We stayed at the boathouse for just a short time, but wish it was so much longer! The space itself is beautiful on its own. The two cherries on top were the views and Lynn’s local recommendations. We’ll be back one day!

We couldn't be happier with our stay at the Boathouse -- sturdy little cottage on a beautiful lake, spotless rooms, comfy beds, creatively decorated. Close enough to Cape Cod and major attractions, but away from tourist congestion. The Boathouse was the best part of our trip!

We are ages 89 and 84 and this is the very best place we have ever stayed on vacation!!!!!! Over the years we have stayed at dozens of cottages all over New England. The boat house is our very favorite place and we are hoping to stay again next year!!! You step out of the living room right onto the dock where you can fish a few feet from the door. Lynn and Jack were wonderful hosts. Everything was immaculate and the boat house had everything you could possibly need. On a scale of one to ten, we give it 100. Bob and Joyce

We loved the beauty of the lake and the decor of the boathouse was perfect. Beds and bedding are super comfortable and added amenities such as kayaks made it a wonderful getaway.

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The boathouse looked exactly like the photographs, and the location was perfect for our unplugged, Plymouth vacation. Comfy, cozy and fully equipped, the hosts were welcoming, the house relaxing, and we never tired of the lake views. We'll be planning to return, and highly recommend to others.

My husband and I spent two nights at this wonderful boathouse by the water. Jack and Lynn were amazing hosts and thought of everything. The boathouse has everything you need and we felt right at home. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture in the living room was also extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The dock was the best part and so peaceful to just sit and listen to the birds and watch the ducks. You literally are on the water and it was so beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed having the use of the kayaks. It was a perfect getaway and we didn’t want to leave. We look forward to returning someday!! Highly recommend this property. Thank you Lynn and Jack!

I truly don't know where to start....If you are seeking a true Rest and Relaxation vacation, this is the spot for you! The hosts, Lynn and Jack, could not have been more welcoming. Jack even invited us into his home to show us his beautiful antique furniture and the views from the porch. But, honestly, the views from their Boathouse rental are BETTER! This is such a quaint, clean, peaceful property (right down to the clarity of the water!), you might not find many others like it! The only warning I might give is that a taller or large in stature person may have some difficulty in the tighter spaces. Kayaking, fishing, bird watching (We had three Bald Eagles visit within VERY close range!)...absolutely everything you could ask for from Mother Nature! And Plymouth Harbor is close enough for a little more activity if needed. If there's no such thing as "perfection"...then this place is 99% there!!! Thank you Lynn and Jack...we enjoyed every minute of Long Pond!!!

We had the most amazing stay at the boathouse. Lynn and Jack did a great job creating a wonderful, relaxing getaway. We didn’t want to leave. We loved sitting on our dock watching the water, the fish and the birds. It was truly a much needed weekend spent in nature. The location is close enough to stores and restaurants, but far enough away to give you peace and quiet.

Sitting on the water, with all of nature was the most amazing peace of mind. Owners were awesome, cute boathouse, fire pit, visiting ducks 😀 Will definitely be back, most restful stay ever- even with rain.

Absolutely charming boathouse cottage. Beautiful views and just what the two of us needed. Hiking trails across the street and easy drive to downtown Plymouth and easier drive to the Pinehills. Jack and Lynn were wonderful hosts.

Everything we wanted! Cozy, private and so relaxing. The boathouse is exactly as advertised, a quite cozy little getaway right on the water. At night we could hear the gentle lapping of the waves against the shore and dock. This "cottage" is very comfortable. The kitchen is amply stocked with seasonings and everything you need to make a nice meal "at home" but close enough to go out. And everything to make a perfect cup of coffee in the morning and enjoy the water. Oh yeah, the water, crystal clear and a sandy beach to add to the experience. It's the perfect place for a couple to get away from it all. There is a day bed for a third person, but beyond that it might get crowded as this really is like a small cottage. The owners are easy to communicate with and take great pride in providing a very unique VRBO property. If you are looking for some quiet time by yourself, or with someone you love without all the "noise" in the daily life, and get close to tnature.... THIS IS IT! Highly Recommended!

This place is awesome with swimming, kayaking, canoeing right outside your door. Such a great sleep too. Lynn and Jack are very available and friendly. Just be aware there is no internet or TV. So come prepared to relax!

This was hands down the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The boathouse was clean when we arrived and Lynn and her husband greeted us. They were friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The deck right on the water was amazing to sit on and you have a view of the lake from every window. I took my paddleboard out every night to see the sunset from the lake which was the absolute best part of the trip. Private beach with canoes and kayaks, warm water, and beautiful scenery. You can’t beat it. We can’t wait to book our next stay here.

We had just spend the 4th of July weekend in D.C.. what a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Lynn, Josh and their family were wonderful. We stayed for only 3 nights but hope to come back for a longer stay. Honestly, we couldn’t get the TV to work and that added even more to the experience. I am sure it was human error on our part.

My husband and I took advantage of two days during the week to get away prior to the busy Fourth of July holiday weekend. We found the boathouse to be quaint, secluded, and beautiful. It’s a perfect getaway if you don’t need television, or Wi-Fi computer access. Everything we needed was provided and the host and hostess were always available and made sure that our stay was wonderful.
