Great Myrtle Beach location on the quieter south end of Myrtle Beach. Meticulously maintained unit with an oversized direct oceanfront private balcony. Grand Atlantic Resort is close to all of the attractions that you would expect from Myrtle Beach, and is located in a family friendly locale. Enjoy perfect sunrises from your balcony as well gazing at the ocean and all its beauty! 3 outdoor pools, 3 indoor pools, and a lazy river are all featured at the smoke-free Grand Atlantic Ocean Resort. The indoor pools are heated year round and the outdoor pools are heated until it gets very cold. Bring the family and enjoy the children's pool, arcade/game room, and kid-friendly dining. A fitness center, free parking, and a restaurant are also offered. This oceanfront condo offers Free WiFi and 4TVs all Flat-screens including a 55 inch smart TV in the living room, and smart TVs in all bedrooms, a DVD player in the living room. Kitchen is fully equipped and includes, microwave, and coffee maker. The kitchen cabinets have been refaced and all mattresses and box springs have been replaced as of November 2021. There is a full size washer and dryer in a separate closet. This condo features ceiling fans in all 3 bedrooms and the living room. There is an electric fireplace that is sure to please the winter tenant. The condo feature all new living and dining room furniture including a new sofa. new tile backsplash and granite counter tops in the kitchen. All new stainless appliances plus new Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring. EVERYTHING in the condo has been updated and replaced. Property is close to all that Myrtle Beach has to offer including, The Sky wheel, Jimmy Buffets, Second Avenue Pier, Broadway @ the Beach, Landsharks, Cal Ripken, & the Boardwalk as well as the Myrtle Beach International Airport. Unit is rated a Luxury Rental Please note that rent is plus sales tax and fees. The home DOES NOT ALLOW SMOKING NOR PETS and HOUSE PARTIES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED!!! WE DO NOT ALLOW CHAPERONED GROUPS OF ANY KIND.. (This property does not allow boats, trailers nor motorcycles. You may ONLY have parking permits for up to 2 vehicles. Also pets are not allowed nor is the discharge of fireworks from the property, nor is the use of laser pointers.) UNIT DOES NOT ALLOW SMOKING AND IS DESIGNATED A NON-SMOKING UNIT. This unit has a minimum age requirement of 25 years of age and the booking is to a group of individuals then all persons in a group have to be over the age of 25 years. This does not apply to mother and fathers with children albeit in those cases the parents must be over the age of 25. Rental Agreement is required!

Very nice well maintained condo, unfortunetly when we arrived we knew the offices would be closed. The property manager had kindly mailed me the key which was great. We arrived approx 3 hours prior to check in but couldn’t get in which we knew could possibly happen no big deal. At 4 pm when we tried to get into to our place the keys were not working. Tried to get ahold of property managers but they were closed for the holidays. After an hour or so the maintenance guy was able to try and trace our key for us but we were unable to have everyone leave as we would get locked out until we got the keys re done to allow access inside. All 4 keys didn’t work. We finally did get the maintenance guy to make all the keys work. When I called the next day and the office was open they didn’t seem to care that we were inconvienced at all with this and just said oh well
Overall the place was very nice. The parking garage is pretty tight so be careful when driving.

Our condo (902) was a short walk with easy access to the beach. The condo was very nicely renovated, exactly like the pictures reflected. It was also very clean and well equipped. Only suggestion would be to include a hold bar and slip proof mat for the inside of bath tubs. We would definitely recommend this condo and wouldn’t hesitate reserving for future visits. The amenities were very nice as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was the second time we’ve stayed in this condo. We love it! It feels like home away from home. All of the beds are comfortable and the furniture throughout the condo is beautiful. Everything you need to “dine in” is there. The pools are an extra bonus on top of the beach access. We’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay here at Myrtle beach! The unit was very clean and decorated beautifully. The beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Would definitely stay here again and we had a great time with family.

It was beautiful, the view, the decor, the area was spectacular. We had the master room, Wonderful. My daughter had the Queen size bedroom. My other daughter and her husband had the double bed room. That was alittle tight due to her having a king bed at home, but they made it work.

Condo was even better than the pictures. Very clean and even offered beach items (chairs, umbrella, sand toys, etc.), which I hadn’t expected. The multiple pools were great, which helped with overcrowding. Only real issue was the parking garage is small and the spaces are very tight. Plus there are limited restaurants nearby, but not a huge issue as we mainly ate at the condo. Walmart was very close and easily accessible.

