Situated in Moclips, this attractive house for R 6,428 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This beach house is a beautiful three bedroom, two full bath retreat with a fully-equipped, modern kitchen. This warm, comfortable beach home has beds for six (2 queens, 1 double). Up to 8 allowed, but bring your own air mattresses, or sleep on the sofa! And your pets are very welcome here - no weight limits, no pet fee. The home is situated right on the beach with private access, literally steps away - 49 paces to the sand. Enjoy kite flying, 'beach golf,' leisurely walks, and the cold Pacific water for those who dare a dip. Wish for a beautiful sunset & a dramatic storm. Or just spend a relaxing day on the beach, with your accommodations just steps away. Want to see some sights? The locale of Moclips makes it nicely situated for day trips to the Olympic National Park’s rainforests and wild ocean beaches. Day trips to Lake Quinault, the Hoh rain forest, Ruby Beach and Kalaloch Lodge are within easy reach. Ocean Shores is a 20 minute jaunt down the scenic coast (highway 109) with shops, restaurants, beach festivals, and the Quinault casino. A two-night stay in Moclips can be worked into a terrific Pacific Northwest tour. Northern destinations include Forks (scenic setting of Twilight), Hurricane Ridge or a ferry to Victoria on Vancouver Island of British Columbia. This is a great place for lots of beach fun, quiet solitude or Olympic Peninsula adventure. NOTE RE CELL PHONES: Cell service throughout the Moclips area is poor, and more so at the house. There are only a few spots in the house where voice may be possible, depending on your service provider (Verizon seems to work best), a few more spots where texting works. There is a VOIP landline, free service for domestic long distance calls. NOTE RE TV: The only T.V. is in the bedroom with the trundle bed, there is a limited selection of videos and DVDs. The T.V. is a 32" smart flat screen, with wireless connectivity for Netflix, Hulu, etc., and it's easy to move to another room. There are additional cable outlets in the other downstairs bedroom, and in the loft, but no extra hook-up cables. The cable channel selection is limited, see the basic cable lineup at Coast Communications.

Typical of Washington winters it was a bit rainy and overcast for our stay. That does make this property or our experience any less amazing and walking the beach with that misty magic was fantastic! Close by are several geocaches as well as a funky museum and the charming town of Seabrook. We enjoyed getting out and about and listening to the roar of the waves throughout the days. Definitely worth a repeat visit! (We had 6 adults and 2 dogs and were very comfortable)

This house is the PERFECT coastal getaway. It’s an ideal location to look at and hear the ocean and walk down to enjoy it with the pups. The kitchen has modern appliances and and setup well to cook together. The spare rain coats and rain boots were such a nice touch to help us enjoy a rainy evening attempting to get some clams! We loved our stay with the dogs and will be back again:

Awesome property, even better than in the pictures! All the amenities you’d want, yet still with that beach cabin vibe. Close access to the beach (thanks for building the boardwalk so we can walk over the muck!!) and our little 4 legged friend felt very welcomed with his own basket of towels, bowls and tennis balls! We have been renting cabins in Moclips for decades, and this one is definitely going on the short list!!!

The home was amazing with a gorgeous view of the beach and it was so close it made it that much more pleasurable to take the dogs down for walks every day. We will definitely be going back for all our beach trips!

We had a wonderful time and will highly recommend this place to others (I already have). Very spacious, fabulous view, amazing loft and view, very clean, and well stocked with supplies. It's always hard to find a place that will allow dogs, and 2 no less! The place was right on the beach and it was a short jaunt along a private plank path to the water. We loved that we could completely detach and relax. It was very comfortable and we spent hours listening to the ocean from the deck. We will definitely come back to stay! This place was awesome! It has a phenomenal view and an excellent path directly to the beach. Its decently private and it’s only about 7 minutes from Seabrook. We would totally stay here again. My whole family loved it!

Wonderful house, worked quite well for our family. It is clean and very well stocked. The microwave was not working, but we got along fine without it. Path to the beach was easy and close. The weather was beautiful, and we had a great time! Thanks for sharing your home!

