Pleasurable stay

The hotel is really close to the city center and main atractions of the city (less than 10-minutes walking distance). Although the room was rather small, it was enough for our 2-night stay. It was clean and nice - that's the most important things.

It was hard to find a place during the breakfast - the eating area wasn't big enough to fit all the guests. It didn't brother us that much though, since we've always managed to finally find a table.

Exceptional

Everything was wonderful in Zander K, the location is great and the breakfast delicious! We hope we return as soon as possibile in Bergen. Tusen takk!

Not your usual central hotel

I was very pleasantly surprised by how safe and quiet the area was: usually areas around the central station aren't the best, but this wasn't the case! It was both super central, well connected and quiet! The whole reception, restaurant/breakfast and waiting area is very lovely and welcoming. The rooms have some fantastic pieces of design and are also very clean. Overall very good value for money!

There were some things that were definitely peculiar, like the ceiling being raw, dirty concrete. I get the stark contrast with the design items, but I'm sure it would have looked nice without nails sticking out of it :) Our room view was quite unfortunate - a concrete backyard and a view to apartments. Lastly, one of the cleaning staff from the breakfast was very insisting on both mornings we ate there: she'd be waiting and staring until we finished our coffee/water to take our cups off our hands - very weird!

Very good

I stayed on the 6th floor and had a great view. The room was spacious and comfortable. Good bed. Breakfast great and the location was perfect, just by the central bus station and the City Line. Good value for money!

The room had a carpet that had seen better times. A little more desk- or shelve space would have been nice. But no big problem!

Nice place, good location. Staff polite and helpful. Tasty breakfasts, a large selection of products. Rooms and common space well-kept.

great stay for short trip

very clean, nice breakfast provided, great location, quiet (but bear in mind it’s not sound proof)

weird bed setting. queen sized bed with 2 separated blankets. pillow is not very comfortable

Very great location, staff wonderful.

Breakfast was very good, staff great. I only wish there was a pool or spa at hotel- that would have made it perfect. A hot tub after a long day of travel would have been so good.

The room was comfortable, breakfast was very rich The location was pretty close to the center. Walking with the luggage from the car park through the train station and then to the hotel was not so fun ..

Very great salmon bring me back to the hotel again. The breakfast is great here:

The breakfast is very nice. Very Great salmon, great fruits, very fresh vegetables, variety of breakfast foods. The location is perfect. Very near the train station. The reception areas have seats to sit is fine. I recommend this hotel to live especially the great breakfast.😃

The beds are not comfortable. The toilet is acceptable but can be improved.

Great home base for three nights exploring Bergen.

Great location if you arrive by train, and for easily walking to the waterfront and other Bergen highlights. Very quiet in the room - didn’t hear much outside noise.

All good, exceptional gym.

Exceptional gym: Fully equipped for cardio and weight lifting, including free weights. The breakfast choices were very good and diverse, including many vegan options.

The double bed seemed a bit narrow for two (average) people, and the mattress too wobbly. The entire room was rather small and oddly shaped - though the bathroom was large enough. The lighting was dim everywhere, including the breakfast area. The breakfast area was often overcrowded, such that people were also sitting in lounge/bar area, with anyone entering the hotel walking by.

In the bathroom there was a smell of mold. We also found some hair on the soap dispenser. The fridge in the room was not working.
