Overall a great stay that I would recommend to anyone I meet

Fantastic service, especially during breakfast

Location. Not too bad but it takes a warm walk of 7 min to the ocean

Perfekte Unterkunft in Tamarindo

Familiäres Ambiente, sehr freundliches und serviceorientiertes Personal. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, schöne, saubere Zimmer. Sehr gepflegtes Hotel in schöner Gartenanlage. Zentrale Lage in kurzer Gehdistanz zu Strand und Meer. Die Rezeption hat uns die private Fahrt durch ihren Angestellten Jackson mit Grenzübertritt nach Nicaragua organisiert! Wir können diese Unterkunft in höchsten Tönen empfehlen!

Great cute hotel central to everything

Cute hotel with pool in close proximity to town walking. Very safe to walk around even at night. The breakfast was delicious (especially the excellent coffee). Rooms were just what we needed. The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend!

Great stay overall!

The staff - Justine, Henry and Steven were absolutely amazing and truly looked after me during my stay. They had great recommendations for eating out and things to do. Very helpful.

The property is not sound proof. You can hear your neighbours walking or moving items in the room.

Costa Rica was an Amazing Experience and Arco Iris was a Beautiful Property

I loved the style of architecture. It was a very beautiful design and room was comfortable and clean.

Lots of mosquitoes and lizards, but that’s to be expected with the country.

A wonderful tropical experience!

Loved the outdoor space, the breakfast and the service was wonderful, and the room and bed was very comfortable and extremely clean.

The septic system needs work or replacement.

This is a good choice for sound sleepers!

Grounds were pretty. Staff was great and accommodating. I liked that coffee was ready by 5:45 AM--it was even poured for me! Felt very secure.

My ONE pet peeve is that the owner seems to like to mill around and talk to his staff in a loud, boomy voice. And at times he went on and on. We old folks like to nap and in the afternoon I had to give up. It happened again at about 9:30 at night. I realize the need to converse with staff, but (assuming nothing is wrong, and it sounded more like just shooting the breeze) away from the rooms, please, and at normal conversation level, not like talking to a deaf person!

loved the included breakfast it was really good and the staff was very kind and helpful. having Netflix in our room was really nice. it was also really private in a very congested area and even parking for guests

A perfect Oasis tucked away from the busy town of Tamarindo.

Super comfortable beds in lovely rooms. The grounds are full of trees & plants creating a natural vibe. Easy walking distance to the beach.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Arco Iris and overall, my experience was satisfactory. The room was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable furnishings and all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful, always available to answer questions or provide recommendations. However, I found that my stay was not great value for money. Despite the satisfactory experience, the cost of the hotel was quite high compared to other options in the area. This was especially disappointing considering that the hotel did not offer any extra amenities or services to justify the higher cost. I felt that I could have received a similar experience at a lower cost had I chosen a different hotel. In conclusion, while I had a satisfactory stay at Hotel Arco Iris, I cannot recommend it due to the poor value for money. If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the area, there are likely better options available at a more affordable price.

Quaint hotel with outstanding service

Staff was great, quaint, quiet location close to the restaurants, bars and the beach. Breakfast menu was limited, but really had something for everyone. Near the beach as well. Loved it and would absolutely return!

Overall experience was delightful.

Our room was clean and well appointed. Daily breakfast was terrific: plenty of choices and cheerful, attentive service. Hotel staff was very helpful with arranging transportation and giving advice on what to do and where to visit.

Sorry to see the restaurant no longer serves dinner, only breakfast.

Peaceful, relaxing haven.

Quiet and peaceful away from the mayhem of the beach. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The pool was a great way to cool down after a hot day in the town and on the beach.
