About this condo rental
Situated in Folly Beach, this lovely condo for R 8,410 per night is a great option for your next break. Have fun watching Folly go by from the large private balcony; settle in with a drink on the cozy outdoor sofa and enjoy the sights and sounds of our beloved hippie surfer beach town we refer to as the “Edge of America” Inside each apartment you'll find luxurious furnishings, including a comfy leather queen size pull out sofa for added sleeping space, a flat screen TV and cool vintage artwork to play up our hipster vibe. The open floor plan invites use of the well equipped kitchen with custom cabinets, large and small appliances and generous granite counter space, uniting the banquette and living area to make preparing meals and dining in enjoyable. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and has a cleanable filter, and a disposable paper filter can be used if desired. Both bedrooms have a king sized bed with quality linens, bedside furniture with adequate reading light, a flat-screen TV and custom furniture cabinetry. Outside, the live oaks and magnolias shade the back parking area reserved for you to park one vehicle. You'll be just a short walk away from Folly River Park and Folly Pier, where you can fish, crab, catch a meal or shag-dance with locals. Each apartment has a beach cart and two chairs available to use when you're ready to head to the beach. We are dog friendly! We have a one-time pet fee of $110 per dog for reservations up to three nights, and $150 per dog for reservations for four or more nights. The pet fee is added once your reservation is confirmed. This home is 900 Sq. Ft. We invite you to come enjoy our perfect beach town for a Folly good time! PLEASE NOTE: The Location of this apartment is on the 3RD FLOOR and is in the MIX OF COMMERCIAL CENTER STREET ACTIVITY, you probably WILL HEAR NOISE. HOWEVER, because of its top floor location, THIS IS THE QUIETEST apartment in the building. There is not an elevator. There is a load/unload parking area beside the building. Reserved parking is one street behind the load and unload zone and is a 2-3 minute walk to the building. Rental Registration Number STR22-00307

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and inviting vacation apartment. It’s an easy walk to the beach and pier, and close to restaurants and shops. Check in/check out was simple. We didn’t cook there, but it was fairly well supplied. There’s a coffee maker, but bring your own coffee.

This is a great rental, that is well stocked. The location is excellent. I didn't hear any noise, even though there is a bar/restaurant on the ground level. The property management company is very organized and responsive. My only issue was the beds. The mattresses are very firm (frankly, hard IMHO). Tough for a side sleeper to go from a sleep number of 35 to a firm mattress. They provide 4 beach chairs in the unit, with a cart. 3 of the 4 chairs had broken straps (appeared to be from normal wear and tear over time), which isn't a huge deal since you have the cart, but it's a bit of a problem if you aren't using the cart. It's probably time to replace the beach chairs if that's meant to be a selling point of the unit. I would have rented it with or without them, so the chairs were just a bonus and I only needed one so I used the good one. Just as a fact, there's no air conditioning in the bedrooms, but that wasn't a problem in September. Not sure what it might be like in the summer. For future stays, the hard beds would be a deal breaker for me because I didn't sleep well, but they have several properties so I'd maybe ask them if they have something with softer beds.

Great hospitality, this condo has everything you need, even beach chairs and a beach cart! Walking distance to everything. I would have to say the beds are very uncomfortable, and the listing shows it’s beach front. It’s super close to the beach, maybe 3 blocks away, definitely walking distance. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Brought my son down for his 11th birthday as we do experiences vs parties. He had an absolutely wondefuk time and the place had such an at home feeling he slept great when he normally doesnt do well in staying ither places then home. It was close to everything we wanted to experience and was perfect. Look forward to maybe using this place again for our next visit!

Great place to stay with everything in walking distance. We spent a lot of time on the porch. The 2 bedrooms had ped
fans as those did not have AC. We kept the bedroom doors open so air could circulate.

This condo was perfect for our family! The place was very clean and comfortable. We loved the location and sitting on the balcony, watching the people walk by and enjoying the weather. The parking is a good little walk, and there was construction happening on the back lot that prevented us from unloading/loading there, but we were able to use the parking lot at the gas station with little trouble. We only used our car to travel into Charleston a couple days, otherwise we rented a golfcart and were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend this place, and we can't wait to come back! Definetely check out The Lost Dog Cafe and The Crab Shack..soo good!

We had an awesome stay. Condo was spotless, in a great location, great bathroom and shower, high tech touches with lights and fans, nice patio, good kitchen. Note this is on the 3rd floor so you do need to be able to navigate steps. Parking was a good little walk away ( not great if raining) and it was difficult pulling up to back of condo due to construction directly behind condo and equipment in way of driveway (not fault of owner ). Kitchen could use a few pan upgrades. Otherwise perfect stay. I would highly recommend and would for sure rent again!

The place was clean, spacious, and well decorated. I really truely enjoyed my stay at this property which is so conveniently located to everything Folly has to offer. When I wasnt busy in town or at the beach, the spacious front porch was my favorite space. There are tvs in living room and both bedrooms. This means we had our own tvs so no fighting over the remote! Check in and out was super easy.

The place wasn't that clean. We could have used some extra blankets. There was no extra soap/shampoo. Some salt and pepper packets would be a nice addition.

The accommodations were very spacious and pretty much anything we needed was there. Beach towels are not available but that’s in the listing and we came with our own, but they do have beach chairs, what looked like a stroller, and a canopy perhaps? We only used one chair. The parking was more complex to locate upon arrival than I anticipated after having stayed in and visiting the area several times over the years, and eating at the bar below even. The walk back and forth from the parking area to the stairs up to the rooms was fine and not a deal breaker, after that initial difficulty. The key lock however was extremely frustrating and would take multiple tries and force to open, even after the owner came out to check on it. A locksmith should probably replace it. The sound proofing was really good, I didn’t need white noise or earplugs, but there is loud on going construction outside and I did hear that in the morning.
I didn’t anticipate the stairs or being part of a building with other rental spaces to be an issue, but ultimately staying at this location I learned I do have preferences for otherwise.
If the lock and key are fixed, and you have stayed a location similar to this before (stairs+park and walk+building with other rental units in close proximity) I recommend it. The space itself is, again, very nice and overall it was an acceptable home base for the duration of our trip.
