Excellent location at the edge of old Amsterdam and across from Central Station. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. It's very trendy, so for older folks lighting is a challenge. A/C works great and is very quiet.

Cental location, nice rooms and comfortable bed, good breakfast. Noisy restaurant at night, noisy room 4028 next to elevator, wall view on room 2029. Some hair on the bathroom and bedroom flor as well as a small insect in bathroom. Oterwise good.

Staff were amazing from the first moment we walked in. Truly fantastic service. Room was really nicely appointed, comfortable and clean. We especially liked the bathroom setup. Breakfast was lovely, chefs and waiting staff brilliant. We really enjoyed having a drink in the bar. Everything about our stay was amazing, thank you so much. We’d love to come back!

The hotel interior is a bit dark also the elevator, we ask if they can clean the bathroom as there is mold spots. They change our room. Modern amenities

What an amazing hotel.in every way, perfect location, reception and concierge couldn’t be more helpful, lovely smell as you come into the hotel! Wonderful comfortable bedroom and lovely breakfast each day. Only sad part was the hotel pool area was far too busy to use, and that was a shame as it looked absolutely lovely. Would stay again!

Staff were all lovely and very welcoming, the hotel is in a great location within walking distance to all the main areas and attractions and just over the road from the train station which links you directly to the airport, the rooms are a really good size well laid out and very modern, the entire hotel including the rooms are extremely clean and I physically couldn’t fault a single thing from check in to check out, I’ve stayed in Amsterdam more times than I can count and honestly I will be returning to this hotel on my next visit

We stayed at the hotel for NYE and a couple of days either side. We arrived at around 2:40pm ready for check in at 3pm. The room was slightly late being ready but we were given a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival (as all guests do) so drank this in the bar/lounge area. The staff were friendly and attentive but we didn’t really receive any explanation for the room fridge (locked) or any other facilities/services. The room (we upgraded to canal view room) had high ceilings, nice decor and a great view towards the central train station. The location was good if you want to be central and close to the train station, great for jumping on the tram too which can take you across Amsterdam easily within minutes. The restaurant inside the hotel Arca was brilliant and our waiter gave us some of the best service ever. The issues we had were the fridge being locked (so no storing your own drinks), cold room (A.C didn’t warm the room much at all, so felt cold during our stay), not much privacy in the bathroom (ok for couples but partially transparent at head height and no seal around door meant you could see into the toilet slightly), not sure if the rooms were hoovered much, a lot of dust in the room and felt the need to wear slippers (provided with robe!) in our room. Overall a good choice but just a few niggles for the price we paid. Maybe you could receive a better deal during a different time of the year.

This hotel is very beautiful and all of the staff were extremely welcoming. They offered suggestions for things to do as well as restaurants in the area and checked in with us each time we left and came back to the property to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

We had such a warm welcome on arrival and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was gorgeous and the bed was really comfortable. Despite being in a very busy area, you couldn’t hear the traffic from the room at all, although we didn’t have a canal facing room. The location was great for getting around the city and really close to the train station which is a 15 min trip from the airport. So easy!

Loved the hotel for its central location and style. However we didn't get our housekeeping any of the 3 days we stayed despite asking for it as the lady turned up to do the clean at 5.30pm which was far too late. I suppose they had staff issues but for the cost of the hotel it was disappointing.
