Elevators and handicap ramps are located on each side of the complex and are easily accessible. Condos feature full size washer/dryer, flat screen TVs, and high-speed internet. Ample parking is available. * Please note Anchorage II is a SMOKE FREE building (including private balconies). Renters may smoke in the designated area at the south gazebo next to the beach walkway * No motorcycles, trailers or golf carts allowed on the property Area Information: Our condos are located just minutes from Broadway at the Beach, the downtown Boardwalk and Sky Wheel, Myrtle Waves, Barefoot landing, Tanger Outlets, NASCAR Speedpark, live theater’s and shows, golf, and restaurants. The location of this property was great. The pool was nice and the unit overlooked the ocean. We were able to enjoy both ocean and pool. It was also short drive to broadway at the beach and great restaurants. There is some areas of opportunity for the unit. The glass door in shower was broken and came off the hinges every time we used it. Maintenance did come up to put it back on. However, it broke again simply just trying to get in the shower. Somone could get hurt if its not replaced and shatters. I think it would a good idea to get new matresses for the beds. The other guests with us said their matress was not comfortable. I think for the amount we paid to rent the unit it could use some upgrades. I loved the property and we are looking into renting a different unit same floor thats a bit more bang for our buck.

Our family enjoyed our stay overall. Location was great. However, the unit is in dire need of an update. Unit was not clean and the one of the bathrooms was disgusting.

Place was amazing. Loved the extra floor bedroom and outside patio. Very clean. Had an elevator and shopping carts available for getting luggage up to room ( very helpful). Everything food, shopping, entertainment was very close and the beach was right across the street. The pool was awesome for my kids. Liked the 8ft deep section.

This was our second time staying at the Anchorage II. The last time was several years ago. In the interim, we stayed at different "beach houses". This experience was by far superior to those rentals. At the Anchorage, the beach is just across the parking lot. The shared pool is well kept and was never crowded, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. The unit included beach accessories, chairs, boogie boards, and sun shades. Interior furnishings were perfect for our family, and the beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this property.

Our condo was wonderful for our group of 6. As suspected the upstairs bedroom was not completely priveate, but it worked fine for two of our kids. We felt the condo was larger and in better condition than anticipated from the photos. The commplex felt smaller, more intimate. The beach was super close - closer than some standalone houses we have rented.
We were close to restaurants, shops - even walking distance to some. The complex is on the edge of a quiet neighborhood and in general away from the strip, big resorts, noise, etc but it was close to drive to. Overall we had a great experience and would consider staying here again.

It wasn't horrible BUT the master shower has horrible mold. The kitchen counters were sticky everywhere, the dishwasher turned on when it felt like it actually wanted to work. The sliding glass doors all need replaced. All the beds need new mattress. For how much the week cost us, we were not impressed at all

Siblings trip
The condo was very clean, and check in and check out was smooth self guided process. Really enjoyed the balconies, view, neighbors, and closeness to beach. Disappointed that the pool was closed, when I spoke with management we said that we chose this place because of the location to beach and it having a pool but was never warned that the pool was temporarily closed. All the other pools around us were open, and a few hotels down was a water park that was open. The pool opened the day we left.

Have been going to Anchorage 2 for many years.This was probably the first time I felt our rental was not clean. Kitchen not very well stocked with utensils and not enough linens for 8 people. Had to do laundry daily. We always loved staying at Anchorage. Not sure if we will return there. Have always recommended friends to stay at Anchorage. Probably won’t again. Time to try somewhere new.
