The ease of the location was fantastic!! Arie was a great host and easy to reach. The boat itself was super cute!! I would return back and stay there again, I am recommending it to everyone!!
Everything was great! Even while it rained, the ease was still great.

The IDEA of staying on a boat, as far as we got.
From the wrong room given to entering the room with a wide-open window ( ITS JANUARY ), floor soaking wet due to leakages, stale smell of smoke.
Noise from builders working and staying on the boat each morning at 8 am EVERY DAY OF OUR 4-NIGHT STAY.
One towel for two adults for a 4-night stay.
No new towels were offered.
No power in the shower.
Room cold

Everything was super perfect. Clean, easy to find, friendly hosts and something special never experienced it before. Super luxurious pn a boat.
Everything was perfect. Maybe just add floor towel but that is advice, not negative comment. Actually the floor is way nice to leave drops of water on it 🙃 😅

This is my first experience of houseboat, thanks to Arie for providing me with help and room. I like the occasional wobble and slight flow of water. It makes me feel calm. It's worth to try.

The location is nice and quiet, tucked away while in convenient walking/biking distance to most place. Easy and friendly communication with the host. A unique experience worth every penny.

it was a great way to experience Amsterdam. the accommodations were very comfortable and we were far enough outside of the center it felt more like we lived there instead of just being a tourist.
not a thing.

such a great novel place to stay in an amazing city
the check in instructions weren’t great and the key was not in the lock box. thankfully the neighbours let us in! a bath/floor mat would have been good to stop us sliding on the floor.

Room was really nicely decorated. Not too far from central just a quick 20 min walk or you can jump on the bus. Arie was really friendly over messages and was helpful.
Our shower was quite dirty and when turned on the shower tray would overflow straight away and start to bring stuff up from the drain and would have a bad smell. Wasn’t a major issue as we used the bath instead but being pregnant and getting in and out the bath so much and often smelling the shower wasn’t great. Could’ve also done with more than 3 towels, especially with there not being a bath mat.

Very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed looking out of the portholes onto the water. We liked the location that wasn’t so touristy, but still only a short walk to good restaurants.
Difficult to find even with Google Maps. Then, the key wasn’t in the lockbox as we were told. Also, we were cold and couldn’t find a heater. once the weather warmed up, we were then fine.

Host met us and let us check in early. He explained all that we needed to know. It was really fun to stay on a boat. Nice Quiet location. We did sit up on the deck and had a glass of wine one night.
We had a 3 night reservation. Host only left one roll of toilet paper, no tissues, no napkins. Sent an email but did not hear back for 2 days. No bath mat or shower mat. I travel frequently and see many hotel guests that have slipped in the bathroom. Arie please put something in the bathroom for your guests safety. Coffee maker was 1 pod at a time and seemed to be misaligned as it only worked 1/2 the time. We should have asked Host to show us coffee maker the first day when he checked us in to room.

We had a great stay in the Eco HouseBoat! It was certainly a unique place to stay with a super comfortable bed and the added bonus of a large bath! The houseboat location is easily accessible by the number 48 bus from Centraal Station. We hope to be back soon!

the morning coffee on a terrace was wonderful (please do not be confused, the terrace is with the aprtment which has staircase on the pictures). the bed was comfy and especially the tub was excellent after all the cycling. we would recommend everyone to use this extraordinary accommodation while in Amsterdam.
there was no wardrobe for the clothes. and in february it was a bit colder inside but nothing terrible, it was easily managable

It was a really exceptional stay! The atmosphere of sleeping on a boat in a harbour is very special. Our room had a direct exit to the deck where we could sit on the chairs watching other boats and birds pass by:) The bed was big and comfortable, and having a bathtub with a round boat window next to it is an experience in itself. Despite my worries, the room was perfectly warm and very cozy.
At first the coffee machine didn't work but then this issue was fixed.
