The Potter Cottage is a 1600 square foot home that was completely renovated in 2019 and sits on 4.6 acres. Stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and a tile shower are just a few of the amazing features of this home! A 50 inch television in the family room and three additional 40 inch television in the all three bedrooms add to the amenities. The home has three bedrooms, two full baths and an additional shower in the basement, the basement also has a game area and queen murphy bed to accommodate the entire family! A tankless water heater adds to the amenities (never run out of hot water)! It offers beautiful views overlooking the lake. Enjoy fishing and the beautiful views! The home has two decks to enjoy the rustic feel of this property. Serene sunsets can be viewed from the decks. The large shade trees are perfect for picnics. The home is suitable for single families or groups. A two car garage is included in rental. After a day at Holiday World, hiking, antiquing, or sightseeing The Potter Cottage is a peaceful place to relax. Children and adults alike will enjoy. The family always spends Christmas at my house for Christmas,
I wanted to try something different for a change,
This home was as advertised,
Clean, and plenty of room for everyone,
i wanted to make some memories for my family especially my grandchildren, we all had such a great time!
I wish we could leave a pic or 2 to portray the fun we had.

We just left the Potter Cottage and had a perfect weekend for our annual family Christmas trip. The house was amazing, one of the cleanest we’ve been in, and had everything we needed! We spent the weekend fishing, playing games, and just relaxing and spending time with family which was exactly what we intended to do! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

This place is wonderful! It was very clean, had a great layout, had a covered porch, as well as an open porch, large pond, even a garage you could park in, and even tetherball, which brought back such great childhood memories! Sitting on the back deck, having a glass of wine and looking out at the picturesque surroundings was perfect after a long day! I would definitely give this a 5+ star review.!

5 stars however a few comments from someone to stays at a lot of vrbos. One issue is the shower pressure in the main floor bathroom is subpar, perhaps it needs to be looked at. Also I don’t think it’s fair to list this as 4 bedrooms. We had our 3 adult children with their families use the 3 bedrooms and my husband and I stayed on the Murphy bed in the basement which is not a bedroom. Extremely noisy down there from a/c, anytime water is run, and just noise from above. Also lights are either on or off down there would be nice to have some nightstands to set glasses, phones and a small lamp on. Nothing to set anything on, also pull out couch is broken. With that being said everything else was wonderful. Beautiful yard with a tether ball! Plenty of seating indoors. Kitchen has everything you need. BBQ was great for dinners. Very clean. Will consider staying for our next visit!

We had a family get together with our three grown childen, their spouses and our grandkids. The house was perfect for our group. Lots of space to hang out together, ample seating for meals. The house was spotless and the kitchen well stocked. Loved the outside property. It's so pretty and calm there. When we return to this area, we really want to stay at this house again!

This house is amazing! It’s perfect for a large family. Very comfortable. The finished basement was perfect for my older kids and they loved the lake for fishing. I definitely recommend this house!

Christine was a great, communicative host. The home was roomy, beds are excellent, and had everything you needed. The covered porch is an excellent place to sit and watch thunderstorms roll through.

This house is very clean and has everything you need. We had a few mishaps due to an unexpected bad storm but the owner was responsive quickly to my messages and got the issues resolved. We will definitely plan to return to this vrbo in the future years to come. We had 11 people total staying; (6 kids and 5 adults). The property that the house is on is beautiful and located 5 minutes from Holiday World. Definitely recommend this property. Thanks for a great first vrbo experience.

We loved this property, lots of things to do with our family. Ping pong table for everyone to play! Lots of assortment of games provided including bags, frisbee, bat & ball, and football. The pond was a great resource for fishing and watching turtles! The owner even provided fishing 🎣 equipment! Very roomy and the entire family had plenty of room and space! This rental is a gem!

This is a very relaxing country setting. The home is well equipped with enough room and stocked kitchen for a large family it was very clean and had comfortable beds. It also is located in a great place if going to holiday world and also close to hwy 64 exit to go get meals if you desire not to cook. Host was very pleasant

My family from 3 states met here to celebrate Thanksgiving/Christmas and it was the perfect place for us. With three levels, there was plenty of room for the kids to play and the adults to spend time catching up while still giving us plenty of space for sleeping arrangements. Very clean and updated nicely!! Highly recommend! The property is beautiful and very peaceful.

We were visiting Santa Claus for a family wedding and chose this property all the way from Sunny AZ. We arrived late at night so to wake up to the beautiful views this property had to offer was a perfect escape from our normal shades of tan desert views. During our down time not out with family we enjoyed ping pong games with our teenagers and 8 and 10 year olds. My oldest son spent a lot of his free time beside the pond fishing. The Potter cottage was beautiful inside and out. Immaculately maintained and the perfect size for our large group. We will definitely stay at this property for future trips back home! We were impressed from the minute we pulled into the driveway! It just kept getting better as we made our way into the cottage! Beautiful setting and well cared for! Makes a person appreciate all of the work involved to make it nice for people they don't even know! I would highly recommend this VRBO for a trip to southern Indiana near Spencer Co. I would consider this spot one of our bookings for future trips. You will not be disappointed!

This is the best property I’ve ever rented for a yearly girls trip. It was VERY clean. The house and property are beautiful. It had everything we needed and was super close to Holiday World. Mattresses were incredible. Would definitely rent here again!

Overall it is a lovely and excellent property. Well cared for inside and out, clean and welcoming. The hosts are responsive and caring. The only criticism is for those trying to sleep in the basement. It was a challenge between the noise of the a/c, the water flushing through the system, and the chilled and moist air. The next night we slept on the couches upstairs. We had a wonderful time staying here with our entire family.

The potter's cottage is a perfect get a way if you are wanting to take a few days and explore holiday world. It is just down the street from the park and has all the comforts of home. Hope to make it out annual tradition!

This was a great house for the entire family. My nephews enjoyed playing a lot of ping pong. The view was beautiful with lots of natural light! Grandma enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning. Very quick drive to Holiday World - which made our mornings much easier. Plenty of space for everyone. We really enjoyed all getting to stay together. The house was very clean. We will be back! Only disappointed that we forgot to fill out the guestbook!
