Rosies Place is a completely renovated studio apartment with a luxurious look and feel, especially designed for people who want to have a nice holiday break in Amsterdam. Rosies Place is situated in the Jordaan, which is right in the city center of Amsterdam, within the so-called canal ring. Our house is tucked away in a small quite street of the Jordaan. Around the corner you will find restaurants, bars, shops, galleries, markets and lot’s more. Also the museums are close by. Even closer is the Anne Frank House. Rosies Place is on the first floor of our house, accessible by a steep staircase. It’s more than suitable for 2/3 adults or 2 adults with 2 small children. It has a king size bed and a sofa which we can convert into a single bed or double bed. You have a dining bar, which sit 2/3 adults and a design rocking chair. Candles for a romantic touch are everywhere in Rosies Place. The kitchen is fully equipped, beside the dishwasher (really important), two induction hobs, fridge, microwave, you will find coffee, tea, milk, sugar, oil and herbs. If you want we can provide breakfast at any time in the morning. Just let us know. The bathroom has a big rain and hand shower. Towels, soap and shampoo (from Rituals) are provided for you. If you need clean towels just drop them outside in the washing bin and you will have clean ones immediately. The terrace has SUN ! What else can we say. Sun in the morning for your coffee, sun during your lunch, sun in the afternoon drinking your beer or wine. But it’s Holland so keep your fingers crossed that the sun will shine :-) On arrival you will find in Rosies Place : A nice bottle of white wine (or red if you prefer) Coffee from Nespresso Tea from Mr. Jones Dutch cookies Plus a citymap of Amsterdam. Your bed is already made up and bathroom linen, soap and shampoo (from Rituals) is provided for. Of course you have free WiFi in Rosies Place. The only thing we ask of you is that you respect our simple house rules: please don’t do drugs in or around our home. Smoking of normal cigarettes can be done on the balcony not inside and last but not least no partying. Thank you so much. We hope we may welcome you in Rosies Place and our home.

Description and photos accurately reflect the place. We had everything we needed and location was perfect for exploring Amsterdam by foot or tram. Astrid, thanks for the tip on pre-booking museum tickets and getting us our cab! We really enjoyed our time.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay at Rosie’s Place! Astrid is so kind and helpful and available if we had any questions or needs. The location can not be beat, the beds are SO comfy, the area is peaceful and close to everything! The apartment itself has everything you could need to have a fabulous stay in Amsterdam! Astrid even arranged a taxi for us back to the train station the early morning we left! Amsterdam is amazing in every way and staying at Rosie’s place was perfection! No negatives what so ever- unless of course you have a hard time climbing steep stairs!
If so be warned- everywhere in Amsterdam has steep tiny stairs!! Just be careful, go slow and you will be okay!

This was our first time in Amsterdam. Rosie’s place was wonderful, exceeded all our expectations! The hosts were absolutely marvelous. Astrid even carried our luggage up the stairs. Which was a big help because we were not used to the Dutch stairs. They provided great info about the city, favorite places to eat, get coffee and places to see, and things to do.

This is the absolute best place to stay in Amsterdam. In the middle of everything but also very quiet location when you need to decompress from the hustle and bustle of a major city. Everything g you would ever want to eat is in easy walking distance from Astrid and Rick’s house. Groceries are nearby and also launderette. If you are there on a Saturday you don’t want to miss the market that is nearby. Astrid is a wonderful host and helped every step of the way with suggestions of where to eat, getting to their house, and other suggestions. The room is perfect with coffee, wine, and cookies to enjoy during your stay. Anne Frank is a short walk and Museumplein is a short tram ride away. We will definitely stay here again when in Amsterdam again.

Rosie's Place is an ideal place to stay in Amsterdam. Astrid and her family are lovely and welcoming. They answered our questions and even carried our bags the up one flight of stairs to the apartment. We found their recommendations for restaurants and shopping to be quite helpful. The furniture was comfortable, especially the bed and sofa – there’s even a terrace off the bedroom for sitting outside! The apartment is located in our favorite neighborhood of Jordaan, and we walked everywhere. This was our third visit to Amsterdam and by far the best place we have stayed at.

Look no further for your stay in Amsterdam! The apartment is exactly as pictured—beautiful and comfortable, with even an outdoor space! The location is great—lively neighborhood with lots of dining choices (and recommendations from the host), and walking or taking the tram to other areas is easy. Best of all, the host is amazing—from carrying luggage up the single flight of stairs, to the “extras” for the guests, to the friendly offer of assistance at any time necessary.

I felt like we hit the jackpot staying at Rosie’s place. Astrid was the best hostess! The property was in a fantastic location in the Jordaan! It was on a nice, quiet residential street but only a few blocks from restaurants, ice cream and coffee shops. We ate at La Perla Pizza and La Oliva both just down the street and recommended by Astrid. We had apple pie at Winkle’s (another great recommendation).
The tram stop was only a few blocks away. Fantastic location, close to everything! We walked most everywhere or took the tram!
Took a canal ride with Captain Dave who was great and again was a recommendation of Astrid’s!

Astrid & Rick were beyond helpful. They offered us clean dry towels if needed, not only made restaurant recco but also called and made reservations, gave us directions to Aalsmeer auction. Even carried our luggage up the stairs!
The Jordaan neighborhood is quiet with cozy local cafes, wonderful to roam the canals at night.
Rosie’s place was wonderful for a couple: totally new, nespresso pods, cookies, bottle of wine, great shower.
Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Rosie’s place was perfect for us! First of all the hosts were great. Friendly and willing to help us find our way around. We had wine, coffee pods, tea, and Dutch cookies waiting for us. The kitchen was complete and the apartment was charming. We were able to walk to Rijks and Anne Frank’s etc..We would stay there again!

It was worth the wait.....
After having to postpone so many times due to the pandemic, we finally arrived. Thanks soooo much to Astrid and Rick for rebooking so easily. The apartment is superb and it is located in a real lovely area but convenient to everything. It is equipped with everything you could think of and waa extremely comfortable. Highly recommend.

Rosie’s place is wonderful! It’s so much better than staying in a hotel! It was so fun to live like a local and it is very convenient to everything! The little apartment is very clean and comfortable! The only negative is the steep stairs, but Astrid helped us with our luggage. Astrid, Rick and their sons were so friendly and helpful! We can’t say enough good things about Rosie’s place. Modern, clean, comfortable and in a wonderful quaint area called the Jordaan area of Amsterdam. Walk to everything you need. Restaurants, gallery’s, shops all very close and just around the corner are the canals. Put your walking shoes on and explore until your hearts content. Some of the most beautiful scenery can be seen in Amsterdam. Rick and Astrid are the perfect hosts. Easy to communicate with and every comfort was thought of. I can’t wait to return to Rosie’s Place. Our hosts were delightful & nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment was so warm, clean & comfortable in a fantastic location. Perfect for couples. They even went out of their way to accommodate us when we were disrupted by the French train strike. Thank you again Astrid & Rick .
