A bit dated hotel and a few irritating matters - no coffee machine in the room, no minibar and no soup in the shower dispenser

Had stayed in the Lenox many years previously and was not disappointed in any way on the occasion. Staff were charming and very helpful and supportive when our return flight home was cancelled. Would not hesitate to recommend. Worth saying that our room was particularly spacious by US standards.

The staff was incredible, the hotel was historic and had fun details. The room itself was comfortable and nice - I will say it could have been slightly cleaner (crumbs on the desk, sink not totally clean) but overall fine. There are small parts/pieces that have wear & tear (outlets in particular). Loved the bar & restaurant, location, and of course the very friendly staff!

I booked a room for my family member. He is so glad that the room is lovely, comfortable and quiet (except for the intermittent sound from the air-conditioning system for which he needs to wear earplugs for sleep as he is a light sleeper). It is very conveniently located, within walkable distance to Back Bay Station and to the Logan Express stop. The staff are very nice. Food in the restaurants is good. He enjoyed the stay there.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The gentleman at the front door and the front desk staff members were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. Room service was ready really fast and the burger was great. I didn't sit down and eat at any of the in house restaurants but they were all packed. Check in and check out were seamless, and the location was great.

Great service! We were in the city to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Marcus at the front desk check in was making small talk and caught that bit of information. Next thing you know we’re unpacking and there is a knock on the door. A bottle of wine and two chilled glasses compliments of the Lenox to help celebrate the birthday weekend.

The service from the staff is amazing and the location in Boston is amazing, but the rooms were disappointing. The tv was broken, it had two blue lines going through it, like someone had hit it at some point. And the bathroom door would not stay closed. No matter how hard you pushed it closed or if you locked it, the door popped open by itself within seconds of closing it. The bed’s headboard had scratches in it and tiny holes as well, almost like a dog was scratching and chewing it up. Also like other reviews have mentioned, the rooms are outdated/older which is disappointing for a 4 and a 1/2 star hotel in a prime Back Bay location. Overall, the service from the staff, convenient location, and cleanliness were the only things I enjoyed here during my one night stay. Also this might be too picky, but they could position the bed to see the city/potentially the Prudential Tower while laying down, felt like a missed opportunity with the way it’s currently faced so you see a wall of the Lenox.

This is the second time we stayed at the
Lenox Hotel. The staff is excellant and tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel has a great location near the Copley T station. You can always find the hotel since there is a huge lit sign on top of the hotel. There are a number of very good restaurants nearby. The price is also reasonable.

Check in at 12.30am was a disaster. Lenox hotel only had one room booked whereas my confirmation from hotels.com was for two and I was charged for two. Hotel blamed it on hotels.com. Took excessive amount of time for hotel to process additional room.