Where to start...the balcony of our property was fantastic. The ocean was amazing. The condo unit itself was clean and well decorated but was much smaller than it appeared in the pictures. The unit did have everything we needed-towels, bedding, kitchen items and beach items. However, the double beds wouldn't fit two kids and definitely not two adults.
There were cockroaches in the stairwells and a smell of pot everywhere. The game room was dirty and not much of a game room .
The location was awful. There was nothing to walk to. IDK why the property says walk to Boardwalk. When we did go out for a walk my family and I did not feel safe. The only other people out were shady...druggies or homeless.
Our vacation started by being told our keys wouldn't work and we had to be at the property before 4pm to get new ones, or we would be charged $25 dollars. Note check in is at 4! Further...there was a parking pass missing from the room. We were told it would be dropped off around 6pm but it never came. I called the emergency line for Carolina Resorts at least 5 times over the course of 4 hours. EACH TIME I WAS PROMISED A CALL BACK BUT NO ONE EVER CALLED. Finally,I emailed someone from Carolina Resorts, who was very nice, and she called me and said the pass would arrive soon. It finally was delivered after 11 pm. We had three young kids.
The worst part was that the pool water ruined my kids hair, gave the kids rashes, and completely ruined my brand new bathing suit.

The property is as described and was very spacious. We had some issues getting into the room, as the room key that was sent did not open the door. It was very frustrating after a long drive but the after hours number got me in contact with the property manager. The property manager told us to go to the front desk and the front desk begrudgingly sent maintenance to open the door after telling us this was not okay. Thankfully the keys inside the unit worked so we had no more issues with the door. The unit could have been cleaner as we found a crab claw under the chair, a snickers wrapper in the bed sheets and hair left on the edge of the tub. Overall with some easy fixes this could be a great rental experience. The unit and the hotel amenities were was well represented in the photos.

People were very difficult to deal with. Our room key would not open the door. The lady said she would refund the stay but the next morning she said she couldn't. I was in town following the loss of my husband and went to the area to see his sister who had just had cancer surgery. I couldn't say if the accomodations were clean or anything about the apartment because we never got inside to see. I have never had an experience like this before. Please consider using any rental company other than this one. The resort rented us an apartment.

My favorite feature of this property is the large balcony that directly overlooks the ocean, and the fact that the sand is just steps away from the pools. We also love Scooby's (a small shop that has anything and everything you could want -- ice cream, snack bar type food for quick lunch/dinner, mixed drinks served in a fishbowl!). Miniature golf, grocery store and souvenir shops were a short walk away, plus the Tanger Outlets, water park and go-karts were a 15-minute drive. We are already trying to plan our next vacation, because the Grand Atlantic has obviously become a tradition!!

This condo unit is absolutely wonderful - the moment you walk in you can see the ocean! This particular unit was recommended to us by a family friend, who had enjoyed it the year before. The unit has been updated - it's clean, fresh and inviting. The balcony is spectacular with both the outdoor furniture that is provided and the views. The unit contains a full size stackable washer/dryer which comes in handy for laundering your beach towels as well as the bath towels/etc in the unit. It's situated in a great location, including a great smaller restaurant (DeLisi's) at the condo unit next door.

The unit was very nice and optimal for our 10 person family. Good location being south of the busy area, but still close enough to everything. Property pools were great to have during the really hot hours and at night. Scooby's was an awesome take out place right at the property. We got food from there everyday. There are a few suggestions. The dishwasher wouldn't work. We were okay with that since we didn't produce many dirty dished, but it would've been nice to have it. Also, the shower curtains need to be higher. They were too low and you'd step on them and could trip. Renting was easy and communication was good. I opted to go directly through Carolina Resorts Realty instead of going through VRBO. I think it was much easier that way and I liked the one-on-on with the staff. I think they should put how they accommodate the sleeping arrangements. I had questions and they answered them, but it would've been nice to see it in black and white. Overall, it was a great spot for a family vacation.

winter rental
We have been to the Grand Atlantic many times. We love the location and property. We had a plumbing problem brought to the attention of the property manager first week there. It took 6 weeks to remedy the problem which was a major inconvenience.
Still no lock on one slider as seen in past reviews. This was also brought to their attention. Check in and checkout was very easy. I like that option. We plan on returning to the Grand Atlantic next year.
