About this house rental
We have thought of everything you could possibly need while enjoying our 5 bedroom home with 3 1/2 baths that sleeps 10. This house is minutes from Middleton Bridge. We are situated on corner lot with complete view of ocean and 20 steps to beach. We also have a complete full view of the marsh as well, We have 4 decks, 3 of which are covered. The front upper deck gets an ocean breeze all day. Stay cool on the back upper deck when the sun reaches its highest. Both decks get fabulous views of both sunrise and sunset. Main living on 2nd floor. Our Kitchen has a Gas Stove Top perfectly situated so you can cook while entertaining guests. Completely stocked with ice maker, butcher block and bar that seats 4. We have also stocked kitchen with plenty of oils, spices and other items you need to save time and money while shopping for your stay. The bar overlooks the dining room that seats 10. Our living room is well appointed with large screen TV, games and videos, wireless internet for family fun. All 5 Bedrooms have BRAND NEW BEDS and with TV/Cable. The Master is located on 2nd floor There is Parking for 4+ cars Outside shower, beach chairs and beach games for your use.

The house was perfect. Clean, and the view couldnot have been better
Loved every second...except for the stingray bite my son got but we learned allot about rays! This home is so much better in person. Note-there is not an outlet for a gold car but you really will not need one..literally 20 steps to the beach!

The house was perfect for a week at the beach. It is just a very short walk to a great part of the beach on Oak Island. There was plenty of beach equipment including chairs but bring your own shade. The house was well-stocked and is only a short drive to a nice Publix There are steep stairs to the 3rd floor so you need to keep an eye on toddlers. We all loved the house and would definitely stay there again.

The location of this house is great as the beach access is right across the street. The water views are just as described and beautiful. We had 9 people in our party and the 5 bedrooms were perfect for our large group. The house is decorated nicely and the furniture is very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked but there were a few things missing from the amenities: no hair dryers, ironing board or paper products. There are a few items that need some TLC. Natural wear and tear on a rented beach house. Overall the house was great for us and our stay.

This property is in a great location just across the street from the beach, and close to several grocery stores, restaurants, fish markets, and mini-golfing. The view from the back of the beach was great and we ate outside almost every night. Nice sized kitchen with everything you need to cook at home. We appreciated the selection of puzzles and family games, especially on the day it rained all day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving week at this wonderful beach house! The house was spacious enough to have all of our kids join us, and the house was also fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cookware, etc. We enjoyed walks on the beach, a beach bonfire on Thanksgiving evening, and fishing at The Point as well as on the pier. While we dont go on vacation with the thought of watching TV, we were very impressed that each room had quality "smart TV's" in them. Nice touch. It was just a spectacular week! We hope to rent this home again in the future. Thank you so much!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving week at this wonderful beach house! The property is in great location and the house is spacious with great views and easy access to the beach. I would recommend installing a small outside dumbwaiter or similar for getting groceries to the kitchen on the top floor. .

Very clean and dynamite location. Owners were great to work with! Cross the street to hit the beach with lots of space for parking for bigger families. Only suggestion for owners was that they need to update the range - quite disappointing for a property with this kind of price tag, but overall experience absolutely terrific vacation. Thank you!!!

The house was located directly across from the beach access which was super convenient for our surf fishing weekend. Loved the views both front and back from the upper decks - awesome place to hang out when the fish weren't biting. The house was clean, lots of bedrooms and fit all of our needs. I definitely recommend.

We rented with our family from 5years old to 65 years old. The owners were great to work with. Proximity to the beach was fantastic. The house layout was great for our family, was clean, and had everything we needed. We HIGHLY recommend this property!

beach access and views
The beach access was great and the views from the decks were outstanding. The house is very roomy but it has many stairs to the kitchen which would be a hindrance if you are not a good stair climber. the cabinets were well stocked and plenty of dishes and cookware. very enjoyable stay

Amazing beachfront property seconds to the water!
This home is a gem. The house has everything you need to enjoy a week away at the beach. The best thing about the house (besides the fact that it's across the street from the beach) is the layout. It has a great kitchen that is fully stocked that's open to the dining area and living area which makes family game night or dinners much more enjoyable. The living area extends to a deck that has the most amazing views of the beach. It's minutes away from local stores for groceries and liquor. It also has plenty of parking and quick access to fishing points including the pier. Dan was very helpful and was able to answer every question we had! We will 100% be staying here again.

Peaceful Repose!
This home is absolutely beautiful! It was better than described. The kitchen was fully stocked, amazing views, and everything you could ask for to make you feel right at home in this upscale beach home. Dan was very nice and an excellent communicator as well. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt rejuvenated and peaceful by staying in Dan's bright and tranquil home. In reminiscing about our trip, we would highly recommend Dan's shore home and would stay in it again! Thank you Dan and family!

Nice place and location
The house is located across the street from the beach and is a very nice home. There are a few things that would have made this a 5 star review.
-water was out when we arrived and it took several hours to restart
-the beds desperately need new mattress thruout the house. A couple beds felt like you were laying on box springs
- the outdoor grill is ready for the junkyard and on the verge of being dangerous
- we don't believe an inspection was done prior to our arrival evident by the 2 dead roaches we found near the stairs and the layer of grime on the windows
Minor items but when you pay that much for a week you kinda expect a little better

Nice house with a few (not so good) surprises
This house is perfectly situated on a corner very near the beach. The den and kitchen were very nice. The surprises? The beds weren't made, no bikes as listed (we spent nearly $100 to rent for a day,) one bed advertised as a queen was a full, the original listing (now changed) said 4 baths (there are actually 3 and a half,) there was sand in the floor of the master shower. The owner told me they don't hire a cleaning company, however, you pay $150 for an advertised housekeeper. No offer was made to reimburse for the housekeeping fee, even though I asked.

Family Fun Time
We had a blast! The house was perfect. You can't beat the location or the views. Directly across from beach access. We got to see about 80 sea turtles emerge from the nest in the sand and head to the ocean. The whole trip was amazing. The house was beautifully decorated and fully stocked in the kitchen with all the utensils and dishes you might need including spices! We loved sitting on the upper deck late in the afternoon watching the sun set. Loved, loved, loved the house.
