Just enjoyed every bit of the stay

excellent location, super clean and spacious, very asthetically built, beautiful interiors, feels just like home

the access to the villa has a common entrance which hinders privacy a bit. it can be made independent

Exceptional

Unbelievable place to stay in Badami. I have been a frequent visitor to Badami and have tried many hotels. But this place is really awesome to stay. Caretaker Mr.Rajput is down to earth and takes good care of the visitors. Room, bed, pillows and spreads were very tidy-fresh and bathroom was damn clean. Felt at home. The kitchen and the hall were very modern. Will be my only place to stay at Badami henceforth!!

Overpriced and stressful

The room was comfortable. The caretaker Rajput was very helpful and brought us delicious local food in huge quantities whenever we asked.

The booking was misleading. We were very disappointed to learn that the one room “villa” is in fact just one small room in the house. This means you do have have access to the living room, kitchen or roof terrace as the booking states. It is therefore extremely over priced. I felt quite harassed by StayVista bookings who own the accommodation. I was called and messaged numerous times to make the payment before I arrived, despite my assurances that a payment transfer had been paid and was just taking time to process.

My stay here was excellent! I loved the architecture and vibe of the place and the bed is super comfortable and rooms and bathrooms are modern and cosy. This will be my first stop next time I'm in Badami.

An uncomfortable experience

The help provided by one of the caretakers (which should be natural for a host in a "homestay").

We spent 2 days here although the property strangely cancelled our reservation once we had left. The prepayment was everything but easy. The room was clean but small and over priced with the AC not working very well. The property also features as a homestay but the hosts don't live there, and we felt rather uncomfortable with the situation of the caretakers always sort of hanging around waiting for a request while watching TV to pass the time. Only one was actually helpful and could speak English. We also found ourselves locked in twice, as guests do not get any keys and can't let themselves in or out when no one happens to be around. Besides the listed cost of the room, you are also expected to tip the caretakers. In a normal homestay, helping the guests with getting around is usually something the hosts do as part of their offer. And greater transparency in what facilities need to be paid for would also help as we were told we could use the kitchen but discovered at the end that there was a charge for it. It is not clear what sort of target the place is after. And some real chairs for guests to sit outside?

Not enough value for money...

Clean, comfortable and quiet

Difficult to find the lace: neither Google map nor the rickshaws know the place Final price charged by Vista above the Booking offer (tax issue...) Requirement for payment in advance through a system which is not convenient and costly Poor service by the home keeper: no mineral water in the room, morning tea promised and even paid but not delivered for obscure reasons (the man does not speak English), catering for the dinner less than average...

Exceptional

The house was beautifully decorated. Each and every piece was had picked and tastefully placed. Mr. Abhishek was responsible for service and he did a great job. Food arranged at the home was delicious. Entire place was clean and tidy.
