We were in town for our son’s wedding in Sequin. The location was great! We were within walking distance to historic downtown New Braunfels which has lots of shopping and restaurants. We also enjoyed walking around the charming older neighborhood. Deer literally stroll around like pets and are obviously fed by and very comfortable around people. The fenced-in back yard with deck was a huge benefit to us because we had two family dogs with us. Very comfortable for all 6 adults in our group. We would stay here again.

Location is perfect walking distance to all amenities. House is set up for large groups. Sleeping arrangements are spot on as stated. Neighbor next door feeds the deer and is a very nice man and welcoming:) we will rent from them again.

Group of 7 older guys , 3 day weekend. Home is in a good location, walkable to downtown and tubing on river. Neighborhood is a mix of renovated older homes, and some that are in need of help. Parking for 2 to 3 cars. Home did the job for us.

Loved everything about this place…felt bigger than advertised! Great for dogs, secure backyard that comes with its own herd of domesticated deer! Walked to most of our scheduled events in downtown New Braunfels. Highly recommended!

Havana Haus is a wonderful place to stay on a New Braunfels trip. It is walking distance from downtown and 444 Tubes, which is an AMAZING place to use for tube rental and river floating. The back patio is fabulous, and there are deer that roam the property. The house is full of character and cozy.

The house was very clean with all the essentials supplied that you would normally expect in a nice home rental. We enjoyed the home very much and loved to watch the deer and birds from the lovely double decks.

Overall this was a great stay. Nice house and yard, excellent location. The code they sent to get into the house didn’t work and it was difficult to get in touch with anyone to help us out, which was frustrating. Mostly clean inside, plenty of towels and nice bathrooms. Agree with other reviews that the furniture is a bit shabby and could use some updating. But we’d stay again!

We loved the extra steps you took with the decor. Loved having 4 garbage cans. Beds were very comfortable and loved the window unit in the back. Roll away beds are a great addition! Fridge wasn't super cold but it worked out.

The narrow gravel driveway has a large tree on one side and a utility pole on the other, so navigating it can be tricky the first couple of times. This house is perfect! Great combination of “old fashioned” comfort and modern amenities. Plenty of room for everyone. Close to town and attractions. Walking distance to river access. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Even have deer each morning/ evening.
