Quiet • Best Location • Charm • Safe • Free Wifi • Family facilities In a great location, just behind the square of Santo Spirito, a totally private apartment with free wifi, air-conditioning, heating, fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom and an unforgettable atmosphere is waiting for you! Easily reachable with a pleasant 10-minute walk from the SMN station or by bus (bus stop 200 m from the apartment) the apartment is located in the heart of the Florentine Oltrarno where you will live a wonderful experience in one of the most beautiful and lively districts of Florence. Nearby there are many shops, bars and restaurants where you can relax and spend some pleasant time to enjoy good food & wine. The nearest bar is only 80 meters away; bakery, fruit and vegetables and butcher's are around the corner; Carrefour and Conad can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The car - not necessary - can be left in a paid parking lot about 300 m from the apartment. The apartment is on the 1st floor (1 flight of 20 steps) of a typical florentine building and consists of MASTER BEDROOM with king size bed, DINING ROOM with a matrimonial sofa bed (140cmx190cm), KITCHENETTE and BATHROOM with extra large shower. It is also extremely quiet and peaceful because all the windows facing the cortyard. A child's chair and a cot with orthopedic mattress are available on request free of charge. Please be aware we provide the following: - FRESH LINENS AND TOWELS (no change) - WASHING MACHINE - POTS & PANS - TV - HAIR DRYER - IRON AND IRON BOARD - BODY WASH, SHAMPOO... During the day you will be immersed in the pleasant Florentine life with its shops and its markets; at night you will choose from numerous restaurants in the area to return to the quiet of your apartment. The Basilica of Santo Spirito as is Piazza del Carmine and the Brancacci Chapel, Piazza Pitti and Ponte Vecchio (Old bridge) can be all reached with a pleasant walk of just few minutes. So easy to walk to all the sites. Very quiet so slept well. The hosts had lots of information about the area. Made for a freat vacation.

We appreciated the local neighborhood. It was close to everything we wanted to see. Francesco was a great host. Fast communication and he checked in with us regularly to see how we were doing. He met us at the apartment which we really appreciated. (Sometimes getting the locks on the doors can be a little tricky.) He spent time with us discussing the area and showing us where certain sites were on a map as well as recommendations on where to eat. (We highly recommend Deli 1819 on Porta Roma for good prepared dishes to take home. Believe it or not we needed a break from pasta! And we appreciated being able to relax at home on some evenings). His wife Ciara was really helpful in finding a flea market for me which I love to find in every city. We highly recommend their apartment and would stay again.

To base our visit to Florence in the Oltrarno section was perfect for us. Chiara met us upon arrival and explained all to us. We could walk easily to all points of interest or use public transportation which was very close. Don’t miss Piazza Santo Spirito. It was charming both day and night-don't miss it!

The apartment is in a nice and quiet neighborhood but very close to the piazza where you can easily find a few restaurants. We walked everywhere and explored the city fully. Chiara, our host, is very responsive and helpful. I bothered her a lot during my planning period and Chiara gave me a lot of advice. Super nice lady! We also took her advice and did a day tour to the historical villages and Siena, which was great. I would definitely recommend Chiara and her place to my friends. Grazie!

This apartment had everything we needed. It was great to be in Florence half way through our trip and have the ability to wash clothes so we could travel light. Chiara and Francesco were really helpful and gave us a lot of great tips about the area. They have a great binder with suggestions for everything you could need. We would definitely recommend staying in this apartment which is close to everything.

A quiet spot so we slept well! We loved being greeted by the owner and having her recommend places to go, and eat! We found the apartment to be exactly as described. Easy to walk places. You must be mobile and should pack lightly as the stairs are steep as others have described. Loved the washing machine! We would book here again!

The apartment was nice, but the bathroom is very small and there is a very steep staircase leading to it- we had overpacked, so it was a bit of a struggle. It is quite close to the train station, so easy to walk to when we left, which is a huge bonus as hailing a cab is tough in Italy. The hosts were lovely, we were close to most attractions, restaurants and Gelateria's. The only negative comment I would make is that I would recommend a few more pillows on the bed.

We really enjoyed this apartment. It had all of the amenities we needed, and best of all, the location was close enough to everything we wanted to see, yet in a nice quiet area of the city, which we really appreciated. Chiara is an excellent host, and really made us feel welcome. We definitely recommend this apartment.

We loved the location of this cozy, comfortable and clean apartment. It had everything we needed, and we enjoyed our stay completely. The host was responsive to our questions and was very helpful in orienting us to the neighbourhood and Florence's local treasures.

The host Chiara was very friendly and great at communicating. She gave us great suggestions for places to eat and local grocery stores. This is on a quiet street, but is only a 15 minute walk from about anything that you want to do in Florence.

This is my 14th trip to Florence so I feel like I can make such a statement. This apartment, in the best neighborhood in the Oltrarno, Santo Spirito, is tucked away literally two blocks away from the lively Piazza Santo Spirito. When you are ready for some rest and relaxation, you enter the very secure building and the apartment is situated towards the inner courtyard of the building so you don't hear the sounds of passing motorbikes, cars, and the folks enjoying the nightly fun. I have stayed at many rentals that have windows above the street and found it very difficult to fall asleep. Not here! The apartment was clean, the bed so very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything I needed. I worked remotely from the small dining table with no WI-FI issues which was also a plus. This is a rental that I will return to and will certainly recommend to my visiting friends and family.

Compact apartment well situated and comfortable in an historic area. Windows open onto area enclosed by buildings. So you don’t get a street view and you do hear noise from surrounding apartments, but we didn’t find this excessive. Very convenient, lovely host with helpful recommendations. Apartment adequately equipped .

