About this house rental
Welcome to our home! I will do my best to make your stay comfortable and memorable. I clean and sanitize thoroughly. Our home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths that comfortably sleeps up to 8. It is centrally located, just minutes from downtown (the convention center and stadium), close to the World Famous Omaha Zoo, the Nebraska Medical Center, Creighton University, and many restaurants and shops. The updated kitchen has new appliances, laundry with a new washer/dryer, and a fireplace. There are 3 bedrooms-1 has a king, 1 with a queen bed, and 1 large open room in the lower level with a queen bed and 2 twins. The back deck with privacy fence, and a large front porch with a porch swing to relax.

The house on Mayberry was welcoming and a pleasure to wake up in and to come home to.
We quickly learned the nuances of the home and settled right in. The quiet of the neighborhood and the comfort of the beds made waking delayed. Decorated for Christmas added an additional welcoming touch.

This home was magnificent and truly made our holiday special! I would highly recommend it if visiting the area. It is extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked to prepare almost anything. We had a fantastic time in this home!

This property is in a quiet and safe neighborhood not far from the market/capital district. (Less than a $10 Uber drive). This cozy bungalow house is very clean and well maintained. I wish the weather would have been nicer. It also has a cute back yard/outdoor sitting area. We would stay here again. My only complaint…. The furniture is outdated.

Gayle was quickly responsive to questions/issues. She was also flexible about our schedule since we had no way to know if our wrestler would be eliminated the first day. We all agreed it was far superior to being in a hotel. Thanks again Gayle

Gayle and Doug were great. We definitely appreciated the home being decorated for the holidays and how well stocked it was - everything we needed in the kitchen, good lotion, soft towels, etc. Washer and dryer were probably the best any of us have seen or used.. The 3 main beds were super comfy - we didn't use the others. Doug came over immediately and helped us start the fireplace. We would definitely stay there again. The only issue was typical old house charms of people downstairs could hear all movements upstairs and upstairs folks could hear everything downstairs folks were doing through the vents if they didn't go to sleep at same time as the rest of the house.

Lovely and restful stay, family met in Omaha and we were able to relax, cook, game, visit, etc! Especially appreciated the kitchen amenities.

The house was very clean, and we loved all of the original detail in the house - from the original woodwork to the fireplace to the bathroom tub. It's within 10 minutes to most of the attractions in Omaha, which was very nice with 2 young children and an infant! Communication with the property manager was really good, and we appreciated her timely responses. We would definitely recommend this stay!

This is a quaint home, comfortably appointed and in a fabulous location. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay there again next time we are in town. The hosts were attentive, considerate and very accommodating.

Midtown Historic Home
Wonderful time in Omaha, this house is in a perfect location, close to everything. Street was quiet and neighbors were friendly. Kids loved the basement! Highly recommend.

The house was well stocked and cozy. We had a great time playing the piano and enjoying the patio and resident bunnies in the backyard. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed reading about the renovation and renewal of this historic home.

Lovely home and excellent location
The home was welcoming, cozy, and very well appointed. The location was conveniently located with easy and quick access to restaurants, downtown, and the airport. Gayle made check in/out very easy and was very accessible. We likely will be returning more frequently to Omaha over the next few years and this will be our place to stay.

Wonderful home
My mom and I met in Omaha for a long weekend - a mother/daughter getaway. We stayed at this great house. Gayle has thought of everything you might need. We typically had coffee in the morning and then went out for the day, exploring Omaha. It was great weather. The house was warm, cozy, the beds were SUPER comfortable, we had plenty of places to charge our devices, the bathrooms were super clean and check in/check out was super clear. Great place!

Loved the house! Booking and communication with the owner was smooth and seamless. This home is very centrally located to just about everything you want to do. It is a short three block walk to UNMC and a few minute walk to the black stone district which has great restaurants and and vibrant social scene that is great for couples or family.
Overall the house was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and filled with lots of charming older homes. Would definitely book this one again if we are ever in Omaha.

well as comfortable. The kitchen came with new appliances, a coffee maker complete with an assortment of coffee,
and a generous compliment of kitchen ware and supplies. The washer & dryer were new, and our host supplied plenty of laundry supplies. Gayle, our very hospitable host, made herself readily
available for questions and information on the area. We loved the house and regretted our stay was so short, but we hope to return some day.

My extended family of seven (5 adults and 2 teens) were very comfortable and able to spread out a bit for a family event in Omaha. Fully-stocked kitchen with pots and pans, utensils, towels, etc... highly recommend and will rent again when back in town to visit family
