Staff was rude and had no idea how to do their jobs. Paint chips were in the pool area. Just overall disappointed.

The beds were very uncomfortable, shower was tiny and outdated. However, my children had an amazing time at the water parks

Amazing!

The hotel is connected to a water park, and they don’t offer discounted or included park passes when you stay at the hotel, or if they do, no one told us about it. We had to pay the regular daily price for the water park. I was disappointed with that.

View was beautiful. Screen on the sliding door was ripped

I would take my family there again, however, I do not recommend purchasing a stay at King’s Pointe Water Resort through EXPEDIA. When purchasing through this site it does not include the water park! Luckily the manager at Kings Pointe was very understanding and helpful but I will only book directly with the resort in the future.

Short staff room’s were not cleaned daily

The water slides were not open when we stayed which was one of the entire reasons we stayed there. We were celebrating my sons bday so it was super disappointing we didn’t get to play on the slides. We had terrible service at the hotel restaurant, half my family didn’t get dinner and it is literally the only thing open past 8 in storm lake. We drove 3 hours to play at the water park so we arrived late and hungry. Overall we made the best of it but there was for sure some disappointment from the kids.

The indoor outdoor waterpark was a highlight for the kids. The restaurant was accommodating to our large group and provided us a private room. Food was good at a fair price. Also enjoyed the smore's pit. Great location within walking distance to a 9 hole course and putt-putt.

Right away we had to call maintenance to fix our sliding glass door that was off its hinge. The room was musty smelling maybe off the first floor and the smell from the lake was not that good. The indoor pool area was closed so the outside area was packed with everyone that stayed there - not a lot of room to social distance. The restaurant needed reservations so we were forced to go off site to eat which was difficult as not much was open.

In town for a funeral service. The kids loved the waterparks and play areas. It was a nice break for Mom and Dad to relax and let them play. Enjoyed the park. Will come back if we are ever in west central Iowa again.

We had a lake-view room on the first level. It was clean and comfortable. There was some noise but what are you going to do - it's a hotel that seems to cater to families. We had two small boys so they probably made some noise as well. The internet was decent for a hotel wifi. We enjoyed walking along the lake edge and the boys especially enjoyed the water parks. There is a very nice playground adjoining the property and several excellent Mexican restaurants in town. We were very happy with our stay.

Room carpet was musty and damp, no housekeeping unless you've booked 3 nights or more (that's what we were told when we went down to get new trash bags and towels), and restaurant was very backed up and slow. Front desk personnel were friendly and apologetic... I think the hotel is just way under staffed.

The beds seemed new. They were nice and firm. The bathroom vent didn't work so of course, the wallpaper and tile was falling apart. We had a balcony looking over the parking lot, and it was usable. It was nice we could go out on the balcony and sit. However, there was a dirty diaper in the front yard and it wasn't picked up our whole stay
Water Park is complimentary with stay! We had a wonderful time! Would be great if hours to pool were posted somewhere.
Restaurant was great. Dinner portions are gigantic!
Great park and lookout tower in walking distance. Food vendor showed up selling ice cream, and chimmerones. Bring your cash!

Room was good. Kids had a great time. A microwave in the room would have been nice.

Enjoyed the location. Lake is much clearer, but now moss is able to develop. Room was clean, and shower was very nice.
