The room was nice and adequate.
Fire alarm going off a 4.00am after booking our first night away after having our 6 month old and hoping for a good nights sleep. Despite the fire alarm going off and being told to go outside, no muster was conducted which is the whole point of a fire drill to ensure no one is left inside the building… inconvenient and incompetent.

The staff were very helpful and the room was spacious

Breakfast was adequate - fried or poached eggs would have been better than watery scrambled egg - toaster didn’t really toast on first go through but sadly blackened on second
The room was not as clean as it might have been - a rogue sock and razor left in bathroom - most definitely not ours and the room was rather hot during the night but bed very comfortable it expensive

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well equipped room. Bar food good
Breakfast was average-poor. Most of the items had gone by the time we ate - and we weren't especially late

Wheel chair entrance was under construction. I chose this location because my daughter has Cerebral palsy the pool was the big reason for booking this hotel. I was no prior notice about this construction, from the hotel, so we spent 3 weeks in our room.

On Sunday and Monday breakfast was just warm so Tuesday switched to cold breakfast. Sunday night fire alarm kept going off went to reception no staff there. Key to reset alarm was off site

It was very smart and clean. The room was a good size and very stylish. The bathroom was very smart, with a great shower. The breakfast was very good. The pool was great.
There weren’t enough sockets, and none by the bed.

It was a comfortable pleasant stay. However, due to error in location we had to pay extra with no breakfast. The staff at the Whiston hotel were great but could not reach the Wirral hotel by phone so we had to rebook and pay extra. Not great service.
No one was answering phone at the Wirral hotel and when we arrived the receptionist was at desk ignoring a ringing phone. Frustrating as we had to pay more due to her not answering call.

gym, bar, pool / spa facilities, staff
noise levels and smell (only sometimes) in room from kitchen extractor fans the noise woke me up every morning, nightlight that wouldn't turn off in room. Food was a bit pricey for what it was.

Room was ENORMOUS! adequate for my needs with mobility scooter
Everything clean and new and tasteful. I slept like a LOG in the beautiful king size bed!!
The staff went out of their way to make my trip a comfortable, manageable, and a total pleasure. They were exemplary.
The Grill and Bar were open, welcoming and the food was delicious, The chef went all out to accommodate special requests/diets for my guests and myself.
I will certainly come again!!
I do appreciate the benefit to many people to have the TV screens in the Grill and Bar, especially for sports fans.
For myself I would have been more at ease without so much noise!!
The staff did kindly offer to serve us in the reception area.
I really understand the need to have fire doors in the hotel.
For me it was SO HEAVY to open and hold whilst I manoevered myself in and out of the lovely room. I did wonder if a more automatic system (button to swing the door open) would ever be possible?
In every other way the access facilities for me (living with MS)and people like me were beyond excellent.

The greeting was great and once the computer had allocated us our room, they promptly decided upon themselves to change our room and upgrade us. How could we complain at that!?
We weren't there for a 2nd night to enjoy the spa and pools!
