroom in the basement wouldn’t close. (We just put a hand towel in both and that did the trick). The other downside was the toilet in the basement would leave a bad odor AFTER being flushed. It lingered a couple minutes but didn’t take away from any of the positive. Non of these things did.

Great time

Perfect location in the middle of downtown salt lake. Easy access. Nice facility. Great staff to work with. They even had my favorite shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

Shower and hot water were great. It was clean, just missing a few accessories for bedding.

Missing sheets for the couch pull out (a single fitted sheet was in the closet, there was no flat sheet, pillow case, or duvet cover, so had to sleep with an uncovered comforter. The mattress pad was also both stained and soiled. The bathroom sink did not have a working plug, it was missing the metal clip that attaches the pull to the plug so it had to be manually opened and closed from behind the bottom of the sink. Also there were only 2 bath towels provided and the towel rack was so low that the towels hit the back of the toilet. There were no instructions on where to put the trash, so we filled up the trash can and had a little overflow. If we had stayed another night it would have been a real issue.

Location, location, location!!

This property is in a PHENOMENAL location! There is a delicious little bagel shop right across the street. Literally a block away is a Bean and Brew coffee shop, a huge park, and multiple restaurants around the perimeter of the park. There is a Whole Foods about .5 miles away. Just a great location!

So, this wasn’t a problem for me but the parking consists of a driveway that is only wide enough for cars to park in a single line. So, there is no way to get the front car out without moving the rear cars.
