Salvatore was amazing and helped so much with everything we needed while in Florence. He told us about all of the great places to be in the city was an amazing help. The location is great and with the terrace upstairs with the view of the Duomo what else could you ask for. The apartment was extremely clean and he even provided us with things to get us started if we were too tired from our trip to go out and eat. I would highly recommend this location to anyone and I would definitely come back!

The apartment was amazing! It was only 2 blocks from the Palazzo Vecchio and EVERYTHING is the old part of Florence was accessible on foot. Salvatore met us at the apartment the evening we arrived and had water and cookies ready to greet us. He showed us how to work everything in the kitchen and gave us some excellent ideas for dining. The apartment itself had 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (one in the hall way and one in the master bedroom). The kitchen had everything one would need to cook and even had a washing machine. The living room/dining room was spacious and pleasant. We could not have found a better place to stay while in Florence.
I will definitely return to this beautiful apartment and this beautiful city. I recommend Salvatore and this apartment highly!

We stayed for one night in Belvedere and three in La Terrazza. Both apartments were lovely with updated kitchens and bathrooms. We could walk anywhere - very close to Santa Croce, Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo. Salvatore was a perfect host - very helpful and responsive. We had coffee, milk, orange juice and a few snacks provided which was a very nice touch and much appreciated. We didn't cook in at all but the kitchens were well stocked. Best gelato right next door too. We would absolutely stay here again!

Very pleased with the apartment & location (great area & close to all the tourist sites). Best host ever! Salvatore went above & beyond to make sure our stay was fun, successful & stress-free. Not to mention my kids loved the cookies & yogurt that were provided at check-in. Thanks so much for your hospitality! Will stay here again if we get back to Florence!

The two apartments combined (Terrace and Belvedere) accommodated all 11 of us. We were able to share meals in the Terrace’s kitchen, always very nice for a large group. They are nicely located in the Santa Croce district and about 5 minutes walk from the heart of Florence. There’s a supermarket (Conad) 3 minutes from the apartments as well as one of the best Panini places on the street.
Salvatore was a welcoming host and always ready to help. We’ll definitely go back next time we are in Florence.

We LOVED Apartment Belvedere. The building location is absolutely perfect for visiting all the sites in the historic center of Florence. It is only a 15 minute walk to just about anywhere, making it very convenient to drop back to the apartment for lunch, take a rest, pick-up forgotten stuff or drop off recent purchases. Tons of restaurants nearby, though we mainly cooked at home and ate in the snug kitchen. This is the only rental I've ever stayed at where the knives were sharp. The kitchen is adequately equipped, plenty of dishes, an efficient set of cookware, and nothing missing that didn't have a workaround. It takes ten minutes to toast bread in a panini press, in case you wondered. The apartment was actually more spacious than we expected. Very comfortable for a family or two couples willing to share the single bathroom. Beds were very comfortable, which I can attest to since I got dreadfully ill and had to spend two days lying down. Our host, Salvatore was wonderful, giving us guidance on finding antibiotics and offering to call an ambulance, which fortunately we did not need. He checked on us regularly to make sure I was all right. He also called a cab for us when we left, then came and waited with us until he was sure it had picked us up. There is no closet or wardrobe in one of the two bedrooms. The other bedroom has a large old fashioned wardrobe suitable for accessing fantasy realms. We did laundry in the washing machine, which takes two hours to do a load, as all Italian washers seem to, but it dried quickly on the balcony, which gets lots of direct sunlight. The apartments in this building are not fully wheelchair accessible, but there is a stairlift that gets you from the ground floor to within three steps of the tiny elevator that takes you up the rest of the way. There is only one step in the Belvedere apartment, between the bedrooms and the kitchen. So someone who has some ambulatory issues could still stay here. There are food shops and grocery stores in easy walking distance, but don't miss the fabulous public market with acres of fresh meat, produce, gourmet cheese, cured meats, sweets and specialty foods. It's only abut a 15 minute walk, like everything else. This was one of our very best VRBO stays. Highly recommended. You do get some street noise since you are in the heart of busy Florence, but this would be true anywhere you stay in the old city.

Our family of 5 just spent 4 nights staying in the Appartamento Belvedere. It was by far the best place we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Italy. The location is great - near to beautiful sites, the Arno River, good restaurants and excellent gelato! The apartment was well equipped which was good for us since we did use the kitchen to cook breakfasts and a few dinners. There is also a grocery store a block away. There was air conditioning and screens on most of the windows too. I can't wait to go back and stay here again!

We absolutely loved our staff in the Giotto. The apartment was perfect and it was so wonderful working with Salvatore. He met us and then took the time to provide us information, directions to where we needed to be and ideas for things to do. We had seven adults and the apartment had plenty of room. The building has wonderful charm and perfect location. We got everywhere we wanted to go by walking. Florence is a beautiful city and all seven of us thought this apartment was perfect! Highly recommend and hope to be back!

The apartment is well located; within easy walking distance to major sightseeing attractions. The apartment amenities are accurately described by the owner. The apartment was clean and the three of us found it spacious. Beds were very comfortable. The owner, Salvatore, met us at the apartment and gave us an excellent welcome. Upon our arrival he showed us how to use the appliances and generously provided some breakfast items. He took time to give us insightful restaurant and sightseeing tips for the city of Florence, including recommendations to enjoy the Calico Storico (aka human soccer) related festivities during our visit in June. We enjoyed our stay at Salvator's apartment and would rent it again on our next visit to Florence.

My 2 cousins and I stayed in this beautiful apartment (The Michelangelo unit) for 10 nights. It has been newly remodeled, but they left the charm in place (like the painted ceilings).
The apartment was very clean, comfortable and large enough so that the 3 of us could spread out and not feel crowded. It is located in a lively neighborhood, with lots of shops and restaurants very close by. We walked to most of the sites, without the need of transportation. We liked having a washing machine to wash our clothes, and we also liked the big dining table to eat, drink vino and set our plans for the following day's adventures on. The kitchen is small but functional and clean. We didn't come here to cook anyway. There was plenty of hot water with good pressure in the nice new showers.
Salvatore went out of his way to take my cousin to the bank to cash in her 500 euro bill. The bank didn't even want it. (advice: don't bring bills larger than 100 euro to Italy) Salvatore did get it broken for her with some hassle for him. Thank you so much for doing this, Salvatore.
Checking in and out was easy. He was there at the apartment to meet us, and to help with our over-shopped stuffed suitcases when we left.. He also called the taxi for us; so helpful.
We would most certainly recommend this apartment to friends and family, and would love to come back to stay if we ever get the chance to come back to this beautiful city again.
We really enjoyed staying here, couldn't ask for a better location, or a nicer landlord. Thank you again.
ciao,
Kate
