Buen hotel, si solo se pasa durmiendo en la habitación

La piscina, la amabilidad del personal, el entorno. Tenían buenas opciones para elegir en el desayuno (a la carte eligiendo uno entre 5 o 6). El restaurante par la cena también era bueno.

La habitación no era muy grande (lo sabíamos antes, pero tenían una cómoda y una mesa con silla de exterior en la habitación, que la hicieron parecer aún más pequeña, se podría pensar en reformarlo y poner un armario u otras cosas más útiles) Las ventanas eran de plástico y no cerraban bien por lo que también se escuchaba todo de fuera (hacia mucho ruido en las calles por la noche) . Estuvimos en semana santa y se pasaron bastante con el precio, para lo que era.

I wouldn’t stay here again but the location is great!

Location and pool.

The AC was barely working, at least no cold air. The rooms are very old and the beds are hard as a rock. The shower was also barely working. I was very excited for the smoothie bowl for breakfast but they didn’t have it for 3 mornings in a row unfortunately.

Leuk hotel, lieve mensen en de eigenaresse Rita is super klantvriendelijk

Lieve mensen, leuke sfeer. Net buiten de echte drukte. Dichtbij de bank en een geweldig Indiaas restaurant. Loopafstand naar t strand en de winkeltjes.

Soms in de nacht wat herrie in de straat maar niet echt een probleem. Tamarindo zelf was druk.

Our stay at Hotel Boruca was very peaceful and a great was to start our vacation.

The hotel was stunning, especially the courtyard in the center where we ate breakfast every morning. The staff members were delightful and very helpful. The overall tone of the place was very peaceful. The location was perfect as it was a few doors down from a supermarket as well as a bank. It was an 8 minute walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay. The included breakfast was excellent with a choice between a smoothie bowl, a fruit bowl, gallo pinto or pancakes. Traveling with my family there was something for everyone!

My only complaint would be the strength of the chemicals in the pool. The pool itself was beautiful, but the smell of the chemicals was unpleasant and gave me pause. Other than that, I highly recommend!!

Amazing stay in Tamarindo

Comfortable rooms with AC, comfy beds, and a mini fridge. The pool was fantastic to escape the midday heat. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodative.

Stop wondering about it and just book it.

Great facilities and staff. Honestly it was refreshing to meet such nice people. The pool is wonderful and the inner courtyard is quiet. The wifi service is excellent.

This has nothing to do with the hotel per se but outside the sidewalks are a little rough.

Hotel mignon et son côté tarabiscote lui donne un air ancien, bien situé, pres de tout, mais loin du bruit.

Il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner avant 8h. Salle de bain minuscule

Nice. Would stay again.

Good breakfast good selection. Nice courtyard setting.

Our room was close to the road and traffic noise made sleep difficult. Also big trucks starting early in the morning.

Kan ikke anbefale dette sted.

Beliggenheden var nogenlunde. Her var dog meget beskidt og intet myggenet i vinduerne ud mod vejen.

Her var beskidt.. morgenmaden var nogenlunde, men meget sparsomt. Vi skulle enda betale for et ekstra glad juice til morgenmaden. Selvom morgenmad var inkluderet i prisen…

Excelente calidad-precio

El alojamiento queda cerca de la calle principal, pero a la vez es tranquilo y un poco alejado del movimiento. El alojamiento es muy lindo y super comodo, te sentis como en tu casa. El personal super amable y el desayuno estaba excelente.

En epoca seca en Costa Rica, levanta mucho polvo la calle y entraba un poco de polvo por la ventana de la habitación. No es grave pero en la habitación había un poco de polvo.

A fantastic stay

Stunning property with a great breakfast included everyday, and lovely hosts.

WiFi didn’t work well in our room, but in the common areas and throughout the rest of the property it did so can’t complain too much.

Nel caos di gennaio di Tamarindo una oasi tropicale.

Colazione su ordinazione ottima. Posizione decentrata rispetto al caos di Tamarindo. Buono il ristorante.

