The Kinley Manor Coach House Caters to business people, guests from out of town, people on sabbaticals, extended stay travelers, board, or professional retreats. We are located five minutes from downtown; ten minutes from Portland State University, fifteen minutes from Oregon Health Sciences University; and about 20 minutes from the airport. The Kinley Manor Coach House can also serve as your home base and gateway to The Columbia Gorge, Multnomah Falls, Mount Hood and the Oregon Coast. Along with offering our Kinley Manor Guest House, we also offer car rental, airport pickup and drop off. If you are interested in renting our 2014 Toyota Prius V five series and can contact us about our car rental service through the website Turo. You can also choose our airport pickup and drop-off services through the site, it will cost $50 round trip. If you would like airport pick up without car rental it is $30 each way. The Coach House is very close to major bus lines and blocks from the Lloyd Center light rail Max station, many bus lines and the Portland Streetcar. Excellent overall. We were treated like old friends by the property owners, very accommodating and casual. The property itself was very nice, really exceeded our expectations. Definitely would choose to stay here again!

From the date of my payment, March 8, to the date of our stay, commencing July 20, we heard nothing whatsoever from the owners, despite their statement in the acceptance. "I'll be in touch with more details before you arrive". We flew to Portland on July 20. arriving approximately 3:30PM. We took a taxi to the site, arriving a little after 4PM. There was a knocker, which we tried several times, with no response. There was a transparent plastic container which was empty other than what looked like spider webs. There was no sign of life in the building and no instructions that we could find. After a while we decided we had no choice but to find another place to stay. My companion looked at several hotel sites on her cell phone and we found a place to stay. She called for a Uber at 4:47 PM and we left. After we checked in at the hotel and I had WiFi access I found 2 Emails on my tablet with messages from the owner wondering where we were and telling us that they tried to call me. They only had my home phone, and I learned when I got back home that they called starting at 11AM on Saturday. Obviously flying from Tucson via Salt Lake City, we had to leave much earlier than that. They asked why I hadn't called them. Of course, they had never given me a phone number so there was no way I could call. I have requested a refund from the owners. They have declined.
