About this house rental
Situated in Surfside Beach, this lovely house for R 10,591 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Named 'Southern Comfort', this beautiful home is one of Surfside Beach's most family friendly homes. Surfside Beach is called 'The Family Beach', a relaxed family-oriented community close enough to enjoy the activities of Myrtle Beach, but still offering everything you need without leaving the Surfside Beach area. The home is located one and one-half blocks from the beach, fishing pier, a handful of great restaurants and much more. Our home offers a private heated pool within a fenced in courtyard. Pets are not allowed. We offer four bedrooms all with connecting full baths. Downstairs has a bedroom with two queen-size beds. Upstairs has the master bedroom with a king-size bed, the middle bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom offers two queen-size beds. There are ceiling fans throughout, and interior window shutters throughout for a great night’s sleep and granite in the kitchen. Nightly rental (three night minimum) is available in early spring and fall. *****Our cancellation policy is as follows: you will be refunded the amount paid for your stay within 60 days of your reservation or once your week has been rebooked. Please note, sheets and towels are not provided. Most of our guest use vacation equipment rentals to obtain these. Their phone number is 843-215-2700. My family and I were a group of 10 ranging in age from 8-71. The house was perfect for us. It was clean and comfortable. The owner was quick to respond when there was a minor issue with the TV in den. Problem was solved quickly. The pool was a great feature because we have a couple in our group who tire of the beach quickly. It was a very short walk to the beach, the pier (which wasn't open yet unfortunately) and several resturants. We enjoyed a wonderful fun-filled family vacation.

This house was perfect for our stay. A group of mid 50s high school buddies getting together. It's a couple blocks from the pier/beach and a handful of fun bars and great food. We really didn't need to get in the car all week, it was the perfect spot, walked just about everywhere.
House was in impeccable shape, clean and had everything one needs for a wonderful vacation. You do have to rent linens for the beds but reasonably priced and for what's needed for this house, the rental place delivers for free and picked them up at the end the week. The pool was such a nice touch, perfect temperature. We had some cooler temps so at night and in the morning the heated pool was exactly what we needed
Can't say enough about this place, Betty, owner, was amazing, great communication and extremely kind and hospitable. If you're ever in the Myrtle Beach area, Surfside Beach to be exact, just minutes from Myrtle Beach, and need a place that sleeps twelve, but 7 old high school buddies quite comfortably, you can't go wrong with this property, we had a blast!

We absolutely loved this property. It's clean, spacious and adorable. We rented a golf cart for the week and rarely used our vehicle.so many things were within walking or golf carting distance. The owners are the nicest people!! You willnot regret renting here. We will be back :)

This was our first time visiting Surfside. It was great! We had such a great time enjoying the short walk to the beach, and the great private pool. The house was so clean and was so roomy for us 6 people. Would highly recommend this house!

The Grandest Stay!
Southern Comfort was the best! Our grands were on Fall break and this was a half way point for us to meet. It was clean, spacious, in a great location. The host were outstanding and easily accessible. We will visit again!

Very nice property at Surfside Beach
Loved having our own pool especially with 2 toddlers. We rented a golf cart which helped when going to the beach, again with toddlers and all their "stuff". Owners are very responsive and delightful to work with!

Family vacation
This beach house was everything that we expected and more . We had 7 adults and 3 children staying there and had plenty of room to spread out. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed to cook meals and grill out while we were there. Very easy walk and access to the beach. We rented a golf cart and it made carrying all our "toys " to the beach alot easier and then drove it to get ice cream almost every night . The private pool was nice when we had had enough of the beach. The house was set up so that our entire family plus another family could enjoy playing games together in the evening. Betty and Jim were always available via phone call or text . I highly recommend this house and the owners! Thank you Betty and Jim for a fun week !

We had an amazing time at Surfside Beach. The house was perfect for our group of 10. Close enough to the beach to satisfy everyone and the onsite pool was a great bonus. The house was immaculate and roomier than we pictured. We would gladly stay there again!

This is a beautiful home! Just a 2 minute walk to the beach. There are a few restaurants close by as well as some souvenir shops. We loved the heated pool as we were there in March. The owners were very nice and timely with answers to questions. Highly recommend!

We loved the house. Clean, easy, perfect for kids. The fenced in pool made our trip! We ate at the pier 2x, had delicious seafood with minimal hassle. It was perfect for 6 adults, 7 kids!

We stayed at Southern Comfort for our Nephew's beach wedding in May. We had 7 people in the home (3 couples and a single adult). The home is beautiful. Very well decorated, very clean and new inside. The appliances were very good and everything we needed was provided. The owners responded quickly to any questions, and were very friendly. The walk to the beach, pier, dining was only a minute or two. The location is fantastic. I would definitely stay in this home again if I get to return to Myrtle Beach.

This was our first time staying at Southern Comfort and we couldn't ask for a better experience. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the beach house. It was clean and the perfect size for our 3 families. Having our own pool was amazing!!!! Our walk to the beach took less than two minutes. Everything we needed was close by (AWESOME location). Having 2 balconies was great for relaxing or taking a break from the sun. We spent most of our time at the house hanging out making wonderful family memories. Thank you so much Betty!!! This was a trip that all our families will remember forever. We will be back!!

Another lovely stay at Southern Comfort
We had stayed at the Southern Comfort two years ago and enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to come back again this year and rent out both homes, Southern Comfort and Beach Retreat for our extended family. We love this home and what you see in the photos is exactly what you get.
Betty is so easy to work with and this time we had the chance to meet her!! Thanks so much Betty and Jim for letting us share in the use of your home!
Hope to be back in the Surfside area in the next couple of years and this is one place that we will rent again and again!!

Wonderful
Everything about Southern Comfort is as it is described and pictured on VRBO. The house is in great condition, it is fully stocked and beautifully furnished, the grounds and pool are well-maintained, and the location is perfect in Surfside Beach. And most importantly, the owners are honest and caring. We have been to Southern Comfort twice, and if we can, we will be returning again.

Amazing vacation
This is our second year staying at Southern Comfort and it is by far our favorite place!! The house is beautiful, clean, and extremely spacious!!! So close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc!! Making this trip is a definite October trip yearly and maybe adding another long weekend too! I highly recommend staying here!
