This bed and breakfast was the coziest, quiet and safe place that I have ever stayed in. The front desk person was very helpful and pleasant. I think it was Natalie. Breakfast was very good and fresh everyday. People were friendly and the chef was also very nice.

This place reminds me of my college days right down the street from The College Club. The atmosphere is warm. Check-in is seamless. Room is comfortable and staff are gracious. Love this place. My second time here.

Had a wonderful stay in my beautiful room. Excellent location, close to the shopping street or park and to the underground station. I felt very safe.

This is like staying at your great-aunt's house, if she had been a Boston blue-stocking. Very charming, and convenient location. A fridge and mircrowave and breakfast make it easy to eat "at home" if you wish. I especially appreciated the new keyless system for the doors on the rooms, as it eliminated my fear of leaving the room in the middle of the night to use the shared bathroom, and locking myself out!

Beautiful and affordable. Thin walls so used their provided ear plugs

The College Club is a lovely place to stay, with a lot of charm and a great location. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable sitting area for having tea and chatting, taking advantage of the all day coffee, tea and cookies. I would love to come back.

If you want a taste of old school Boston, and I mean old, this is it. A dark-paneled atmosphere infused with history, tradition and old fashioned elegance. Excellently run, clean and quiet, located in one of Boston's prettiest , old world neighborhoods. But it's not for everyone. Dimly lit as befitting an old residence. There are no TVs in the rooms, only books. Probably best for older adults.

I loved my 3 night stay here in late December. It is such hidden gem. Communication before was impeccable, room was amazing - really well appointed and designed. Spacious layout in a gorgeous 1864 townhouse on a beautiful wide street in the Back Bay. Excellent continental breakfast every morning, elevator if you need but main staircase is lovely too. Very quiet too (thanks to no tv in rooms!)

The College Club of Boston will be where I want to stay for upcoming visits to Boston.
It is a gracious old place. My room was enormous and beautiful- the bathroom same. The building is very quiet- there was a reception happening on the ground floor one evening yet it was quiet in my room.
No TV in room, there were books instead.
What an escape from the 21st century!

It faced a beautiful tree lined avenue, close to eating and shopping areas , almost abutting Boston Commons , convenient commute options, and close to Massachusetts State House giving a majestic start to Boston visit.

Lovely place to stay in the heart of old Boston , just behind Newbury street. It is like a home away from home. Great breakfast and cozy building

It's an inexpensive, cozy little place with a great location. The lack of an attached bathroom to each room may turn some off, but the quality of the bathroom is good, and a robe is provided. The breakfast is simple but solid. 24 hour cookies and coffee is a nice perk.

Stayed one night. Truly charming, peaceful. All rooms are named, I stayed in Oberlin..view was the street..loved the view. My only hesitation was sharing the bathroom…what if I needed the bathroom and it was occupied. Fortunately no issues, not sure how booked they were so the issue did not arise. No TV which was pleasantly welcomed….I got a solid three hour sleep. Coffee was available at all times. Continental breakfast was welcomed.

Love that the College Club of Boston was founded as a private club for college women over 100 years ago. Each room is decorated with memorabilia from a different women’s college.

Beautiful old hotel, close to Boston Commons and the Public Gardens. No TV....a real bonus!

The hotel was fantastic and steeped in history. Had the smaller room which wasn't small at all. It was so near park and train/subway and felt super safe in the area.
The staff was super friendly too.
I will definitely be back.

The College Club of Boston has a perfect location -- a block from the public parks, across the street from a tree-lined walkway and nearby restaurants and luxury retailers. Staff is cordial, but cleaning guys are clueless. (They made no attempt to make the bed and picked up full cups of tea we hadn't drunk as well as an empty soda cup I wanted to use to make ice tea.) There's no recycle options in room trash cans. The room we had was enormous and comfortable. There are no televisions, but free wifi worked.
The elevator is a gift given the steep stairs, except when the cleaning guy disables it so he doesn't have to wait for it to reach the floor he's on. There is no night staff, which wasn't important to us. It's a very, very safe area.
Breakfast buffet was generous and they don't hurry you out.
We'd definitely stay here again!!
PS No parking nearby and parking officer comes by regularly.

The history is amazing and the rooms are super cute. The photographs and history really bring it to life!

They should have made it clearer that no services are provided over the weekend. No maid service and no refresh of the complimentary cookies and fruit.

It was a delightful stay in a great area of Boston facilities were beautiful. I would definitely recommend.
