The entire staff was phenomenal and extremely accommodating. When I called to explain an issue, Win and Kathryn quickly responded with a solution. Jessica and Cynthia were amazing and very friendly as well! I will be returning to stay again. I love this place!
I wish there were room service.

Upstairs bar was okay but the process to get up there was miserable.
The rude front desk. It seemed as though no one working there understood they worked at a hotel. When I called for an extra blanket it took four hours to get one, and when I asked for hot water to make tea they told me it was impossible to get any. I would have ordered tea, but the older front desk woman became irate when I had instacarted a small carry on and didn’t want to get barked at for ordering postmates.

staff at front desk and hostess at rooftop bar not very attentive or helpful. we took the normal lift to rooftop and the thin female hostess slammed the door in our faces after we innocently knocked to get in. Welcome to Memphis :-)

The facilities are very nice . rooms clean and quiet- although no bathtubs. close to the areas I needed to be in . gym is nice.
the staff was not especially helpful. requests for extra coffee pods took 3 calls to accomplish. room was cleaned halfway- only some items attended to. no food options unless you use the restaurant- no room service, in room bar, or even soda/snack machine, I was referred down the street to a gas station at 10 pm to get a soda or snack. few in room amenities. great facility but service was lacking. service not matching up to facilities.

The aesthetic of the hotel is top tier. Plenty of beautiful selfies. Amazing breakfast and kitchen staff. I was upgraded to a suite because after having my sheets changed there was still hair on them. Jasmine upgraded my room and apologized. She ensured the rest of the stay went amazing. The entire kitchen staff was so nice ! The other guests were amazing. the music was so pretty and the Christmas spirit was everywhere! aside from those beginning hiccups the stay was nice. Had Jasmine not been there I would have left. Also a member of the housecleaning who came to change the sheets the first time was so nice ! she listened and changed the sheets without any questions, unfortunately they still had hair on them.
Originally I booked a room with two queen beds. there was long and short hair all over one bed and makeup on the pillow case and short hair all over the second bed. One member of the staff was extremely rude but I reported her to higher management and Jasmine was amazing ! (See above for the good stuff)

We had a nice breakfast there.
Staff was non-responsive. I left an air pod in the room when I checked out at 5am. at 10 am I called from the airport to ask if they would look for it for me. the operator said that he would tell the manager and she would get back to me about this. No response. the next week I called and talked again to he operator. He again said that they would have the manager call me. no response. I called a third time and asked about my air pod and again the operator appolgize for my troubles and promised me that the manager would call me to tell me something about the air pod. This time I did receive a call from the hotel but missed it. They did not leave a message and when I called back within 10 minutes of the call the front desk said that they did not know who called me and asked around but no-one knew anything about the call. No one ever called back. I have given up.

I was a little surprised at the prices for breakfast until the plates arrived. Giant portions! Absolutely amazing food. In the end, I would gladly pay again for what we ate. Rooftop bar is a great place to grab a drink.
I can’t think of anything. Expectations exceeded.

The Memphian is a brand new hotel in the midtown are of Memphis across the street from Overton Square (an area robust with restaurants and stores). The interior is beautifully done in a pop contemporary style that is fun and so creative. The midtown area is accessible to all areas of Memphis and parking is in a secure lot adjacent to the hotel.

I absolutely loved the decor of the hotel! Tiger and Peacock is now my new fav spot for drinks and girl talk with friends.! I love it!
Somehow, I ended up on the tiger and peacock floor before opening hours. When the elevator opened I was shocked by the beauty of the decor. a white female who in the restaurant at the time looked at me as if I stunk and stated very rudely that "The restaurant isnt open yet". So, I asked her how to I book a table. Again, very rudely said "Open table". I just turned around and left out, She was very rude.. Other than that, the room we stayed in and the ambiance of the hotel was nice. Front desk staff was super amazing as well as housekeeping; super nice!

Excellent location in Midtown; local dining within walking distance from hotel a plus. Next to public parking garage a bonus. Coffee refills much appreciated.
