About this condo rental

Situated in Genoa, this attractive condo for £120 per night is a great choice for your next break. In the heart of the residential neighbourhood of Carignano, our Carignano Design Apartment is located five minutes walking from the center of Genoa. The apartment is modern, completely renovated and finely furnished. It is composed of a spacious living room with a fully equipped open space kitchen, a dining table, a TV area and sofa bed, 2 bedrooms, (with single beds that can be joined on request) and two bathrooms. The apartment is located on the second floor of a quite modern building with lift and it is perfect for families, business travellers and groups of friends. We also offer to our guests truly authentic experiences to live like a local. Genoa, well-known port city and capital of Liguria region, is historically known for its important role in maritime trade over the past centuries. Known as one of the most extensive medieval historical centers in Europe, the heart of Genoa is a maze of alleys that unexpectedly open up into small squares, often related, like the churches overlooking them, to important noble families. The spirit of Genoa lies in the alleys, where different smells, tastes, languages ​​and cultures perfectly blend in. In the historical center is the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, in Romanesque style with a black and white striped façade and frescoed interiors. Narrow streets lead to monumental squares such as the Piazza de Ferrari, with its characteristic bronze fountain, and the Carlo Felice opera house. The Genoa aquarium, the largest in Europe, is unmissable and iconic. The exhibition itinerary shows more than 70 environments and about 12,000 specimens of 600 species, coming from all the seas of the world. An unforgettable experience for young and old, which will fill your heart with emotions and a deeper respect for the sea and its extraordinary inhabitants. Not to be missed is Genoa’s culinary tradition, with its iconic basil pesto, famous all over the world, and the “focaccia”, which can be either salted and topped with olives, onion and tomato, or even sweet and stuffed.

Die Wohnung ist schön und ist in einer zentralen, aber in einer sehr ruhigen und gepflegten Gegend gelegen. Hafen und Innenstadt sind fußläufig erreichbar. Alle Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs, aber auch eine sehr gute Pizzaria und tolle Cafés befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die ligurische Region. Leider gibt es keinen Stellplatz für ein PkW (der reservierte Stellplatz ist offenbar für die Dienstleister des Vermieters reserviert, war aber überwiegend frei ). Öffentliche kostenpflichtige Stellplätze sind jedoch vorhanden. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend war Luca, der die Wohnungsübergabe machte und uns mit Tipps aller Art stets behilflich war! Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Die Wohnung liegt zentral in einer der besten Gegenden von Genua. Fußläufig sind schon einige gute Restaurants/Cafes/Bars zu erreichen, ebenso die nächste Bushaltestelle. Das nächste Parkhaus ist ebenfalls nur 250m entfernt. Für uns der perfekte Punkt um die ligurische Küste mit dem Auto zu bereisen und den Abend in Genua ausklingen zu lassen.
