Very good location. Peaceful. VERY clean. Lovely quick hike to a small stream and the old mine. Overall beautiful.
Can do with more drying cloths for dishes? On the other hand a lady comes in to wash- very convenient!!

The host was were friendly. The cottage itself was very cosy and it had everything you need. The location is also very close to everything.

The garden is private, neat, quiet and clean. The hosts are generous, thoughtful and kind provided all sort of drinks even with biscuits.
The location is excellent for all attraction near by. We have plenty time to visit God' Window, Bourke's luck potholes, Echo's cave, Pilgrim's Rest.
We also like the morning walk up to the Old Mine.
The room is comfortable , clean had a good taste in deco.
We are definitely will revisit and stay longer next time.

Loved having my own little place in the beautiful wild bush! Also very nice neighbors - Zur Alten Mine- with the superb option of heaving breakfast there
Load shedding at super inconveniant hours...not much you can do about that

The location was beautiful, and the chalet was comfortable.
Only complaint was loadshedding, which is completely out of the control of the owner.

Amazing stay for all couples. Beautiful scenery and that much needed privacy. This was the start of a long and loving relationship. 10/10 would stay here again.

Great location to visit the attractions in the area. Loved the cottage, the garden and the tranquility. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back!

The cottage is situated on the same property as Die Alte Mine which is a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. There is also a short (30 min) walking trail to the old mine nearby.
There is only a bath, with a hose that can be used for showering, but no high hook to attach it to which can make it awkward to shower standing. A good improvement would be to add a hook higher up and perhaps a shower curtain so that the bath can also be used like a proper shower.

The locaton is close to drive into town for supplies and shopping. Feel safe and just a small town of friendly people. Panoramic route convenient to explore.
Breakfast option at neighboring BnB was excellent.

The host was super kind. She helped us with everything we needed during our stay. breakfast next door was also really good. Would highly recommend you to stay at Wild Forest Inn.
In the room you can smell it is a bit moisty, but don’t thing the owner can do much about it as it is located right in the forest.

The personal touches were incredible - Cecilia even left us a hand written welcome note and birthday treats - our hearts were warmed by the hospitality and the cottage was lovely and cosy! I wish that we could've stayed longer!

Very clean and cosy. Electric blankets for the cold nights. Daily cleaning services. Super friendly host, can ask for anything and she'll provide. Friendly staff. Beautiful scenery, quiet and very private
