The location is very good. Hidden and tucked away.
There are very few variety of animals in the game reserve. You drive very long and only spot a few animals. For a big 5 reserve they should do better. The 5 star experience and all inclusive was limited. No welcoming and send send-off done properly. Reception is mostly vacant and normally there should always be someone ready to assist. The meals where rigid and limited. On 2or 3 options, I remember a prawn salad we had where it was over cooked and nothing else available to replace.

The view from the room is to die for
Nothing-although the doors and outside floors need some maintenance

I only liked the nice rooms
The bad drive to the lodge. The game drive that is the worst drive ever with awful roads. The driver with no personality and not informing us before and on the drive when asking that we will be on a 3-and-a-half-hour drive that is a nightmare in the mountain's rocky roads. He stopped for one drink. If we were told what is coming, we would have never joined the game drive. This was a disgrace.

Everything but the food
The food was not filling

The rooms were very nice
No wifi, we spent a full weekend of the greed (what also prevented you from using the room phone for room service).
The toilet is in the middle of the room without privacy.
the food was very basic and we didn't enjoy it at all.
When we checked out, they tried to charge us for extra R960 with a claim that this is the reserve fee, which is actually included, and we didn't pay it eventually.
The location of our room didn't leave any room.for view, we only got to see some trees.
The price was very high, and we expected to have the best time. It's actually not worth it, so the place is way overpriced.

loved the exclusivity andthe setting is like no other and it’s so private. the game drives were a true highlight and JD was amazing
poor Wi-Fi (not end of world) and sometimes the staff were slow. the food while nice wasn’t at level I would expect at this price point, and portions were very small.

Fantastic staff and guide (Jeandre). Rooms and location beautiful too, overlooking a valley.
The food could definitely do with some improvement to live up to a 5 star experience. Breakfasts were great but dinner menu tries to include things like “Thai chicken” or “moussaka” that completely miss the mark - I don’t feel these should be offered unless the chef knows how to cook them properly.

The rooms were amazing and so was our guide Marmon and Lodge Manager Hazel.
Wins selection was sufficient but would have preferred a few exceptional wines that one could purchase.

The accommodation was exceptional and the lodge is very modern. We particularly loved the space in the rooms, the room decor and the private plunge pool. The location (top of the cliff) was also amazing with great views of the valley below. The staff and game drives were really great and they really went out their way to make you feel special. I cant praise the lodge enough for the wonderful stay.
The food was tasty but below par for a 5 star rating. We never had a bad meal but I can not say they were rememberable.

The views of the place and the rooms were exquisite. The property was serene, private, peaceful and tranquil.
The food for Vegan dietary requirements could be improved.
The rooms need to be turned down after dinner.
Wi-Fi speed and connection could be better especially in the era of remote and hybrid work and to enable one to work from their tranquil space.
Their coffee and espresso isn’t tasty and could be improved. Suggest they get a Nespresso coffee machine.

Everything was exceptional. All the staff are so friendly and really will go the extra mile for you.
The lodge only accommodates about 16 people at a time which makes it really exclusive and relaxing.
Food is amazing and the rooms with the private pool are spectacular. Would highly recommend couples to go stay at this amazing establishment for some R&R

The location is EXCEPTIONAL, the running stream and greenery and hilltop views gives the location a sense of tranquility and wonder. Loved the location. The exceptional views is what drew me to the lodge and i was not disappointed. The pool views are Instagram worth! The game drive was also great with knowledgeable and patient game ranger who mixed a great G&T!!The manageress was very patient and welcoming answering all our questions. And the staff did their best to make us comfortable.
The food could do with finessing, refinement. The ostrich kebabs served for lunch were amazing, tender and tasty, everything else including dinner
was ordinary. The wine list was also very limited. Breakfast was an ok affair the views elevated the ordinary to extraordinary. I had the chicken egg etc wrap which was tasty & well plated.. My husband had the Mexican scramble eggs dish and he felt that the eggs were a bit dry. The sparadic WIFI can be a pain.

The location is AMAZING.
Correspondence before stay also good.
And thanks for the birthday cake for my husband.
The lodge needs some renovations. Thatch roof not in good condition. Entrance needs some TLC (just cleaning up a bit will make a big difference). Wooden deck on our room need attention (Room 3).

We had the most amazing stay. The room and the entire facility was gorgeous, and the views breathtaking. The staff took amazing care of us. Thank you so much especially to Hazel, Robert and Hope, as well as Stanley who was the best guide. We really didn't want to leave!
