A comfortable hotel in the heart of Krabi

Has all the needed amenities with helpful staff.

The entrance is a little hard to find but the staff easily help you.

A wonderful place ideally located for seeing the area

This was more like an up market guest house than a hotel, located above a very popular patisserie and cafe owned by the same people in the centre of Krabi. It was close to the river and there were plenty of places to eat close by including night markets. It’s ideally located for trips to the jungle and islands. The room was spacious and nicely laid out with a large king size bed. A lot of thought had been put into making sure guests had everything they needed. There were plenty of nice touches such as coffee beans and a grinder and filter,a kettle and selection of teas plus chocolate brownie cookies. There was always left over pastries at the end of the day that were offered to guests Toiletries were provided along with an emergency toothbrush and toothpaste, dressing gowns etc The bed was really comfortable As with many places you cannot put toilet paper down the loo so be prepared to use a bum gun if necessary

Breakfast is not included in the price and it was a shame that there wasn’t a deal for guests eating in the cafe as the price of breakfast in the cafe was on the high side in comparison to the room. This could be a problem if you are on a budget - you will need to go out.

Everything! The food, the people, the rooms. After visiting krabi in 2019 and falling in love with a cafe called may and mark’s it was gutting to see it closed but then when reading the welcome pack after checking in here, this hotel is run by the same family! Awesome :-) The little cookies and brownies in the room with coffee and coffee grinder was just out of this world.

Only there one night (to transfer to airport), but enjoyed being there immensely..

Located near the river and market.

It is a bit strange having to access it via a small spiral staircase within a cafe, including in the dead of night when the cafe is closed. Having said that, the cafe is ultra modern and clean and the staff offered to carry our suitcase up and down the stairs.

Niet voor deze prijs

De hotelkamer opzich is best prima. Voor m'n gevoel een beetje rare indeling met het raam, maar niet onoverkomelijk.

We zaten op de 3e verdieping en er is geen lift dus dat betekende dat we onze koffers moesten tillen. De dame achter de balie hielp ons wel, maar met twee koffers betekende dat dat we dus alsnog drie smalle trappen op moesten, gewoon niet zo prettig na een lange reis. De kamer zelf was heel vochtig en benauwd, dat geldt trouwens voor het hele hotel. Daarnaast was de A/C erg luidruchtig. Ook kwam ik allemaal kleine dingetjes tegen. Een gat de de kussensloop, een kraan die niet goed werkt, tegels in de douche een beetje schimmelig. Al met al was het best een oke kamer maar zeker niet voor de prijs die we betaalde. Vergeleken met andere hotels in deze prijsklasse op onze reis door Thailand was ik echt een beetje teleurgesteld.

Great, modern, clean, friendly hotel with the added bonus of being above a coffee shop

This is quite a quirky, modern hotel with the benefit of being above a coffee shop/bakery. There are great perks as you sometimes get the excess pastries at the end of the day left for you. You enter the hotel through the shop which is a novelty. The rooms are clean and modern with jars of snacks and coffee. It’s also a great location to the weekend market and night market

Wunderschön, aber Schimmel...

Tolle, stilvolle Ausstattung, gute Lage in Krabi Town, sehr nettes Personal, jeden Abend Kuchen geschenkt bekommen und jeden Tag gibt es Kekse und Kaffee zum selber Mahlen auf's Zimmer!

Schimmel im Zimmer, trotz Klimaanlage ist alles etwas feucht, der Ausblick nach hinten ist wirklich nicht schön, Preisliste, falls etwas im Zimmer kaputt geht mit meiner Ansicht nach unverschämten Preisen.

Sehr gut gelegenes Stadthotel mit angeschlossener Konditorei

Abgesehen vom sehr netten Personal und der guten Lage im Zentrum von Krabi mit seinem tollen Nachtmarkt (Black Crab Night Market) hat uns vor allem das großartige Cafe im Erdgeschoss mit sehr leckeren Kaffeespezialitäten und ausgefallenen Frühstücksangeboten und Torten gefallen.

Abschrecken lassen darf man sich nicht wie alle anderen Anreisenden von der steilen Wendeltreppe, die einen aus dem allein zugänglichen Cafe in die im 1. OG gelegene Hotellobby führt. Das Gepäck wird auf Wunsch vom selbst sog. Bellboy transportiert.

Top Empfehlung, um krabi Stadt und Umgebung zu entdecken

Alles recht neu, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Tolle zentrale Lage und trotzdem ruhig. Tolle Bäckerei mit sehr leckerem Frühstück im Erdgeschoss

Die Mitarbeiterinnen an der Rezeption konnten wenig Englisch und waren auch nicht sehr serviceorientiert.

