Staff were on hand to answer questions, the building is beautiful and steeped in history. luggage storage available for free after we had checked out which was excellent.

The room would have benefited from some traditional bedside tables for instance. The modern look made it look a bit cheap and not in keeping with the rest of the hotel.

The location of this property is amazing, super central, close walking distance to everything. The staff were super friendly and very helpful and made some good recommendations for us. Everything you could want in Florence is on your doorstep.

As it's in a super central location, it was incredibly noisy. There are no proper windows, just shutters. Getting a good nights sleep was tough so I would recommend bringing ear plugs as the noise on the streets goes on all night.

The air conditioner was very ineffective and unable to cope with the July heat. I am still giving a rating of 8 as the location was fantastic and the staff was very helpful & kind. They came in late in the night to give us a pedestal fan which made the room bearable. This should be a great place to stay other than the peak summer time.

The staff is amiable and helpful. They took the time to recommend us places to visit and to eat. The hotel building is fantastic and the location is very convenient. You can reach many areas in a few minutes by walking. They answered all our questions with had during our stay at the hotel.

The air conditioning in the very large family room was inadequate for the late July heat. Coupled with the hard beds made for little sleep.

Everything! We got a room which looks into the piazza which was incredible and felt really special. Less than 10 minute walk to the station and 5 minutes to the Duomo. Facilities were amazing- clean, comfy and excellent air conditioning and cannot wait to stay here again.

The central location was perfect - right by the Duomo! The wood shutters/windows did a good job of blocking out the noise that occasionally happened in the piazza. Gorgeous views, especially at sunset. The staff was helpful and very accommodating when we needed checkin assistance.

The mattress was uncomfortable and very firm. But, we all have our preferences.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The airconditioning was perfect and the view to the outside piazza and church were outstanding. We enjoyed the inner balcony as well. It was close and central to a lot of sites. The breakfasts were outstanding.

The pillows were not comfortable and the twin bed mattress was stiff.

Fantastic location, wonderful view and overall very happy

The location provided a gorgeous sunset view overlooking a beautiful square where we could just open the windows to listen to a local singer.
