The property was ok and had the quirky charm of a very old home. However, the place was a little run down, and could use many repairs. Here are some of the repairs required: At least 4 lights did not work; Exposed wiring in kitchen cupboard; Peeling paint on livingroom ceiling; Broken door knob on 2nd floor bathroom door; Trash cans and garbage next to front door. Additionally, the neighborhood was kind of sketchy, with quite a few unhoused walking the street in front of the property.

Nice homey feel in the historic district. Close to everything Lancaster has to offer. The house was very roomy to have privacy, but also had nice areas to gather together. The courtyard was quite the haven.

A beautiful house in a great part of historic downtown. Very close to many great things; a great coffee shop just around the corner, a 10 minute walk to many great restaurants. The only thing to note is that there is an attached apartment/house in the back that you can hear very clearly, with a very tiny lock dividing the two spaces. They weren’t a bother, but it would have been nice to know to expect that. Worth it though! I would rent this house again. Oh, and a beautiful yard behind the house!!! Another plus, two off street parking spaces behind the house.
