If the kids have tons of energy and tire of the beach, drive less than 5 minutes just across to the west side to community tennis, an outdoor skate park, or bike along miles and miles of bike paths around the Wright Brothers Memorial National Park, quiet neighborhoods and along the sound. Really fit? Keep on going through the Nature Conservancy packed dirt roads. Pier fishing is a couple miles in either direction for your choice of fishing fun or just walking out over the water after a great family mealtime. Great location- nice comfortable accommodations- great restaurants and shops nearby. Easy access to the beach right across the street. Holy Cow Creamery- Food Dudes - beach Braids for Henna. We had a great time and so close to so much fun stuff today. Great beds and I like how the cabinets were labeled. The game room was so much fun and the hot tub was relaxing.

My family enjoyed our stay at this property. Close to the beach, we also enjoyed biking to Dairy Queen and around the neighborhood. House was clean, beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, sitting on the various decks and the ping pong table :-)

Lovely property nicely furnished and adequate room to relax and spread out. Location to the beach couldn't be better. The Game room at ground level was a gift - and we spend many evenings playing pool and ping pong! We didn't use the hot tub, although it was available. Not being used to "city traffic" we found being positioned not far from the road was a little noisier than we're used to during the day - (but then, we're not generally in our own house during the day either!) All in all, this rental was a most enjoyable and comfortable home all round. It made for a nice vacation week.

Our family had wonderful time in this OBX home. It was large enough for our family, even on rainy days. The beach is just across the street, so quick access. The house is located close to many activities, too. We hope to stay again!
