Great hotel in an excellent location. Room was spacious and clean. I like the hotel’s layout and staff was friendly. Drove there so had to pay for parking but kept my car at the Ritz Carlton which was cheaper ($35/day). Loved breakfast esp that there was a nice chef who made omelets. Would definitely return.

Terrific hotel, nice room, good breakfast, friendly staff always. Wouldn’t put anyone off staying there at all.
However our six day stay was somewhat let down by a complete breakdown of all Wi-Fi services. It was totally unavailable for virtually the whole of our stay. In fairness the hotel did credit my account with some money as compensation, but nearly a week without the service was very difficult. And as an overseas visitor, I’m dreading what the roaming charges we’ll have to pay will be.
That said, the hotel and services, Wi-Fi apart are very good.

We loved our stay. Staff was nice and so quick to help. Breakfast was great with made to order omelets. Kid friendly with nice indoor pool. We loved how safe the area felt and lots of dining options within walking distance even. It was also 15 minutes by car to the main attractions of DC. We highly recommend it!

Very large rooms, spacious foyer we were a large group and could sit and chat in foyer area, the cocktail hour is good nibbles and drinks at 5.30 Forno extra charge, lack of cleaning it seems as though they're stuck in covid times this is not a cheap hotel but they don't clean room change towels replenish toilet rolls make bed on a daily or even every other day basis, very strange they will give you if you ask but to have to ask for toilet roll really

This hotel was beautiful and in a very safe walkable neighborhood. I loved the bar and restaurant on site. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Our only complaint was the shower which was so short, Im 5'9 and my husband is 6'3 we had to duck and crouch to wash our hair.

We had a wonderful stay here. I appreciated the perks - the free breakfast and happy hour drinks were lovely. My kids enjoyed the pool and loved their room. We had a living room with a comfortable sofa bed and a separate bedroom with a king sized bed. It was super clean and modern, with a view of the neighborhood out the window. The hotel was lively and fun. The location is wonderful. Metro stops aren't too far away, there are buses, and an uber to nearly any tourist site is about $11. We walked to Georgetown and Dupont Circle for lovely meals. The neighborhood was very nice - I enjoyed the beautiful row houses and gardens. Thank you for a great stay in a great location. I much prefer this neighborhood to downtown. Downtown is nice too, but I loved the vibrant community feel and so many restaurants so closeby.

Great location, and superb amenities. The morning breakfast is excellent, and the evening reception is a nice touch. Staff communication is the best I've ever seen. The only issue is the Wi-Fi - they appear to have a misconfigured certificate which consistently caused our devices to drop every 5-15 minutes.

The staff was very attentive. Very good breakfast and nice atmosphere at dinner.

The staff was absolutely amazing! So helpful and friendly. From the valet to the concierge, everyone was great! Shoutout to the valets because they literally are the first people you see before you even walk in and they are greeting everyone with a smile and warm welcome! Our room was SPOTLESS and gorgeous! The bed was so comfortable! We were on the 9th floor (top floor) and the room was a bit warm walking in at first, but quickly cooled down when we adjusted the central air. The concierge gave us great recommendations, many of which we took and were delighted with. If or when we come back to DC, we will never stay anywhere else other than here!

Very average over priced and overcrowded hotel. WiFi was very glitchy. The service staff seemed really overworked. Pool was nice but packed.

Staff was very responsive to any needs. Location was great. Room was perfect. Free food and drink Happy Hour was a treat. Free breakfast got a bit crazy with the number of people trying to eat. They could use more staff, especially to assist with clean-up during that time. Same during Happy Hour. If dining in during Happy Hour, wait times were long due to not having an abundance of staff.

Wasn't thrilled there was no housekeeping for our stay but they did provide with a lot of towels and washclothes up on request after we found out. Pillows are too soft and squish right down when using them

Accommodation was excellent, free evening cocktails at the bar, excellent breakfast with proper cutlery, swimming pool and close to two metro stations. Hotel comes highly recommended and will definitely stay there again when next in DC.

