Amazing view, and nice location!

The view is incredible, we had a room with a balcony and I can highly recommend it!

Wifi isnt great, but its also nice to disconnect! The view makes up for it :)

Spectacular location, mostly decent hotel.

It's a nice place with a nice restaurant, the location is obviously stunning and the room was nice too. Some nice benches outside which were good for watching the sun set.

So, this hotel is sold almost completely on its Eiger view, which is great... unless you get put at the back. The view at the back is nice, but not what was sold really. There's also a bit of an issue that the place was locked up when I arrived, within the check-in period, and it took fifteen minutes of ringing bells and calling an unresponsive number before anyone came out. Do also be aware that the restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday - that's probably on the listing but I missed it.

Can't wait to return to Grindelwald!

Amazing views in a fabulous, out of the main town, location. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant food was fantastic. So much to do and see in the area.

Very good

The landscape was really awesome and amazing.

There is no lift ( elevator) in the hotel, and an interphone in the room.

The beds were very comfortable and the provided blankets were warm. The room was a decent size and there was a lot of closet space. The bathroom was very clean, and the view from the room was very nice despite not having paid extra for a view of the Eiger.

Although breakfast is served until 10:30, during ski season much of the food is gone by 9am. If you come here in the winter, I suggest going to breakfast at 8-8:30am if you wish to have a decent selection.

Perfect stay in a perfect, picturesque town

Felt very homely and comfortable. Staff were very thoughtful and accommodating - being on a long trip and long way from home. Shoutout to Maria! Meals were great, breakfast perfect to set you up nicely for the day. and the transport ticket got a very good workout. Great value for money.

Hard to fault my stay.

Location with good view, bus at the door step, pleasant room, cleanliness.

If you want to cancel once it changed to nonrefundable it is not possible at all, even if the arrival date is far away and the hotel could still find replacement. Not really customer friendly in my view as much as other hotels, where I could cancel or change the dates. Apart from that good place to stay.

Beautiful guest house with great mountain views, good facilities and friendly staff

Great hotel with beautiful views from the room, good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and friendly staff.

Nothing about the hotel I didn’t like but for the location the bus from the main town ends at 7-8pm so you have to get a very expensive taxi back to the hotel if you go out for dinner!

Basic hotel with incredible views

Definitely the hotel with the best view! Free parking on site. Average breakfast included in the price. A nice restaurant on site with quite a bit of choice and fairly priced for the area. Free bus pass provided by hotel which stops outside the hotel and also gives you a discount for the first cliff walk which is a big bonus.

Basic rooms but given the price difference from a number of other hotels it was worth it. No hair dryer or shaver ports. There was no hot water on our second day but did seem to resolve later in the day.

Felt like home away from home.

My stay in Hotel Blümlisalp was nothing but great: the room is cosy and had a great view of the mountain, the staff is amazing, caring and the breakfast is filled with local goods (butter, cheeses, marmelade).
