I would stay here again because it was a fun, clean hotel with nice staff and centrally located

I liked that it was in town and I could walk to eateries. I liked the unique character of the place and that it maintained some of its old world charm, like the elevator

It's an old building and some sounds woke me up at night; there was like a pipe clanging at times - not all the time though.

Wonderful and Comfortable

Beautifully restored with quality materials keeping it true to history yet with a wonderful modern flair. Very very comfortable. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Great location awesome historic stay in downtown HR

Awesome location, great views, a little pricey for an off weekend day but the historic hotel is fantastic … definitely take the elevator!

I loved it. They are true that there is noise as the railroad is right outside but they provide earplugs and honestly it’s like staying in the late 1800s with awesome amenities!

The homeless people made for an undesirable location.

The homeless people made for an undesirable location. The bartender where we went for a drink was probably doing a drug deal while on shift. Parking was stressful and I did not feel like my car was secure.

Great restoration if a historic building. Central location.

Portable aircon, noisy parking lot with trash trucks at 6 am.

very well located in the center of the city. lobby is impressive and very welcoming! you instantly are intrigued by the place. well designed and taken every detail in consideration for a great stay.

This is such a lovely hotel! I love how they've renovated it and seeing the old photos- and how much of the original design they kept in tact- was such a treat. The room was nicely sized, bed super comfortable, bathroom totally fine (nothing fancy). No conditioner in the shower, which wasn't a big deal but just good to know! Highly recc breakfast in the cafe downstairs!

We were warned about the sound and it was def a little loud. Mostly bc of people being loud out on the sidewalk late at night, which I don't think is something the hotel can do anything about! The train bothered us less, it's more of a background sound, but people yelling late at night were kind of annoying. I think the only thing the hotel could do to possible help this would be invest in more modern windows that were insulated, so there'd be more of a sound barrier?

Superb

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Too dark. Not enough general lighting in the room. Could not watch tv comfortably in a chair - only by sitting in bed.

I would stay again!!!

The hotel, staff and jazz night along with being right on the strip was perfect along with price.

There was a domestic disturbance while there and cops were there trying to deal with issue. lots of screaming in middle of night. of course nothing hotel could have helped or done differently just missed out on a lot of sleep

Great location. Charming little hotel. We hope to stay here more often.

Some folks might have trouble with a little sporadic noise due to the downtown location but it didn’t bother us.

Great historic hotel.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Very cozy lobby. Had a great time for our new year getaway.

Did not do housekeeping for the days we were there.

Over charge me not what booking said it was and the towl rack fell off the wall showers need to be Bleached there was someone else's hair in the shower still. One of the lamps didn't work at all. Ice buckets bit Where's the ice machine 🤔

Needs a remodel, badly. Not very clean. Loud, old, way overpriced for what it is.

Good hotel sympathetically renovated but some upgrades still needed. Earplugs required but are provided for free.

Location, staff, it’s an historical building of interest.

Poorly installed portable AC unit really let down the sympathetic renovations so our single glazed window had gaps big enough to slip your middle finger through. Ear plugs are a necessity due to proximity to busy highway and the railroad with freight trains through the night.

Our shower in our room was horrible! So tiny, you could barely turn around!
