We had a fabulous time staying at barkin at the moon. The kids did not want to leave. When rain set in the pool and arcade area was perfect to keep the little ones entertained. It is so close to all area attractions yet secluded away. We would highly recommend staying here and will do so again.

The cabin is extremely clean, well laid out and well stocked with all of the essentials. The pool was a huge hit with the kids. Communication with Jaime was perfect! We will stay here again!

Had a wonderful time at the house. The house was beautiful and decorated beautiful. The Christmas touches was nice to see since it was our Christmas vacation. They had snacks for humans and treats for dogs which was the best touch

Everything was great when we arrived, check-in was easy. Kids loved the pool, and air hockey . The cabin is close to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Thankyou Jamie for allowing our family to have a wonderful Thanksgiving

I stayed here for 10 days and I wish I could have stayed longer. The cabin was so beautiful and peaceful. It was also MUCH closer to everything than I thought when I booked it. Only took a few minutes to get to most things in Pigeon Forge but was also secluded enough to be quiet and relaxing.
I loved every minute I was there. I definitely want to book again.

It was the best! The cabin was very clean and cozy. The views from the balcony were spectacular. Jamie was quick to respond to any questions we had. The pool was loved by all. If we could give 100 stars, we would. They made our family vacation the best ever!!

We had the best week staying at your cabin! Very clean and organized! Loved the pool/hot tub, sitting out on the decks watching nature, playing board games, spending time as a family. Driveway was intimidating at first but then got used to it. Would love to come back and recommend for sure to anyone!

Beautiful cabin in a fantastic area. Well stocked with everything you need for a family getaway. We loved the air hockey, outdoor decks and gaming console!! Pool is nice….unfortunately we never got the hot tub to fully heat:(.

This property was amazing! It was beautiful, clean and peaceful. There is additional parking at the bottom of the driveway if needed. The driveway a steep but manageable without snow.
The property owners were very nice and communicated perfectly. Our whole family enjoyed our stay very much.

Immaculately kept,an architectural gem. Was close to everything we wanted to do. Lots of fun for families. The pool and hot tub were pristine and so much fun. Hosts were super communicative. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We were excited to see a bear when we first pulled up on top of the hill. We also saw deer up the trail. Property Manager was easy to reach and addressed questions promptly. Excellent communication. Pool was great. Thank you!

We stayed at Barking at the Moon for our family vacation. The cabin was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the deck. The game area and pool area was fun and relaxing after a day out exploring the area.

This was my first experience with renting a cabin for the family and it was the best.
The cabin was clean and the amenities were awesome. My auntie loved the jacuzzi and my granddaughters and daughter could not stay out of pool. My husband loved the game room.
We all enjoyed the experience of the mountains and the beauty of nature. All of our individual needs were met. The beds were comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked with the essentials for meal preparation. The bathrooms were fully stocked with soap, bath towels, shampoo, tissue. I additional my furry baby,(dog) was allowed to vacation with the family. I would definitely recommend this cabin for your next vacation with the family. I planned to return during the summer season and have shared the link with my friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay at Barkin’ At The Moon. The cabin is beautiful, with comfortable furniture and beds. We thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool. The location was very convenient and close to Pigeon Forge attractions. Key for us was that the cabin was very welcoming to dogs and our dog enjoyed the vacation with his family. We would love to return here in the future and can’t recommend this cabin highly enough.

Nice cabin with a resort type feel. We traveled with our three children (newborn to five), the grandparents and pups. The cabin was clean and the owners were very responsive. There was a welcome basket, soaps in the bathroom, as well as amenities such as a pack-n-play, dog crates, etc. which came in good use for us. We were nervous to have the kids sleep in the loft (they could stand on the bed and fall over the rail), so we actually slid the mattress into the corner of the bedroom and all stayed in one room (grandparents in the other bedroom). Also, within 10 minutes of the grocery and close to Dollywood, etc.
Small drawbacks would be little to no grass for the dogs, but it appears they are trying to grow some and our dogs had no issues. A portion of the road near the cabin is single lane and we had to stop once and back up a ways, so a car could pass (go slow and beep around corners to avoid accidents). Lastly, the driveway is steep and parking could be tight if both cabins are full. I would not stay in the winter as I would be worried about getting up and down.

We absolutely loved the stay. It was very homey, super clean and close to everything and still feel like your in the mountains. The check in process along with communication with the owners was wonderful and they was always quick to respond if we needed anything. They had all the cute dog friendly stuff you would need to even make them feel comfortable. We absolutely loved it there and would definitely go back!

This cabin was amazing. The owners were extremely thoughtful! I brought my dog with me and they made it super comfortable for me and him with dog treats a spot to feed and give him water and a extra dog bed. If your looking for your next cabin adventure I highly recommend this location!

