Over all, we had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We were immediately welcomed by the room cleanliness, which was okay for 2 people. The most exciting part is they have a bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. which you could take a quick shower if you get tired while exploring the city. The real kicker was the breakfast, with great spread of fresh fruits, eggs and pastries. There was also a variety of cheeses, cold cuts and great selection of bread. If you're a breakfast person like us, this place for you. I chose this place because of its perfect location. Its a couple minutes away from train, bus station, restaurants and grocery store, which is great because it makes getting around the city is super easy. if you plan on travelling to Grindewald Switzerland, this place is perfect for you. its cozy safe and offers a good value for the money. Plus the owners of the hostel is always super friendly especially Mrs Fraziska Lehmann. Just make sure check the their rules in advance like no late check-in ( 3pm to 9pm only) , no smoking in the room and no phones or taking pictures at breakfast area. Over all, we had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a budget-friendly hostel.

We'd like to see a bigger bath soap next time, as we shower a lot. And a lighter quilt or beddings.

Great service, views and location :)

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the daily breakfasts were exceptional :) The views from our bedroom window were second to none, and the location was great being in the centre of the town but not near any noisy pubs/bars!

Apart from locking/unlocking the doors and the small toilet, it was an awesome experience.

The process of locking/unlocking the doors from the entrance, bedroom, and to the toilet is more challenging compared to other hostels.

We recommend.

The breakfast was very clean and tasty. I can't think of anything that was lacking. The place was really clean and the lady did a good job of cleaning. I think she is like a 'WONDER WOMAN' who works really hard. Above all, the location of the room (with balcony...) facing the north wall of Eiger was great. It was close to the station and in the center of the city, so there was nothing inconvenient. I think it's probably the best place for the price. The owner seemed a bit pushy at first, but she was actually very nice and made us feel comfortable, so there was nothing to complain about. We didn't hear any noise from the neighborhood during our stay. It was very quiet and we were able to get plenty of rest. We were happy and had great memories in Grindelwald.

I can't think of anything that was lacking.

Very nice experience, the hostel is in a very good location, you can see the snow-capped mountains and dreamy hillsides, the hut is very clean, it is cleaned every day, and there is a touch of sandalwood, the breakfast is delicious every day, thanks for the hospitality, let us have a wonderful time Memories 💖

Very good

Convenient yet quiet location in the center of Grindelwald. Free parking. Grocery shop, bus stop and bars and restaurants just up the road. Nice breakfast, even for vegans with fresh fruit salad and plant based milk on request. Very friendly hosts. We loved the little common tea/dining corner equipped with a fridge and kettle.

Bunk bed was a little difficult to get in and out of. A microwave would have be practical at the common tea/dining corner and it would be nice to have the kettle available as from 10am instead of just 3pm. - But we truly enjoyed our stay still :)

The hotel is in a very good location, the breakfast is good, and the staff very kind. The room has a stunning mountain view

The only thing I didn't like was the mattress on the bed, which was not straight, with the result that I could not sleep comfortably

Very clean. Friendly owners. Beautiful location. Very simple and small.

The place was very clean. The breakfast was very nice. The owners were quite nice, as well.

The beds were ok. No place in room to hang towels to dry for reuse . Would be nice to have a hand towel. Couldn't find any outlet, except by door. Would have been nice to have a stand to put suitcase on. But also know space was very limited. We had to just leave stuff on the floor. I know there were closets, but they were blocked by our suitcases. Also, no easy wait to get into top bunk. Very difficult to get up and down from, especially in the night.

Amazing view, wonderful hosts

Amazing view from the room and great hosts! It was just what we needed for a few days stay at Grindelwald. The location is central and allowed us to come back to the room in the middle of the day if we needed to freshen up. Felt like a home away from home.

Amazing!!

We loved how welcoming the owners were. Both the husband and wife were so lovely. Overall the facility was clean, there were enough toiletries in the toilet; And ofcourse, the view was amazing.

There could have been more variety in the breakfast.

Good location; No's and don'ts everywhere

Nice view and the hosts are generally friendly

It's the hostel with the most rules that we have ever stayed in. Many strict no's and don'ts in the "welcoming" Email, information letter and signs are everywhere. Although the rules are generally reasonable, we felt more like in boarding school and it was pretty stressful for the holiday.