I wouldn’t choose it again

Location

My room had an uneven floor. No chair, draws or wardrobe. Toilet was small and in a very tight location. Lighting in bathroom was poor

Bon séjour dans l'ensemble.

Hôtel original et aménagé avec goût. Le petit déjeuner était bien.

Le mobilier était un peu vétuste. Certaines prises de courant étaient en dehors du mur. Il manquait des serviettes dans la chambre.

Personal muy atento, la localización perfecta, desayuno rico y una porción buena. La piscina deliciosa para estos calores de verano, el lugar tiene mucha vegetación lo que lo hace mantenerse muy fresco.

Las habitaciones ocupan un poco de cuidado, se ven viejas, igualmente que la fachada de los edificios en general una pintada y detalles mínimos les vendría bien. Consejo tener smart tv en todas las habitaciones! y mejorar la red de wifi en la habitación no me llegaba.

Best place to stay in Tamarindo

Very good service . Staff was so friendly and caring .The facilites very clean . Has a clean good sized pool .it was close to the center 5 min walk .. breakfast was just perfect . They have an italian restaurant ( outside of hotel) the food was delicious .. 20 out 10 . BEST AFFORDABLE HOTEL IN TAMARINDO ..

Good location, floor could have been much cleaner.

It was right for a short stay and close to the bus terminal. Hotel was nice, rooms were ok.

Floors were very Sandy/dirty. I understand the area is dusty and close to the beach, but I could have been cleaner.

Brilliant service and comfortable rooms

When we arrived the receptionist was super friendly and attentive, helping us check in a little early and storing our luggage whilst we explored a little of Tamarindo as they finished off the room. The room was clean, comfortable and air conditioned! the bathroom was also super clean and overall, the room was brilliant value. the pool was so pretty and the outside common area felt super private and relaxing. just a quick walk down the road and you're in Tamarindo or at the beach. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and right next to a market and ATM's.

Beautiful and peaceful stay. Breakfast was incredible, there were multiple options. Ex. Passionfruit smoothie bowl, blueberry pancakes, an omlette with spinach, onion, etc. The grounds were stunning with a palazzo style pool and so much detail put into the overall aesthetic of the hotel. They obviously take a lot of pride into the hotel and the Italian restaurant is a gem.

Great staff but everything else needs much improvement.

Positives - lovely staff, breakfast and next door restaurant.

Needs improvement - not clean (grubby walls, bathroom, and surfaces); room was dark and due to no mosquito nets on one set of windows, the curtains had to always be closed while the other window was on the central courtyard so had to be kept closed. It appears there has been no investment in the rooms I saw for many years, with uncomfortable furniture, dark decor and old dirty curtains... It is so different to the hotel across the road whose rooms appear bright, clean, light and airy for about the same price! I would not return or recommend.

Great value small quiet hotel central to everything. Lovely staff and great breakfast. Recommended.

Great location just a few minutes walk to the main street. the main bus stop and the beach and shops and adjacent to cafes and with their own very popular restaurant in front for evening dining. The pool was refreshing, with lounge chairs and tables in the central area surrounded by trees and plants. The staff were fabulous, as was the breakfast with tasty different options from omelette to fruit and granola, tico breakfast and more. Great coffee. The bed was okay and firm, just not quite up to the quality of typical American hotels. The room aircon was sufficient and quiet and there was a TV on the wall and a large bar fridge It is an excellent small, quiet well situated hotel and i would stay there again. should we revisit Tamarindo for another overnight trip, Definitely recommended.

There are no glasses or cups in the room for evening drinks. (although it is possible that they may provide them if asked).

Staffs and the owner was friendly.

It was bit pricy for the value of the room. I was bitten by mosquitoes but I didn't aware of it that awfulness until couple days later. Please fix the door and window so that the mosquitoes won't break-in.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We loved the location. So close to the beach, but a couple of blocks up, so away from the noise. We had a problem (with hot water), and it was addressed and fixed within about 25 minutes. We loved it here!
