Bristol airport early flight

Superb value for money. Clean and comfortable and within a stones throw of M5 junction. Really convenient for Bristol airport. Easy 20/25 minutes drive. Quiet despite proximity to motorway.

Excellent, short.comfortable stay

Staff were all friendly and professional. I had a ground floor room that suited me perfectly. Staff inn the restaurant for the evening meal and for breakfast could not have been more helpful.

Excellent attention to p deer personal requirements.

Dreadful location to find behind M5 junction 19 service station.. Obviously a lot of people have trampled over what are now muddy paths to get to the front door after parking..

Good vfm

Good stop over place at good price. Must mention a staff member, purple hair, receptionist, did the bar, sorted an electrical trip in the room. Accommodating, noticed her sorting others guests queries out too, total credit to the hotel. She needs some sort of promotion/recognition

A little disappointing overall.

Reception was okay. Room was okay.

Lack of above road signposting directions to the Hotel - rather than driving round the lorry park first. Better signposting of hotel exclusive car parking spaces. Stayed at Ramada Wrexham previously and it was better lit and more appealing. Breakfast was okay but a little more difficult to find things such as fruit juices. Not many staff around.

The Bate’s Motel was more appealing, will not stay again unless the ONLY OPTION

The 1 positive was it was a reasonable sized room with a comfy bed.. that’s where it ends!

Parking was dire. The staff were apathetic & the room hadn’t been cleaned properly! We only stayed as it was for 1 night & there was no alternative.. won’t go again!

Easy check in. Very helpful staff.

Breakfast chef was expected to cook, serve and replenish bread, juice, etc. As a result we waited for items to be cooked and replenished. Breakfast was good but chef needed more support

Great venue for a stop over on a long motorway journey.

Easy to find location. Quiet and staff were attentive. Coming up from the ferry at Plymouth this was about two hours drive, late of an evening so we were pleased to get there. We also had to move the date back a week and this was no issue to the staff.

Nothing really. We had little call on the accommodation other than a clean bed ans some breakfast - which was good actually.

Very hot and noisy! Lovely staff and fab bathroom facilities!

The bathroom facility was a good standard! The staff were very friendly and very willing to help! Always smiling and happy to chat!

Our room was very very hot and there was zero air conditioning! The window to our room was under building fans and could hear them all night! Struggled sleeping due to noise and heat!

Overall good stay for our trip.

Location was good for us.

The room was not cleaned in between the 2 night stay. Lighting in the room was poor and bathroom extractor noisy.

Exceptional

Clean and comfortable rooms with a lovely breakfast. Great option for a midway stop if heading to Cornwall from the North. We forgot something at the hotel. Getting in touch with them wasn't a problem at all. They were really efficient when going back to collect items.

dreadful, noisy dirty and very shabby

Room dated poor paintwork shabby, windows broken (latches) and would not close. Carpets stained.

Very good

Reception staff member was just the right person to greet visitors, very welcoming. Room comfortable and allowed for a decent sleep.

The shower thermometer was really sticky so it was a bit scalding until I could get it to budge. Everything else was spot on.

Great value for money

Much better than we expected from a motorway services hotel. We had a drink in the bar on arrival which we hadn't expected to be there.

This hotel is described as having a free car park, surely quite important for most people trying to stay at a motorway services motel. However, there are only a few spaces in the free car park, so in practice you arrive to find that it's full and you are told to park at the service station (where there are signs up telling you to pay for overnight car parking). It's quite a busy service station with people driving in at speed, so your car doesn't feel safe. The front of the hotel is unwelcoming and you'll have to wander through a cloud of vape smoke to get to the entrance, where you'll have to find someone at the bar to ask questions. We left and went to stay somewhere else, so this was a total waste of money, which would be understandable if the rooms were cheap but the overnight rate was extortionate given how bad this place is.

Breakfast sitting was a shambles

The initial first impression was good looked like a great hotel, the shower was the best thing about it unfortunately.

Beds weren't comfortable and 1 pillow which was like paper. Breakfast was a shambles if I'm honest, my family and I couldn't get a table at the restaurant then when we did it wasn't cleaned down. Had to wait for cutlery and plates, items missing from the breakfast selection also. It was that bad of an experience we didn't bother having breakfast the second morning and ate breakfast elsewhere even though we paid for bed and breakfast. I recommend booking time slots for breakfast because this experience means we would definitely not return to this accommodation.
