Great trip - very friendly kitten by the pool! The pool is perfect good size and relaxing place to spend time.

Loved the pool. Everything was very clean.

I hadn’t checked the listing properly and there was no kettle in the rooms. It didn’t matter as reception is 24hrs and there is a bakery next door.

Good value :)

The staff and owners were really, really helpful and nice, we felt really taken care of. Pool was nice, the room was clean and totally sufficient for our weekend trip

The walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbours beneath and above. Every Time our above neighbour flushed, showered or used the sink, it sounded like the water was directly pouring on our rooms ceiling.

Clean, quiet, lovely place within walking distance of Chora

Close to Chora, nice coffee shops a short walk away, quiet, clean, close to a bus stop, everything is very convenient, the studio is huge, there are cooking facilities, the family is lovely.

As other guests mentioned, the mattress/bed is quite hard and uncomfortable but it's a minor issue considering all the plus points of this property.

An exceptional place, exceptional service and exceptional hospitality. We will be back in the future

The price was great for the room and quality of stay. Soap is provided, and you get fresh sheets and towels each day. Great AC in the room and a nice balcony. The pool was great after hot days, especially after hiking from Fira to Oia. The shuttle to and from the airport is great (20€ each way for 2 people). Can’t recommend this place enough!

It’s a bit of a walk to get to Fira, just about a mile total to get to the center of town, but it is an easy walk. The shower is a bit tight, but it doesn’t have to be elegant, just needs to get you clean.

Exceptional

The room was extremely comfortable and it was lovely to come back every day to find my room meticulously cleaned. The hotel is a family business, and the owner and his sons take pains to make sure everything is great. It's just a 15 min walk to Thera, and surrounded by places to eat or get a great coffee. I couldn't have asked for better accommodation in Santorini.

There's nothing I didn't like. The only criticism I can say is in the description it says free transport to the airport, but also says it's not free. The bus is close and costs 1.60 euro, so it wasn't a problem for me.

facilities are clean, staffs are friendly, hospitable and always smiling. The property is situated near to bus stops and walking distance to Fira. They provide free transport pick up and return to the airport.

Superb

The owners of the hotel were very very helpful. The location is relatively close to the Karterados bus stop. It is clean.

Wish there was a kettle in the room and some coffee making facilities.

A very pleasant stay, the Babis family are lovely hosts

The experience at Babis hotel was just amazing. The price for accommodation is affordable for students compared to most other places in Santorini. The Babis family, who is running the hotel is lovely. They are very welcoming and they really have a good service. The hotel is located in a more calm area, but one of the most beautiful and busy places in Santorini is only 10 minutes away from the hotel. The pool area was nice and a good place to unwind a bit. All in all a pleasant and cosy stay. Would recommend them to my friends!

The location is good, 15 mins by foot to Fira city. The Bus station is 5 mins by foot.The hostess gave us a very warm welcome on the first day, and introduced us the places of interests and their locations in Santorini. Our room is amazing, its a room with see view, also has nice balcony that we can overview the Fira city. The Swimming pool is extremely cool, my son loves it and had a lot of fun there. They even provide a free transfer to the airport for our departure. Really a super nice Hotel!

Great, highly recommend.

Really enjoyed my stay. Everything was really clean including the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s only a two minute walk to bus stops and quad bike/scooter rental, making it very easy to get around.

It wasn’t a major issue, but I couldn’t find any convenient wall sockets in the room. The one near the bed didn’t work, plugs just fell out of it, and the other one was high up on the wall right by the door so there was nowhere to rest the devices you were charging. Room 208.

Great staff and value

This is a family hotel. The owner is always there to help you. They love their business and their customers. They make the room on daily basis and it is clean. The pool is also very clean and there are chairs enough for everyone. Balcon is a plus. Breakfast is sized and served individually. Simple and enough to start the day if you are not hungry in the morning. They sell tickets for the main attractions at very reasonable prices and they can even include the transfer for free. I came from the Port and there was no shuttle but it is very easy and cheap to take the bus. The bus stop is about 150m away from the hotel. They gave me a free transfer to the airport at 7am. As said before the ataff is there to help you.

There was an issue regarding an insect in the room that they took prompt action to remove it but I am sure it was an uncommon problem. The way to the city center has no side walk for about 50m and you need to share the busy road with the vehicles. You must hold the shower bath with one hand because there is no holder on the wall. Some renovation would be great, but not a must.

Cheap option in good location with kind staff

- kind hotel staff - close to the bus stop in Karterados, 12min walk to Fira - warm bread served for breakfast

- small room - breakfast could be a little bit bigger - no sun umbrellas in swimming pool's area

Just amazing.

One of the best hotels I ever been. The room was big, with a nice view, refrigerator, air conditioner, tv and a great bathroom. The pool is amazing. The hotel is closed to Fira and you can reach every point of the island very easy with a rental vehicle or a the public bus. The owners are just great. They helped me to rent a car for only 45 euros per day (no deposit needed) and they offered to help me book a boat trip. Also they offer free transportation to the airport in the day of the departure. In the last day after check out they can keep your luggage and they allowed you to spend the remaining day at the pool or you can go visit the island (they provide you with shower and towels before of the departure at the airport). In one word: Great!

Affordable hotel, good swimming pool, not good staff

I liked a good swimming pool, the guy took my luggage, the return transfer is free, but be careful, the transfer TO the hotel is NOT free.

1)I didn’t like the fact I ordered specifically double room and I was given the worse twin room with 2 beds, it was close to the bar, a lot of noise in the hallway, so basically each guest passes my room and you can hear everything. The fact that I told the owner that I selected a double room specifically, he said nothing he can do, like terrible attitude. 2) really bad shower that didn’t work at all, it’s stuck and the water doesn’t go down. On top of that there is NO hanger of the shower, look at the photo, so you can’t take a shower properly in such a heat of 37 degrees. it’s essential to have a good shower.