This was such a great home to stay in! So quiet, but still close to all of the "action". Extremely clean, and the owners thought of everything- things like extra trash bags, dishwasher and laundry pods, a big basket of snacks (the kids loved those after the long drive from NJ!), and even a dog bed, leashes, and dog shampoo! Having the indoor pool and hot tub were great. And our 12 year old actually got off his iPad games to play air hockey :-) Would definitely recommend this house for a nice relaxing family trip!!

Absolutely fantastic! The cabin came as advertised and didn’t disappoint for our family. Kids loved the pool, arcade, and air hockey. Very pet friendly too, dog dishes, leashes, treats. Kitchen and grill had everything we needed for meals. Don’t let the steep driveway intimidate you, it’s a gem once you climb the hill.

Great location, close proximity to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Cabin was new and very clean!!! It was well stocked with everything you would need. Beds were comfy, there were TVs in every room which was nice. The basement was a great game room for the kids and the pool/hot tub were perfect. It was nice having the hot tub connected to the pool! The place was also quiet and private. I would definitely recommend this place. I had to work all week and was worried how the internet would be, but it was reliable with no issues. Owners were very accommodating and always quick to get back to us. There was a very steep driveway to get up to the cabin, but after once or twice, we got the hang of it. I would definitely recommend this place!

My family enjoyed our long weekend stay at Barkin’ at the Moon. Our boys absolutely loved the pool and hardly ever wanted to do anything else! We also brought our 2 dogs, and we’re blown away by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail for guests traveling with pets (doggie bed, extra large crate, even little dog treats!) There is a nice dog park about 10 minutes away that our dogs enjoyed daily.
Due to misuse from some previous renters, we had an issue with the arcade system and the septic system while we were there. However, the owners were incredibly responsive and got a plumber out within hours. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits!

Wow! What an amazing cabin! We have stayed in dozens upon dozens of cabins and this is by far the best experience we’ve ever had. Jamie was in contact with us before we even left the house to make sure our check-in process was as simple as possible. When we arrived I was blown away with everything they thought of to make our stay as homie as possible even for the dogs. This cabin was cleaner than any fancy hotel we’ve ever stayed at even. The goodie basket full of snack for kids and adults and the basket for dogs was such a treat. They have a top of the line Ninja coffee make with tons of kcups to choose from that has now made us want to purchase one. All the beds were like sleeping on a cloud! Jamie was a delight the entire time and made sure we had the best time. I could go on and on but Barkin’ at the Moon is definitely going to be a staple in our family vacations from now on. Thank you for giving our family such a memorable time. We can’t wait to come back!

The host is a dream to work with! Very quick to respond with any questions or concerns. The cabin is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need for yourself or your pup! The bed on the main floor was very comfortable.The cabin was close to all things in Pigeon Forge and about a one hour drive to Cades Cove.
The things we did not love… the driveway up to the cabin is VERY steep and the parking is extremely tight. Your allowed 2 vehicles, we only had one truck and it was extremely difficult to get turned around. The description also states jetted tub in the main level bathroom and it is not…while this is just a personal preference for us, this is something when traveling we look for when selecting a place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was extremely quiet but within 3 miles of all the offerings of pigeon forge. The owners are very responsive and left some snacks/drinks for us and snacks for our pooch. Very dog friendly with a large kennel for use, if needed. Couldn't ask for more!

My family and I stayed at the cabin, ‘Barkin at the moon.’ This cabin offered everything we could possibly want and need for the weekend. They thought of everything from the children to our dog. We had a wonderful time playing the board games, air hockey, and the game system. We were in an out of the pool and hot tub many times. it was so nice having our own private pool and hot tub. We could go anytime we wanted. We took morning swims as well as nighttime swims. We did not have to leave our cabin. We had everything we needed. We stopped by the grocery store on our way in and enjoyed the time together as a family. The beds were very comfortable. Jaime was very responsive to any of our questions. The description of the cabin was very accurate. We are looking forward to returning to the cabin.

Had a great weekend at Barkin’ at the Moon cabin!! Loved that it was tucked away in the woods but only a short drive to everything on or near the parkway!! The cabin was beautifully decorated and very clean. The outdoor decks were also so relaxing and comfy. The kitchen and bathrooms were loaded with everything needed…and so much more. My grandkids loved the pool and arcade area. Also enjoyed the “moonwalk” (trail) adventures!! We played and played until finally falling asleep in a choice of comfy beds. We also got to include my grand dog which added to our fun. This weekend was one of our best yet and would definitely return. Thanks for sharing this great cabin!!

The cabin is gorgeous and decorated so nicely. They even had a tree up and Christmas decorations throughout. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need if you choose to have meals there. They even left a basket of snacks for us and dog treats for the dog. This was by far our best rental to date!!

From the minute we pulled into the drive we knew that it would be a perfect weekend! While the entrance hill was steep, it just added to the lure of the place. Beautiful Cabin tucked in perfectly to a wooded, hilled and secluded estate! The kids can't stop talking about the indoor pool and arcade room. Thanks for a great time.
