The location was perfect. It was central to everything, but yet still "off the beaten track" enough to be one of the more quiet streets, which is surprising, given that it's beautifully situated on the corner of a canal and the Amstel River. There's a bench out front where we could have spent all day taking in the view. The apartment is warm and cosy, has excellent facilities for storing and heating food. We liked the fact that we had our own door in and out from the street. We were given a lovely bottle of wine on arrival (this was a late honeymoon after our original one had to be cancelled, so I don't know if this is common practice, but it was a lovely touch). Guido and Hans were nothing short of helpful and friendly throughout. We highly recommend this apartment and will return ourselves as soon as we can.
The only thing we didn't like was having to come home!

Very good and beautiful location, very friendly person, helped us with all we asked. The apartment has everything you could need. Recommended:)
The only thing you should be aware of (and it's written everywhere) the stairs to go inside. Not a really problem, you just need to be aware of. It's something very common in Amsterdam.

The apartment is more spacious and fancy than what we could tell from the pictures. It's very cozy, clean and placed in the big heart of the amazing Amsterdam.
We loved the neighbourhood and made our way through the city by foot because everything is within walking distance from the apartment.
We were welcomed by Hans who was very helpful, handing us a folder with travel tips and showing us around the city map. He was also very patient with us - coming from the train station, we initially thought we would get to the apartment by tram or bus, but after realising that the apartment was only 18 minutes away, we got there by walking.
This is not really an issue, just letting you know.
There are no windows, but there is a table fan.
So apart from the outside door (*made out of glass and with a built-in small ventilation grille, so there's no need to panic if you’re claustrophobic), the bathroom fan and the table fan, it's rather hard to properly ventilate the apartment.
Nonetheless, the windy and rainy weather in Amsterdam make the lack of windows not important.

This is probably one of the best holiday apartments I’ve ever stayed in. Excellent location. The owner was very thorough and detailed about the property and offered great advice and suggestions for our stay. I’d highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

The location of this apartment was perfect, everything was in walking distance so no public transport was needed. The apartment had everything you could possibly need for your stay, it was just a perfect apartment for anyone looking to stay in Amsterdam. We were warmly welcomed and given a full tour of the apartment as well as giving us recommendations as to what to do whilst we are in Amsterdam. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience
Nothing needed changing as it was perfect

Firstly we were kindly greeted by Guido and given a thorough tour of the apartment and a breakdown of the city as it was our first visit. He also treated us to a bottle of wine upon arrival which was perfect.
Location was great, right on the beautiful Amstel canal with a short walk to the busier parts of the city!
There's an outdoor market just over the river, a few nearby cafes and restaurants which were very nice.
We walked everywhere we wanted to go in Amsterdam, from the museum district, Anne Frank's house, Centraal train station and to the red light district if that's more to your tastes!
Would highly recommend this apartment if you're spending a long weekend in Amsterdam like I did. Looking forward to coming back.
Hitting my head the first time I went down the steps into the apartment even after I was warned, but I learnt my lesson after that!

The apartments location was amazing, central, so you could access everything within a 15 minute walk. It was nearby cafes and restaurants but in a residential area which was so quiet so you could get a great night sleep without disturbance. The view from the apartment is amazing and it was a pleasure every morning to walk out to the canal view. Guido and his friend who met us were so friendly and helpful! The apartment comes with tea, coffee and a fridge and cooking facilities etc so you can enjoy your stay comfortably. Lovely bathroom, bed was comfortable and good TV chanel selection! Also there is luggage storage if needed after check out which is fab for an apartment.
Nothing!
