Barbara was a brilliant guest who helped us out with anything we needed. Whether it was restaurant or place suggestions she went above the normal to help us out.
She is a fantastic cook and the breakfasts are beautiful.
Maintenance on the rooms needs to be looked at. Some of the PowerPoints were loose

Barbara was a very friendly and nice host, the residence is very beautiful and very closely situated to the center.
We could hear a lot from the neighbors which is surely due to the residence being an old house

It was so wonderful!! The receptionist who welcomed us and was there for the whole stay was so lovely and made us feel so welcome in Florence and the hotel. We had the room with the view of the Duomo which was really magical.

Our host has created a beautiful oasis. The homemade sweets served at breakfast along with the hot dishes and delicious fruit juices enjoyed out on the patio made for a wonderful start to each day.

This B&B has that something extra that makes it special, and more than just a nice place to stay. It is very peaceful and cheery. The homemade breakfast in the courtyard was one of the highlights of our time in Florence. The staff are exceptionally friendly, warm, and responsive. We especially appreciated our conversations with Barbara, the owner and proprietor, who provided lots of recommendations. She now feels like a friend. We would love to come back to this place some day.

The room was okay. There was a musty smell but I also have a very sensitive nose. The high ceilings and the layout was weird to me but it was still a great place. She was funny and helpful and just the kindest woman. My family loved her. The breakfast was wonderful! The Pattie’s were homemade. The made to order cappuccinos and cafe latte were delicious! Barbara was so kind. She kept our luggage after checkout so we didn’t have to carry them throughout the city since our train did t leave until 4pm.
The musty smell of the room.

We stayed in the family apartment. The apartment was wonderful and renovated in style, one can feel and see the history. Breakfast was superb with home baked treats and the cappuccino was made to order. Location was within the walking distance to everything essential, including the Duomo. Parking was at the nearby parking garage, only a few minutes away. Hop on- hop off sightseeing bus stop is very close if that's what you're planning to do. Everything was great!

The location was great and the owner, Barbara, was so very pleasant and helpful with anything you needed!
This problem is only because of hot weather, but a fan to help push cooler air into the main bedroom would be helpful, the ac is in a corner and cool air doesn't reach where the bed is.

Extremely friendly & helpful owner, Barbara, who made us feel at home during our short 2 night stay. Delicious breakfast with homemade cakes. Perfect location made everything walkable. Many locked doors that separate the common area and access to the rooms, felt safe.
Our air conditioning unit in our room did not work very well which resulted in having to leave our windows open being this was cooler and the mosquitoes were quite active.

Gorgeous spot, perfectly in the centre, but super quiet and tranquil setup. Really nice feeling, amazing very large room, lovely furniture and the host was lovely.
Only downside was that there was no aircon, and something hot (guessing water pipes?) was running through the floor so it got really warm quickly. The open window let in cool air but no big filter so had to fight some mosquitos over night. Otherwise couldnt fault it.

Our hostess was exceptional - nothing was too much trouble. Location cannot be bettered. Room had good heating (which was needed in a chilly February.
The building is an original 'Residenza' one of the old Florentine properties - it felt like a privilege to visit it.
Room didn't have a kettle which we had thought was standard everywhere. Check which room you book as there are different amenities. Due to time of visit, couldn't have breakfast outside, but at 3 degrees, inside best

Friendly with a wonderful host , Barbara. She had great tips and advice re: tickets to galleries etc., A wonderful cook- she had a wide selection of very professional looking and tasting sweet tarts and pies at the breakfast buffet.
Location is fantastic.
I would have liked a small kettle in our room - to have the option of making a cup of tea..( especially those mornings when I would have skipped breakfast ).
Also, would be nice to have wine glasses-( however, we asked and they were provided immediately).

The B&B was lovely, with a beautiful garden courtyard for breakfast and a perfect, central location to all sights we set out to visit. The breakfast was lovely, all homemade and really exquisitely prepared, presented, varied and beautiful ! The owner was so caring and helpful when we were attempting to navigate this new & beautiful city. She couldn’t have been any more helpful and accommodating. Her husband was wonderful, too.
Can’t think of anything.

The house is situated in the center of the city. You can reach everything in 15- 20 min. The host is very kind and helpful. There was a very cute garden and the breakfast was very good:)
The room was very small on the last floor, basically, there was Air conditioning but it didn't change the temperature in the room, it was 37C we couldn't breathe. The bathroom was very tiny as well, the shampoo was very little I can't wash my hair with such an amount of 25grams.

beautiful old building perfectly cared for. the breakfast is simply amazing, one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. the owner was very friendly and always there to help with any need
we really enjoyed our stay, even though in a very hot august in Florence our room was extremely hot despite the aircon on all night. the parking fee is on top of the room fee.