This apartment is a great base to explore Florence. Walkable to Santo Spirito / Ponte Vecchio, and a little quieter. Appreciated being able to do laundry. Host’s dining recommendations (Diladdarno and Sergio Gozzi) were great! We went to Diladdarno twice!

This property was great to stay at while we were in Florence. Chiara was at the apartment waiting for us when we arrived. She gave us a nice walk through of the apartment and had maps and recommendations for places to see and restaurants to eat at. Santo Spirito was a great area that was more quiet and laid back with just a short walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our visit and highly recommend!

Wonderful little apartment right in the Oltrarno a short walk from Pitti Palace and Santo Spirito just right for my daughter and me. Chiara and Francesco were wonderful hosts and thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended

Chiara was an awesome host! Greeted us at the property and walked us to the small apt. She also gave a very helpful 15 minute overview of the area and great local suggestions as well. I'd stay here again without looking elsewhere.

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks at the beginning of a tour of Italy. The apartment is just far enough away from the touristy part of the city to be perfect for us - quiet, central and surrounded by locals.
We loved being close to the attractions but also close to the real Firenze. The golden bridge is a 7min walk, Santo Spirito is a five min walk, and there are bars, cafes, cool boutiques and mini markets close by.
The apartment is well equipped. We cooked for ourselves when we wanted, and were able to do laundry as needed too. The space is small but sufficient. We were really happy there. And our host was lovely and accommodating.
If you are looking for a neat and tidy place that is central but doesn’t break the bank, I highly recommend this space.

Lovely apartment and great hostess
We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment. Chiara was a perfect hostess, letting us check in as soon as we arrived, which was so appreciated. She was so helpful and charming, and her apartment has everything we needed for our time in Florence. The kitchen had everything we needed to make delicious meals, with great groceries from the neighborhood. We loved this part of the city, so pretty and away from the heavily touristy areas, yet super close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

A Very Nice Apartment For A Great Price
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florence, and the apartment was fantastic. It was very spacious with lots of room to store our belongings. It was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The owner went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable and problem free. She gave me lots of very helpful info prior to our trip. She contacted the Accademia to give me the latest info. She called a taxi for us when we were leaving for the train station. The only thing we gave 4 stars on was the location. It was a bit away from the major attractions, but we didn’t mind walking to them. It was easy to walk to all of the tourist sights, so it wasn’t a problem for us. And no elevator either, so we had to carry our luggage up a steep set of stairs, but again, not that big a deal. I would definitely recommend this apartment. We got much more than we expected for the price we paid. I highly recommend it!

Great one-bedroom apartment
Check in was well arranged. The apartment was very clean and included a number of well thought-out conveniences (USB stick for charging, toiletries, maps). Chiara provided some very useful tourist info as well as suggested local eateries. Bathroom was a little small but typical of the other apartments we rented on our trip. Location was fine for walking across the bridge to the city center but also close to a number of local shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

Santo spirito gem
Loved our stay. It’s the perfect location within 10 minute walk to everything. Owners were extremely nice and communicative. Only complaint was the musty smell of the apartment during our stay. Had to buy an air freshener while we were there but other than that it was lovely!

Perfect.
I can’t say enough good things about our stay in Florence. To start Chiara was so sweet, welcoming and helpful and was always available with any questions we needed. The apartment was clean and organized and in a great location near maybe shops and restaurants and a quick walk to the ponte vecchio. Our only regret was having to leave our home in Florence, we never felt more comfortable and welcome on a vacation then we did here. Thank you for a wonderful stay Chiara and Francesco!

Comfortable stay!
Super location south of the river... a little less tourists but only a 10 minute walk to ponte vecchio. Clean and comfortable. Check-in/meet-up with Chiara was great!

Great location
This apartment is perfectly located for exploring Florence. Close to the main attractions yet in a quiet residential street. The apartment is small but fine for a couple. It has a good sized bedroom with plenty of storage, a shower room and a small room with TV, dining table and futon next to a small but functional kitchen. It has air con in the bedroom although it was still quite warm as we visited during an unusually hot few days. Francesco was very welcoming and the apartment owners were able to be flexible with our checking out time to accommodate our luggage until our flight. I would happily book this apartment again.

Good for short stay
Small apartment, no view, but quiet, clean, safe neighborhood close to many things. Mattress could use an update and there are many stairs to climb to get to apartment with no elevator. Very nice and helpful host, very clean and simple.

Perfect Place in Firenze!
My three adult children and I stayed here for one week and had a wonderful stay. We managed in the space, just fine. Chiaro and Francesco are perfect hosts! Fancesco met us at the flat. Even though we arrived very late in the evening, he took the time to explain everything about the apartment and also gave us a good introduction to the sites of Florence . They let us know they were away for a weekend and made me feel they were always there if we needed them. Chiaro was so helpful in trying to find us a taxi at the end of our stay and in the end gave us good instructions on the buses we could take ( a fashion event took up all the cabs!) The flat has everything you need- nice linen and lots of appliances. The washer was great to have, as was the ironing board. The location of this apartment was perfect for us, on the quiet side of the Arno, but within easy walking distance of Ponte Vecchio and all that is beyond. We really felt we were coming home after a busy day in the heart of the town. The local piazza, Santa Spirito, just around the corner became our favourite spot with its lovely basilica, cafes and restaurants, markets and wonderful ambiance into the wee hours of the night. The flat was very quiet, which is important to me.
Thank you again Chiaro and Francesco for providing such a lovely spot for people to stay and for your wonderful hospitality. I don't think we could have found a better spot.

Florence is a must!
This little VRBO was in a great location- about 5 minutes away from Piazza Santa Spirito. It is also located on the “quieter” side of town which we enjoyed. We would love to return! Our host was fabulous and met us with great suggestions and advice.