Great location and fabulous breakfast

Nicely designed setup (hotel and restaurant). Great breakfast and service. Fabulous coffee. Room was right next to big ventilation machinery or something like that, so quite loud. Comfy beds. Great location if you want to be downtown Krabi

Nice stay

Very nice accommodation in Krabi town.The location of the hotel is really great, the bakery which is directly connected to the hotel makes first-class products which, however, have their price. I recommend taking advantage of the hotel's breakfast offer if you want to have breakfast in the bakery every day, otherwise you will quickly exceed this amount. However, the bakery is a very popular place and therefore always very full. The rooms are clean, quite large and the furnishings are really very nice. The whole hotel is furnished with love, you can see that at first glance. Pastries from the bakery sweeten your day every day free of charge. We would really recommend this accommodation to anyone.

The view from the balcony is blocked by a construction of the outer facade, so the balcony is not suitable for lingering. The room had a somewhat musty smell which probably comes from the air conditioning. The air conditioning in our room was also very loud.

Great stay at Family Tree Hotel

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the family tree hotel. The premise is well set up and the room is spacious and comfortable. The coffee shop downstairs from the hotel is amazing, they serve well presented and delicious food. Overall we had a great stay.

I did not like that the property does not have a lift and that it is also a bit far from the Ao Nang Beach.

Saubere, nette Unterkunft

Schöne, saubere, moderne Zimmer, bequeme Betten. Es gibt sogar Kaffee und Kekse auf dem Zimmer. Nettes Café mit super lieben Mitarbeitern

Zimmer ist muffig, da keine Abluft oder Fenster im Bad. Zimmer wird nur nach Aufforderung gereinigt. Frühstück sehr gut aber mit 350 Bath pro Person extra auch sehr teuer. Insgesamt schöne Unterkunft aber zu teuer für das was man bekommt.

Passable

Gave us leftover pastries from the bakery downstairs at the end of the day.

Took a deposit for an extra keycard and never paid it back to us even after messaging back and forth. Also noted that we were on our honeymoon and this wasn't reflected in our room in any way (this is not required of course, but would have been a nice touch).

Didn't stay long enough!

The hotel was lovely, rooms very clean, massive comfy bed, private balcony, fridge and free (delicious) snacks everyday. Staff also very pleasant. The coffee shop downstairs served great coffee and the food was excellent. Really loved this place. Location was excellent, short walk to the night market and riverfront.

Our only issue was finding the hotel (mostly our fault as I think we missed that the hotel was above the "much and mellow" coffee shop downstairs).

Superb

The hotel upgraded us to the bigger room since the one that we booked was not available at the time of booking and we did not like that room. It's totally free of charge! Everything in the mini-bar is free and included in the room-rate, moreover, they also gave us the small desserts in the evening as well. The 350THB all-day breakfast was really great and we did really like the concept of "all-day" since we did not have to wake up early to take the breakfasts :-)

We liked most of the hotel designs concept but we do not like the bath, it looks good but not practical at all!

I would highly recommend. Great location, including a world-class pastry and espresso restaurant.

The room was excellent.

The AC unit was a wee bit noisy at times, but we only stayed one night and I'm confident they would have corrected it had we stayed longer.

Fantastic hotel, great location and recommended.

Location in Krabi was excellent, with restaurants and bars all around. Built on top of a fantastic cafe (have to walk through it to the rooms) which served great food and also, importantly, couldn't be heard from even the rooms directly above. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well recommended. The staff were really helpful in pointing out local amenities and activities, as well as helping with directions. Very friendly.

As many others have said, having to carry huge bags up & down a small spiral staircase in the cafe to the hotel on the first floor. For those with mobility, accessibility issues - this is not the hotel for you. Whilst the hotel staff carried our large bags up a back-staircase, it is not ideal if leaving early on to have to carry them yourselves with no lift. A minor note, the rest it was fantastic.

Amazing!!!

We had such a nice stay here! You can eat breakfast downstairs. All of their food and drinks are so delicious!!! It turns into a cocktail bar after 19:00 hours and the cocktails are also super good! Staff is super nice. They have free cookies and drinks for you at the room. They even bring a cake and 2 milkdrinks in the evening.

They do not have an elevator, so this could be a problem if you have to check out early. Then yoi have to bring your own luggage downstairs for example. The shower is not really hard, so it could be that you think the water is too soft. Also a higher couch would be better. Now the couch is really on the ground. The location is great for in Krabi, but there is no nightlife here. Then you should go to Ao Nang.

Very modern and clean. Good coffee and bakery. Quite close to river.

A lovely stay

The staff are very nice and friendly. The room design is very unique, cute, and clean. Bed is so comfy. I enjoy their shower set a lot, they are fresh and soothing fragrant. Also, everything in the room are complementary. They even have treats for you at the end of the day every day from their bakery.

I wish they have an elevator, and upgrade their TV to a smart one, and this hotel would be a very awesome place to stay. However, if I have a chance to come back to Krabi, I would come and stay here again for sure!! 😊
