Nestled in Kennebunkport, this attractive house for £556 per night is a great option for your next break. With the charming village of Kennebunkport just half a mile down the road, you'll be able to walk to an assortment of wonderful restaurants, shops, galleries, and lobster shacks from this classic, comfortable home. As you ride your bikes back from the beach each afternoon, you'll be greeted by a glassed-in sun porch that's perfect for reading, playing card games, or simply enjoying the view of the surrounding neighborhood. Inside, the living room, dining room, and kitchen come together in a light-filled space with hardwood floors, lovely wainscoting, and a built-in window seat. There's a gas fireplace to toast your toes as you watch the wall-mounted flatscreen TV (one of three in the house), space to dine at both the circular dining table and the two-person peninsula breakfast bar, and a separate study just off the kitchen that houses another flatscreen TV and the sofabed. There's a gas grill on the patio, a firepit for evening s'mores, and free WiFi to complement the cozy workspace in one of the upstairs bedrooms. What's nearby: This piece of property backs up to a tidal marsh and river, allowing you a view of the water from the upstairs when the tide is fully in. The house is also immediately west of downtown Kennebunkport's many darling restaurants, eateries, and shops, with the heart of the village easily accessed by walking, riding your bike, or driving just half a mile down Western Avenue. Beach-goers can take their pick of Mothers Beach (one mile south) and Gooch's Beach (just over a mile south), and golfers can tee off at the Webhannet Golf Club only one mile southwest. Things to know: Full kitchen One dog is welcome (pit bulls, pit bull mixes, Doberman Pinschers, German shepherds, and Rottweilers are not allowed) Please use your own streaming accounts * Please note that landscaping takes place on Mondays and Tuesdays. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. No more dogs are allowed. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The Cottage was in a great location to town, very clean and very comfortable. Stocked with all the kitchen equipment. We wish there were comfortable Adirondack chairs or rockers to enjoy the backyard.

This house was on the main road on the edge of Kennebunkport making it easy to walk to town and enjoy all that the town offers without having to figure out parking. The house was clean and in the lovely condition it appears online. We had 1 mix up with a bed needing sheets but with a quick text was immediately rectified. Great house, great location. We didn’t cook because of all the great restaurants but the kitchen is fully stocked. Wonderful place!!

This property advertises a Queen bed in the second bedroom, but it is only a Full size and it is in poor condition. We would not have booked this property had we known the true make-up of the beds.

We had a great time in Kennebunk. The home was immaculate, super cute, and very roomy and comfortable. This spot was very conveniently located near great dining and shopping, but was also central enough to see many of the local towns on the coast with just a short drive.

Lovely well equipped home walking distance from restaurants, shopping, docks, etc. The cottage is updated with large bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms. We picked a bad week to be there and did not realize there's no A/C. The exterior lock is a real challenge and super frustrating (it consistently times out before the 10 digit code can be entered). The cottage sits on a busy road with a narrow drive and no place to turn around. I'm sure it's not an issue in the off season. Overall, we appreciated the cottages but will likely not book again for the reasons noted.

We arrived it was oppressive heat with all windows shut. The stench from the swamp the property is on was overwhelming. To open the windows you could taste it, running fans did not offer relief. We went out and purchased 4 additional fans. I contact Vacasa the first time at 1:30am when we could not get relief from the smell or the heat. We were told there would be a service tech arriving Monday. I contacted them by phone and e-mail over the next three days and each day I was assured someone would come and check on the property. No one came. The surround property neighbors (I can provide their names and contact info) claim the stench is prevelant everyday throughout the summer months and more so in the heat. We had accommodations with bugs running around on the sinks and there is not sleeping for 6. I have photos of that 3rd bed which was not a bed it was a PAD not a mattress, and it sat in the swamp the window was directly on the first floor over the smelliest part of the property. The property is a health hazard and the management company did not honor the service agreement. We request the refund we deserve and will proceed with legal steps if necessary. Outrageous as it is all documented in the messages as well as the 4 calls that I spent a minimum of 30-50 minutes a day.

Very nice home for our group of 6. Cozy backyard patio area. House has plenty of space for group of 6 or less. No AC, but plenty of fans in the house to stay cool. Would definitely look to rent again next time we are in Kennebunkport!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was clean, equipped with everything you might need and close proximity to Dock Square which is a huge plus. If you wanted to, you could walk to Dock Square which is great because parking can be limited, especially during the peak months of summer. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Great house for 4-6 adults planning to enjoy downtown Kennebunk and surrounding areas. Comfortable walking distance to downtown and basically across the street from a hidden gem, Wandby Landing. The food, ambiance, drinks, and service were shockingly good and somewhat upscale. We loved it so much for apps and drinks on our first night that we went back for full dinner the next. Friendly staff and a welcoming environment. At the house, the fire pit was a nice amenity and there were ample towels, sheets, pillow, TP & paper towel. Everything you need for a great weekend away!

Excellent home and location. Super clean. But the check-in process was not ideal. There is a lockbox to open the first door and an electronic keypad to open the second door. We were never given the first code to open the lockbox. After I had to call and get the code for the lockbox, the code for the second door was wrong and did not work. We had to call back and they couldn't fix it. We ended up using the key to enter a different door. But once inside, the house was great.

My friend and I were looking to get away for a few days and were lucky enough to stumble upon this VRBO just a few months before visiting. The location is solid! The interior is exactly as the pictures display. My cousins came down the first night and enjoyed themselves....I'd love to go back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the quaint bungalow! The house was super clean upon arrival and super cozy for a fall weekend in Maine. It was located in a great area of town, a beautiful and easy walk to both the beach and the town. The listing does mention that it’s on a marsh, which is one of the reasons why we booked this place thinking it would be fun to go to with our little one. Unfortunately you have to cross their neighbors property to get there so you can only see it slightly from the bedroom window which we were bummed about. Also, the kitchen is not super well equipped for cooking or cleaning. They left one countertop wipe and one small garbage bag per day and the knives are very dull if you want to cook a meal. These are just a few minor things, but worth mentioning. We would definitely rent again, but just come a little more prepared :)

We had not yet visited Kennebunk so wanted to find a place that would allow our dog as well as being close to the beach. This home was very clean and nicely decorated. Loved the window seat and front porch, the extra space was wonderful! We were able to walk our dog down to the beach for her first Maine Ocean trip and she loved it!
We Appreciated the location in regards to Dock Square, it was so nice having just a short walk to restaurants and shops!