This was our 4th year on Sunset. We were happy to have found this home as other listings have gone. Everything you need is there. Beds are great! The warm outdoor shower for rinsing sand is awesome. Privacy is great. Beach trail perfect. One thing I would add is some curtains for the upstairs master and the upper windows of the living room. It was a bit of a challenge to use the dinning table in the afternoon with the Sun. We had a GREAT stay. Will Be back!

Amazing views of the ocean from the house. Well equipped kitchen with everything needed to cook meals. House was very clean and had everything we needed. So nice having a path to the beach right outside your door. Enjoyed walking along the beach, watching the seagulls eat the crabs that got washed ashore, and watching the sun sink into the ocean at the end of the day. Even saw a bald eagle sitting on a log on the beach. About a 40 minute drive to the Lake Quinault area (recommend hiking the Quinnault Loop Trail). Would love to come back and relax by the ocean.

We enjoyed this house. The beds need to be redone, for two couples, linens as well as sizes, but we made them work ok for two couples with one sleeping on a bunk bed as the available beds are queen (me) and double (not for 2 people). Good for kids only. Kitchen was great. The path to the beach is made of wooden planks and works GREAT!

Perfect secluded beach house on a quiet little dead end street right on the dunes. 5min or less private walkway to the ocean beach… you can’t get better than that. Views day and night are stunning no matter what the coastal weather throws at you. Highly recommend…. Third time ourselves renting the place.

For our family reunions, we rent 3 houses on Sunset Drive each year in Moclips. This one is highly recommended. It has It's own easy access to the beach and a beautiful view from both the ground floor and the upper suite. The owners are super easy to work with. Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely will be back.

Gosh what is not to love about this gorgeous place at the beach! In addition to a great location and a quick walk to the vast beach, it is so well outfitted. The kitchen is so well equipped it is easy to fix your own meals, or you can spend time reading a book, or playing games by the gas fireplace. Plenty of space in the master bedroom loft with the magnificent view to wake up to. The view is outstanding as you prepare your dinner on the kitchen island as well. Basically this place has most everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Of course the highlight is enjoying the beautiful beach and we did plenty of that during our short stay. Basically this is a very well tended VRBO and it has great attention to detail and is very clean. A few notes: we brought our own drinking water. Past experience is that we prefer our own to local water. Bring your own favorite body soap - none was provided. The gas BBQ is slow cooking so if you plan to use it, plan for that. We plan to come back! Thanks to the Host for making this stay possible.

This place was just as described if not better. Clean, comfortable, outstanding view and pretty easy access to the beach. I came down with a cold durring my stay, so I mostly enjoyed the beach through the window but it was lovely.

This place had it all and then some! We absolutely loved the house. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the owners were very generous about sharing what they had. The view of the beach and ocean was fantastic. We watched the waves and many birds flit about the willows. We even had a bald eagle sit on the post in front of the house one morning. The beach was easy to walk because it was flat and the sand packed. We both slept well on the comfy bed.

We loved the place and never left. It was great, well equipped kitchen and nice furniture. Two convenient bathrooms. Only con for us was we were too big to “bunk” together in full beds, would be nice to have kings. But with the couch we made it work. The view is unmatched and you are so close to the beach!!!

This is our second time visiting this home and we thoroughly enjoyed it once again. The house is very clean, has the most beautiful view, and is just steps from the beach. The boots are a nice touch. Let’s us walk in the water without getting our ankles wet. Will be back again.

Absolutely loved this cabin! We have stayed at several beach cabins and this was the best. Outstanding views, beautiful and clean cabin, lovely neighborhood. The trail to the beach was just the right amount of adventure for our 4 yo. The beach was amazing. We had a fantastic stay.

Gave 4 stars as the place needs some upgrading. Holes in the dining room walls. Many lights need bulbs. Towels and linen need to be changed out. Door off patio not latching properly. Just needs some TLC. Tv in small bedroom only one in house. Positives great location, beach right there,. Fully stocked, quiet.