One week Family Holiday
Hotel location is good - Short 5 - 10 minute walk to the metro. White house a comfortable 1 mile walk.
Very good sized room even when the sofa bed is pulled out. Lacking in USB charge points and some of the draws and doors on the furniture showing age and not closing.
Hotel public areas clean and well appointed. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was plentiful with many options.
Overall we would stay again if in the area.

Busy hotel! We were staying at The District, which it turned out, shares property with the Embassy Suites. That was a bit confusing to us, but the Uber driver figured it out. Check in for The District is on the 8th floor. Stay was great, included breakfast in the AM and Happy Hour at 5:30pm every day. Very cool. The room was actually a one bedroom suite, so a third person was able to sleep on the couch. Only ding against the hotel is that the walls were paper thin and while the bedroom remained quiet, the living room was very noisy until at least 12AM every night from the super busy rest of hotel.

We loved loved this hotel! It was spacious for our family of four. They had a nightly complimentary happy hour that made a great community. We
definitely be returning for our next DC trip!

The District by Hilton Club was a great choice and great price for the amenities. Hotels are pricey in DC. It is on the top three floors of the Embassy Suites. It was truly a huge three room suite with bedroom, huge living room with a extra large sectional sofa, wet bar, frig, micro, sink, third large room with a big dining table.
Location - Prices for transportation to White House, Capitol, main museums was $10-16 each way and usually about :15-:20 mins to most places. Felt we got a LOT more value for the money for this location a bit farther out (maybe 2 miles), and really enjoyed our stay.
FOOD - we received all the perks of complimentary cooked to order omelet (absolutely delicious), great buffet with crisp bacon, sausage, good quality fruit, waffles, pastries, ect. In the evening we enjoyed the 2 complimentary cocktails per person, wine was the better choice since the cocktails were understandably on the weaker side.
Service - EVERYONE we came in contact with were SO sweet! Even when busy, happened to be there the weekend of the White House Correspondents Dinner which was a mile away so hotel was sold out. Did not have a bad experience, not even a neutral experience, everyone had sweet smiles and so happy to help. I do not remember all the names.. but Jeff was our first omelet maker (SO GOOD) and super long line that busy Sunday morning after the big event and he was SO fast, and SO cheerful. Donnee, Mahlet were extraordinary even when busy.

This is a great property for families!
The cons first.
- First things to remember that this is 2 hotel in one. We stayed at the district which is apparently a timeshare but they rent it out like any other hotel rooms. This was a bit of a surprise to me since i did not know this. So the check in for this is in a different floor and there is one twice/week complete room clean up.
- Second the parking in the hotel was full when we checked in and this was not the busiest time. That said they helped us get a parking spot in a nearby area which worked out great and actually cheaper.
- The pool and exercise room were closed for upgrade during our entire stay which was not informed to us until we checked in. We would have not booked this hotel if we were informed of this. So this was a let down.
Pros
1. The included breakfast was great! My kids loved the cozy restaurant setting. This is not the usual stale breakfast that you get used to from hotels, but a rather good fresh spread. I am assuming it would get pretty busy on a weekend but we were there for a week in spring break and it was great.
2. The location was great, walkable to the foggy bottom metro station, very safe place. Many shops near by.
3. The evening complimentary drinks with snacks was awesome, we would check out all the sights and come back to this, and was perfect.
4. The staff both in the restaurant and the reception were very helpful and were very responsive. The cleaning staff were great as well.

We had back to back reservations that I tried to link and met nothing but trouble. Finally, they accommodated us, however they failed to notify housekeeping so the second night, we came home to an unmade room. Too late to help, we understood, but next day we’d get service. We did, but no soap and missing a charger.they must do better

The hotel did not have an airport shuttle.

The check-in and check-out are very quick and comfortable. Ms. Yesica is very kind and gives us a lot of help. The room is big, clean, and quiet. I will come back in the future.
