Trés bon séjour à cet hôtel.

J'avais réservé pour 3 nuits et au lieu d'avoir une chambre simple, j'ai eu le droit à une chambre pour deux personnes, allouée normalement aux "jeunes mariés". Donc, au final, j'ai pu dormir dans une chambre de 2 personnes hyper grande, wc et salle de bain compris. Tout était propre.

Le seul petit hic, le wifi ne fonctionnait que près de la porte d'entrée dans la chambre, mais ce n'est qu'un détail quand on peut s'en passer.

Excellent services ( 24/7 concierge), modern amentities, Central location

I stayed at Hostal Roma, Seville during my recent multi-city/country tour. Hostal Roma is in a central location, conveniently situated near both the old town (a 10-15 minute walk) and the popular neighborhood of Triana (also a 10-15 minute walk). Its 24/7 concierge service was a valuable asset. The staff members were exceptionally helpful and friendly. This is one of the few properties that had an elevator from all the places I stayed during my travels. It came very handy as I had a large bag. The amenities provided were modern and included reliable Wi-Fi and consistently hot water in the showers. Without a doubt, if I were to visit Seville again in the future, I would choose to stay at Hostal Roma.

A DECENT STAY

Location is excellent to visit the area. Parking is available on a main street close to the Hostal.

Shower was leaking water to the floor under and staff had to come upstairs to tell us.

Disappointing

Well located. The staff was very pleasant and gave us good recommendations.

For 100€ a night, the room was very disappointing. Right next to the reception, very small and dark. We had chosen the option double bed, but found two single mattresses put together. Impossible to change, they said the double was not guaranteed.

Very central, very clean.

I stayed in a room without windows. The only window opened up to the inside of the hotel. Staying for a few nights, it was quite unpleasant without any natural light nor a possibility to air the room properly.

Disappointing

The shower was a great size, lots of hot water. Having two small balconies were nice. The hotel lobby and stairs up to the room looked wonderful. They had a bag storage policy for no charge that the cleaning staff let us know about.

The bathroom had an overwhelming sewage smell that came from the toilet. It made any use of the bathroom unpleasant. We kept the door closed, but could still smell it, especially since one of our three beds had to be located right next to the bathroom door. The bidet leaked and beside the shower door was pretty dirty. The beds were very uncomfortable, a stiff box spring mattress. The man behind the desk was also not very polite. We passed him our Amex card and asked if he accepted it, he said no and dropped it on the counter instead of passing it back. When i paid with a different card, i went to click confirm on his card reader but he made a motion to stop me. I clicked it before I understood, and i looked up to say sorry, but he was making an irritated face so i said nothing and let him operate his card reader. I don't need a jovial attitude, but simple neutrality was my bare minimum expectation and his attitude set a disappointing beginning to our stay. There is also a policy where you leave your key with the front desk when exiting the hotel, so ignoring him is not a possibility either. The cleaning staff were the only polite people we encountered, and the two women we met with were lovely. The wifi was also terrible. We were really only able to connect without issue on the first day. After that it would frequently cut out. Overall, the only major problem that would prevent me from recommending this hotel is the smell of the bathroom. The other issues are liveable but the smell of the bathroom was not tolerable.

Very good

A/C in the room worked great. The room was cleaned every day and nice to have the 24-hour front desk.

The private bathroom was actually detached and a separate door down the hall, which was a bit of a hassle, but not too bad. I was in the top back bedroom and the wifi was slightly inconsistent in the room. They only took cash to pay which I was not aware of beforehand, but there was an ATM a few blocks down.

Convenient location, last minute availability

Room smelled like mold and smoke, no window, dirty blanket, I could hear everything happening at the front desk from my room (including the staff coughing and talking all night)
